Bas service
They called me twice to inform me that the driver couldnt carry the items in his vihcle. They asked me to go to help to discard the items because the driver can not carry them. When I asked to provide another driver , they said that they can not do that. If the items can not be carried then please do not put them in the display . People doesnt like to get credited because the company cant deliver. It is very upsetting.
Never using this app again
Terrible customer service, they don’t value their customers or bother to respond to email queries regarding refunds.

The app literally just says “oops there was an issue” everytime I try to place any orders. Just use a different food delivery app this isn’t good

customer service that HATES their customers
I have never experienced such disdain for customers. I ordered something that was supposed to take 30 minutes. After 90 minutes had gone, I asked if they could just cancel the order. The customer service team kept stalling (please wait while i check. i am still checking. i’m checking. forwarding this to a manager. i’m still checking).
Finally two hours in a completely wrong order gets to delivered to me and Surprise! they can’t do anything now because it was delivered! Funny how stalling works?
I sent a picture of what I received and asked for a refund. “please send another photo” sent another one. “please send another photo again” “sorry we can’t do anything without more photos”
I ordered at 10:30. eta was 11. Finally at 1:20 they agreed to refund my money.

They offered a welcome AED 50 for the following first order, they didn’t redeem it to me!, however, when I tried to communicate with Deliveroo admin, I was really surprised with their bad reply and coordination, ended with waisting my time with communication with them for no result!

Ordered food through this app from African Tasty Foodies”. Waited for 2 hours and no call no show. I called the supposedly restaurant and they lied and said they were on their way. I called back an hour later and no one answered. What a WASTE! You all are pathetic! And “Deliveroo” really needs to hold restaurants like this accountable which they are not. I should’ve used “Uber Eats”!

Used to be good
It used to be a reliable app . Lately I have had a lot of problems with deliveries . Drivers appear to steal the food . You follow the arrival on the app, from one second to another the status changes to “delivered”, yet there was no doorbell ring , nothing . The picture provided is photo of the bag on the street. But when you go outside same minute, there is nothing . Order vanished , though no people on the street . Problems with delivery two days in a row . I order more then once a day . But it is frustrating because “re-delivery” takes 1,5 hrs . I d say my personal stats is 3 times out of 10 you going to have an issue and have to deal with it . 7/10 you will be find . Can’t give high star rating . Come up with system that controls drivers .

Horrendous Customer Service
My girlfriend placed an order for dinner which had missing items. There was no reimbursement and instead it had to be escalated to the “global resolutions team” for investigation. I then placed an order for myself since my dinner was what was missing and it never arrived. Support was unhelpful with both issues and frankly, the customer service standards are far below similar apps (not just the big ones like uber eats but also more local/regional apps like smood and talabat).
Garbage
Don’t bother with this app. Tried delivering something for my partner in London and somehow a closed restaurant accepted it. Wasted their drivers time because even though I contacted support 2 times, none of them could cancel the order. 4 hours later, the driver dropped it off at the wrong place. I contacted support again, and guess what? They can’t refund me for a delivery that never arrived AND took 4 hours to “deliver”. Ridiculous

Expensive shipping fees PLUS app fees. Plus if you dont live in the city center you have very little choixe and shipping becomes 5-6€
Great restaurant options, but delivery time is was longer than all other food delivery apps!
Love that it has delivery for restaurants that other apps don’t have, however, their delivery time is always ridiculously longer than all the other food apps! For example, It took 45-60’ minutes to deliver 4 ginger tea’s, to my work place which is 10 min driver away.
Bad customer service
The driver took the order then he went to some other places for half an hour, then he came to me, so the food was very cold and when I reported that at the application I got 7 pounds out of 40 pounds that I paid for a cold food !! The worst service and the worst customer service ever !!
DONT ORDER
Ordered food and it was never delivered, I tried to use the help page and there was no option to getting money back or any sort of food/credit back. DO NOT USE!

It would be great if we could add a translation feature for the restaurants as well as an edit menu for restaurants to ask for certain things on and off the pizza.

Don’t trust!
Delivery driver stole a bag of food worth $80. I got 4/5 bags I was supposed to receive and the restaurant I ordered from confirmed they gave him 5 bags. Deliveroo got back to me 6 hours later asking for a picture of the food and the receipt next to it. Obviously the food we DID receive was eaten and gone and because of that Deliveroo wouldn’t compensate me. Being scammed for food is embarrassing and clearly the driver needed the food more than my coworkers and I so I hope he gets the karma that he deserves.
Stupid app with stupid algorithms
No idea how their algorithm works when calculating eta and selecting which customers or order to pickup and deliver first. I paid the subscription, premium everything, and order multiple times. Every time gives me a bad experience, the food is cold af when delivered. Definitely not going to use again, Uber Eats, hungry panda works way better
