Slow and not user friendly
I have been using DEGIRO since 2019. But recently some competitors have been offering better products and at better prices. While DEGIRO believed they had a monopoly in Europe, it is not the case anymore. Lack of investments is making the app slow and less user friendly. For instance, on average it takes 20 to 30 seconds to connect to the app after login; probably a slow server.
App is dysfunctional
Consistently get logged out and the app freezes before opening. This is unacceptable for an investing application where speed is of the essence when trying to manage positions

Customer service is very poor

It is incredible that a financial institute has such a terrible app. Half of the time it is not connecting to their server; it leaks memory, and the list of not working components goes on and on and on. I really wonder how it is possible that a trading platform has such a bad app. It tells me not to trust this trading platform. I wish I could give them negative stars. They say they were awarded the best stock trading app. Are these other apps even worse?
Couldn´t verify my Spanish ID

Doesnt connect
Does not connect when skipping registration with an connection error. Hangs after uploading documents. My connection obviously works writing this review.
Avoid: you will thank me
I try to open an account, I’m not going to get into how difficult, annoying and strange it is to open an account. I sent my documents and they told me to wait for confirmation that all documents checked out, so I closed the app. Two days later they confirmed my documents but when I go to login, the screen shows a loading page that loads forever. So I look for customer support, they have an email option, can’t find a direct chat support. I email asking for help to finish setting up account, but because I don’t have an account, my email is not in the system so they don’t even accept my message asking for help. Can’t understand who is in charge of all this but no way do I trust this app with my money, and neither should you.

Do not use - they try to withhold your assets
My and my friends decided to move our positions to a different broker at some point. The process had taken 4 months and is still not done despite there being no complications. They stopped responding to my emails and even restricted my trading without even contacting the other broker to arrange for a settlement of the position transfer. I’m really worried that I’ll never see the money again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Protecting the Rich
It’s hypocritical from degiro to protect the rich by limiting buying of gamestop and AMC stocks. Shame on you!

Language
No English????!!!! Why can’t you switch your language to English if your using the Netherlands account? Makes no sense...
Very limited app.
The trading itself is efficient. However from a portfolio management POV soooo limited and so far behind the competition. I have to use another app to keep a good eye on it.

Why is it so old school?
It looks like developers designed the app instead of UX designers… many times the UI scared even, I know the app is legitimate but, I think whoever in charge of the app development, is not really into tech world and more and old fashion person.

Language!!!
Strange that there is no option for preferred language. If I reside in Poland it is automatically assumed my preferred language is polish and there is no option to change it to english. I see there are complaints about this from two years ago and still no efforts to fix this?! Come on you can do better
Customize
The overall is ok, but unfortunately I’m not able to customize my preferred index to follow and a lot stocks aren’t available to follow, specially American and Canadian stocks!
Can I ask you for a specific one?
I understand I have a Portuguese account but I don’t want to follow the Portuguese index!! Thank you but no!!!
I would love to be able to set it up the way and focus on the markets I believe are relevante for me!
