Log in issue
Not sure what’s going on but log in seems to be so difficult. Repeatedly stating that email is already in use. Whenever I try to retrieve or reset my password no email is sent.

How to Delete Account
This app has been around for several years now. Lots of comments on how there is no way to delete your account. I want to delete my account - how do I do that!
Too many notifications
I don’t need three or four notifications every day
Cannot log in
Cannot log in. Tired “Forgot” password many times over but it never emails me the reset. Cannot use the app. Will have to delete. Waste of time.
App doesn’t work
Don’t waste your time. Take pictures of labels only works 10% of the time.
Privacy issues
At no point I was made aware my profile was public. The next thing I know was a Google search with my full name, two bottles of wine, as the top 3 result.
There was no option to make private or delete my profile on the website. And I had to download the app just to make my profile private. However, I am still not able to remove my information entirely.

Lost opportunity
Used to recommend this app to everyone and share experiences, however needing to find a way to make this platform understandably profitable ruined it. I had to move all my selection to Vivino because it’s free and I can actually order from the app they make money - everyone wins.
No way to disable profile/account
There doesn’t seem to be a way to disable or delete one’s profile. I haven’t used this app for several years and would just like to be able to delete my profile.

You cannot close your account
I tried the app and it wasn’t for me, so I decided to delete my account. Turns out it’s impossible. You can sign out, but no option to close my account. I read the terms and conditions and there is nothing. I emailed them days ago and never heard back. Signing out and deleting the app is not the same as closing an account!
Never again,
I placed an order with your company on February 9th 2022. Was told that it would be delivered to me by February 13th 2022. And because of FedEx service! I just received my order today. And there is ice inside the bottle as well. I have spent over (4 Hours!) just trying to get this package delivered from FedEx.
I will not ever again order anything from your Company because of this.

Why is this app now useless?
Used to be my go to app for all things wine. Lately, I’ve been unable to log in or reset my password in order to log in. Frustrating.

Not updated frequently; incorrect wine shown when searching
App is really not worth using. Taking photos only shows other wines by the same maker and NEVER the correct wine. Any wines added to your profile show up 4-6 months later after making a post. Clearly app developers don’t care about the app. Would not waste my time with this app
Sometimes it functions and quite often it doesn’t.
Delectable as a whole in theory is a great wine social media concept. However, the execution of their code writers, making necessary updates, as well as, investment capital all seem to lack in the app running correctly. If your banking or airline app functioned as poorly as Delectable does on most days, you would switch banks and ditch the airline.

Now Infested with Hacked Accounts
Over the last 2 weeks I’m now noticing a bunch of “Likes” from clearly compromised/hacked accounts where the user name has a suspicious URL. The goal appears to be comment spam to convince duplicitous users to click on the links. Delectable needs to implement some basic input validation and filtering to remove these hacked accounts. If I don’t see the problem addressed, I’m going to report this app to Apple.

Horrible customer service. The site is infested with spam users. No response to this and somehow my premium subscription got turned on and now I can’t turn it off. Rip off artists!!!!
Bait and switch. Where are pro ratings?
I paid for the subscription for one reason only: to be able to click on “pro ratings“ and see professional ratings for the wine that I had a photo of. But the app doesn’t do that. Instead, all that comes up for every wine is the ratings by regular schmucks which I can get anywhere for free. Pressing on where it says pro ratings doesn’t do anything.
Not user friendly
I added wine and review that I want only for me. I open app, wine is there and my review is nowhere. Why all this app are working based on social media, nothing different.

Was a great, pure and interesting platform. Since Vinous bought and monetized the app, it’s become less user-friendly and more laden with glitches.

Why can’t I rate the wine below 6.1/10?
Just downloaded this tonight and wanted to rate the wine I’m drinking. I was surprised it was rated at 8.6/10 until I tried to rate it myself. I think the wine is ok, drinkable but nothing special. I think it is 5 or 6/10. But according to this app a rating of 6.1 is gross (yuck face emoji) and a rating below that is impossible to give.
What’s up with that?
Why not just rate wines on a 0.1 - 4.0 scale if that is effectively what you are going to offer us?

Constant Errors
Every time I search in the app I get bombarded with errors messages. It’s very frustrating to navigate. I tried to send feedback but even I get error messages there. Delectable, I am happy to send a screen recording of this so you can see.
Keep getting 500 code error

Details not working
Just downloaded and the first two actions I tried didn’t work. 1. Tried to look at the wine price of the wine that was traced from my photo (as the button claimed it could do).... just spinning wheel. 2. Tried to make a comment on my uploaded wine photo (as the comment icon was meant to do) and got an error. I guess this app is old and unsupported now! Such a shame, it was just what I’ve been looking for...

App support is lacking
Half the wines in my activity disappeared one day. I emailed support to see if they could be retrieved and received no response. Frequently, wines that I scan are not in the database. They used to add them when you selected to add an expert review. Now, when you do so, the wines just disappear from your activity after a few days.
No reply to requests for support
Asked for help with searching my library. Search used to work but hasn’t for over a year despite updating to most recent version. Sent three emails over the course of a year requesting help but no replies. Pretty useless for tracking past wines if unable to search library.
Spam users
Unfortunately the spam users have taken over the app. I can’t get a response from customer service on this issue. If they would help clean this up, the app would still be worthwhile.
Decent
I have had so many issues with trying to search for a wine when snapping a picture of the label. It seems to be able to find the wine a little over half the time even though I am always sure to take good, clear photos of wine that is generally pretty popular. I like the ability to log it but I wish it functioned more like Untapped does for beer. So many great features.
Ratings do not present an effective scaling
I would like a rating scale that goes aver a full 10 point spread. The scale on this app that goes up to 10 but not down to 1 gives a poor sense of my actual rankings for person tastes
