Worst food app on the market
While every other app on the market is clean sleek fast and easy this app feels like it was made as a high school coding project. Whoever made this app has lost the company my business more time than I can count due to the horrible user interface and how slow and glitchy everything is. The middle schooler they had create the framework and app as a whole needs to be fired out of a cannon into the sun. This app sucks and needs a serious overhaul.

Worst Fast Food App I’ve Ever Used
Creating account using Apple ID- it sent a confirmation to a random email that is in no way related to my Apple account. I thought maybe it was a masked email issue, which I didn’t ask it to do. Also never got the confirmation email.
Next attempt, I created an account with my Gmail. When I got to the point of choosing a location, I could go no further. After multiple attempts, I closed the app & tried again a couple times.
Finally time to order & it didn’t let me choose what size drink or fries I wanted. Ever other FF app I’ve used automatically offers a “meal deal.” Nope! Only if you start out that way!
Finally, go to pay & Apple Pay isn’t an option. Gotta use a card. Not the most convenient nor secure. App deleted.

Online orders never work. My orders always get canceled through the app.

the app is so useless; half the time I just decide to eat somewhere else. It’s been this way for years and the developers don’t fix it. It’s tremendously slow. The loading wheel spins for a few seconds at every action. The rewards are very finicky and won’t work half the time. I get the same thing every time and half the time it says the conditions haven’t not been met. You reload the screen a few times, add/re-add all the items, add/re-add the coupon… it eventually works. You have to re-type in your credit card every few orders. No option for Apple Pay. Normally I run out of patience before I order & just go somewhere else.

Garbage buggy convoluted app
Im just going to stop bothering to try to order delivery. They let you select a restaurant go thru the hassle of selecting all your items, enter your payment info, to then say restaurant is closed. Then i select another restaurant and if does the same thing. Total bs waste of time and obviously del taco doesnt value mine.
Worst app ever
Seriously, my kid handed me my device after choosing their item. The auto rotate hit and the entire order was lost. During the next attempt, one of my kids accidentally touched the edge of the device handing it to another. Order was lost. Not to mention when signing up, a giant picture of tacos was blocking the information and tap sections when confirming my emil. We ordered from somewhere else.
Scam Taco
Scam Taco uses Apple ID to sign but bypass it by forcing you to use your real email. Well, nope. I will not purchase Del Taco and will trash talk it to everyone.
Terrible
I’ve used the app 3 times and all 3 times I never got a notification that my food was ready or that I can pick it up. If I could give it no stars I would. I’m never using the app again and I would recommend you go into the restaurant.

Still can’t enter receipt in app. Any plans on fixing this? Junk.

Grilled chicken taco
Two updates ago (to the App); you removed the option to order “hard shell” to the taco. It’s a waste of my time and it’s a waste of time for your employees to have order a hard shell chicken taco over the speaker in drive thru. Cannot order a grilled chicken taco HARD SHELL thru your App because you removed that option for HARD SHELL. You deserve the low rating.
Maybe I’ll try again in another 6 months.
This app has been garbage for months. I submit my order and it says my payment was declined (despite there being plenty of money in my account). So I go to “add a new card,” add the SAME EXACT CARD, and it goes through. I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded it, tried other cards, etc… The same thing has been happening to my mom (different DT accounts and payment info). Last time, I re-downloaded the app (after months of it being deleted), it did the same thing, and I decided any other fast food was a better idea. Idk why some places still don’t have Apple Pay but there’s nothing convenient about ordering on the Del Taco app.
Annoying Af
The second that you hit the back button, the entire order gets erased. Trying to add a promo or an offer is like trying to solve a Rubik’s cube. Try to redeem something for one free snack taco added the snack taco to my bag and it’s still said it wasn’t eligible. The payment method situation is a mess and the app always takes forever to load. I’ll just go to Taco Bell.
One of the worst food apps
Lots of problems but the worst is just trying to customize something. There’s no way to tell what already comes on an item. Idiotic frankly. Very surprising considering how great most other food apps are.

My wife and daughter started going to Del Taco. We tried to download the app, and it never sent confirmation emails when we tried to sign up with “sign in with Apple”.
Then, the one thing my daughter orders that you can order at the window, isn’t even on the menu in the app. All she wants is a side of chili.

An Embarrassment in UX
I can't even review the app properly because I'm stuck in a loop of verifying my email. It's really cool how you value selling my information over just getting money for services provided.

I always use online ordering but for del taco I think they should hire better team for development because there login is worst so far and coupons doesn’t help anymore

The terms of their loyalty program are not being honored
I have achieved epic status on their loyalty program, but have never received the free epic burrito I’m supposed to get every quarter. I have sent multiple messages and called Del Taco’s corporate office, they have not helped. Total scam.

App was working around the winter time for me now all of the sudden my card was getting declined and when I try and see what cards I have in my account and it no longer has my card saved and doesn’t let me add a card. It’s super laggy and they should allow Apple Pay in the app. It’s odd that every app has that but this one.

I cannot log in no matter what I try. Anywhere. I’ll go to Taco Bell instead. Their app is better and easier. Thanks for nothing, Del Taco! Get a better app.

Jumbo shrimp, Bogo tacos
I took the app in to get my Bogo shrimp taco and the girl behind the register did not know what she was doing. Unfortunately there’s a manager here, but she’s too busy in the kitchen to try to help. I don’t recommend this Del Taco simply because the service is awful. Frankly, they’re not very people oriented. I used to come here a couple years ago when things were different, things were better things were organized, and the people knew what the hell they were doing!
Deleted App after DL
I tried to get the verification email for 10 min… sure I got a spam email for 20% off immediately - but the email verification email is broken - so I will just got to Taco Bell or McDs (their apps work). Why email verification - do text verification.

😖 The app!
I have only been to Del Taco a couple times and thought I would use the app this second time 🤧 I have never experienced such a clunky app from a mainstream restaurant. If you even venture away from the app even for a few mins the cart is emptied and you have to start all over again. There’s no way to pay except entering payment details manually, it’s 2026 Apple and Android pay should be baked into the app. Then there’s the way the app chooses the local locations 🥴

Took my money twice
Don’t bother using this app. I’ve used it multiple times and twice they’ve cancelled my order and never gave me my money back for that cancelled order. It’s been two weeks and still nothing. When I finally got an order, there were things always missing from that order. So yeah I’m never using this app ever again. I would recommend not using it either other than for the points and coupons but that’s it.
Del Taco App
This app is trash!! It continues to try to add offers I did not select and will not allow me to check out. Please have your programmers get their act together!!!
