Weird additions like none of the guardians looking like actual guardians. Things like removing character creation, instead forcing you to play as some goth E-girl or an Exo with hair when they never had hair in the games, let alone dreads… really takes you out of the experience and makes you laugh at how dumb it looks.
This is clearly a game created with that typical wildly outlandish over the top Asian influence. Truly an out of touch decision by the devs thinking they can manipulate this universe into whatever they want it to be. It just does not match up to what Destiny is and should be, it’s just silly.
I mean seriously, what’s up with these companies making mobile versions of their game like Destiny: Rising and The Division Resurgence that don’t look, play, feel, or narratively relate to the game it’s based on? It completely removes any charm the original game had and makes the gameplay feel objectively stale, therefore destroying any interest in it.
Really shows how far Bungie has fallen since Destiny 1, which is a phenomenal game.
Warframe on the other hand somehow ported their entire PC/console game to mobile, take notes.
There is a reason why Warframe is still standing and Destiny isn’t.
Do yourselves a favor and download Warframe instead, a game made by a passionate development team composed of real gamers who haven’t sold their soul & let greed consume their work.

From the graphic design to the voices in the game, the plagarism machine known as "generative AI" is clearly in use here. Stilted voices, people in pictures merging with the objects they're holding etc.
Worse is that these were claimed to be placeholders which would be removed BEFORE full release. If this company is willing to lie about that, and cut corners on this product, what else are they willing to lie to you about?

Deleted this game as soon as they announced destiny 2 support was being ended. Also, this game lost 97% of its revenue as soon as d2 ending was announced. We the gamers will not keep giving Bungie money

I have been playing this game since it’s released and I have to say that with this current season I would not recommend this game to anyone. Characters are grossly underpowered. It takes you forever to complete a mission on any level. All of the weapons suck this season they put out no damage. If you get hit twice by an enemy, you’re dead and the rewards and the amount of stuff it takes to level up your character is just not worth it anymore.

Tapping Buttons
Too many small buttons to tap which makes it less fun. Also, the game plays it for you rather than you playing the game yourself

I played for a while, made it to a mission called mine rescue. Then the screen is just white. That’s it. Enemies could still shoot me, I just could see anything. Super lame
Destroyed their own game
So season 4 has just begin and NetEase has decided to remove almost EVERYTHING that all of the players have worked for since launch day. No more power rankings, artifacts are no longer account based are are now single character only, all the high end content has been removed and replaced with the most tedious grinding I have ever seen, and best of all even the whales have had their “ranking” removed and replaced with a pointless “season level”…..way to ruin your own game guys. You won’t be getting anymore money from me.
Sucky jumps
This game sucks and is frustration with the jumps. Only character that jumps right is wolf . Which kinda makes you not want to play honestly I’m writing a review so they can fix it’s a big deal especially when you have to swap characters during story. I would give it a good review based on graphics but gameplay is trash and that just being honest . Need to fix the jumps then maybe game would be better.

I was loving this game (except how you;re forced to use specific weapons with characters and specific characters for missions). Now they’ve taken a bad page from Destiny 2 devs. Logging in for the new season, I’m having to redo things I’ve already done. That shouldn’t be happening. All my characters are lower level than they were just days ago. Huge mistake on the devs part. That’s a big portion of why people became tired of Destiny 2; we were constantly losing power, weapons, etc., just to make people grind. It felt like a job instead of a hobby. Big mistake on the devs of Rising;s part.

Impossible to tier up
They make it impossible to tier up without paying for upgrades. It’s ridiculous that you have to spend actual money to get anything good. I’ve been trying to tier up to level 15 for over a month. They make the requirements ridiculously impossible with standard gear. Good weapons have to be bought with actual money, making it unfair for those who can’t afford to buy premium products.

I have played destiny from beginning to now. I’m now a father with limited time to play so the mobile version is what I prefer. However there’s zero updates for actually multplayer pvp. I’ve stopped playing until significant update comes into play. If no improvement comes there, then it’s just a gacha game…..

Zero no content added
There are so many things I can say. But first and foremost the game is great the first 3-4 months and then has really gone down hill. You can only play two different characters in every activity to be competitive and they aren’t available to buy anymore. To fully level a character you have to pay $100 to for sure get a copy and you need 6. I’m not paying $600 every month to full maximize a character to only use them on the same strike for calamity ops, grandmaster and the cordon game modes. Probably the last netease game I’ll ever play. You guys don’t realize how much money you are missing out on by not tweaking the costs of silver and not rotating around different characters. I have ideas for days but I doubt you’ll ever want to hear about them. This game has so much potential and you guys are wasting it away.

The game is good, but you don’t really need to have perfect character 76k ,raids is the best content in destiny and your character gets nerf so you don’t need to spend money in the game. You don’t need to have full abilities you don’t need to have fully upgraded weapons. You only need the character and that’s disappointing because in the two day gaps that you have to do the raid it like insane you want your character at fullest why nerf it and another thing people need to eat people need to work People need to take care of the families.

No more Gwynn
I just started playing yesterday & found out that it’s impossible to get any of the characters I want even if I am willing to pay there’s no way to get them so lame

First of all from a gameplay perspective this game is amazing 10/10. BUT the GREED, communication, and decisions NetEase has made has cratered the player base in less than 6 months this game is a shell of what it was in the first two months. It’s a gatcha and they lean HARD into that. The entire game power creeps every months like I’ve never seen before. They constantly release global events in th middle of the night or early morning when most of the server has already logged off and gone to bed. I hope they can save this game because aside from what I’ve mentioned. It really feels like destiny.
Story locked from failed tutorials tryouts
Couldn’t advance to storyline without finishing complicated tutorials, I even had to look at how it’s done, keeps failing and I really want to finish the fascinating storyline without getting locked to tutorials. It disappointed me a lot.
Cash Grab, Then Abandon you
NetEase took my money for monthly passes paid in advance and then abandoned the game. No updates, no communication, no refunds. Their games had potential, but the developers clearly walked away after cashing in.

Needs more PVP
Great game great got graphics, but it is PVE like two small side modes for PVP that are casual and not competitive, which makes the PvE grind seem pointless. More PVP modes with a competitive aspect would make the game better and I would play it more and spend more money on it, but I can see myself quitting soon even though it just came out since I’ve done everything.

Game was pretty great until the most recent update. After essentially resetting the progress of most the user base, people dropped off, now I can’t even find a match
Downright lazy
Uses poor AI voice acting and animations are eyesores. Doesn’t hold a candle to the quality of the original games, in quality or gameplay.

Seems generic
Story feels like any other story, nothing special. Combat might be fun but auto-aim so… not very challenging. Feels like this is geared toward 10 and under audience.
3rd person mid tier game
This is not the destiny game you are looking for, it’s not the original, it’s not destiny 2. Even with a controller connected it does not play or feel like a destiny franchise. It works on a phone, it’s a game on a phone, but I just have standards of when something is released and promoted to be one thing and it’s just not what you would expect. I wish this dev luck in their upcoming releases, but this one is not the game for me.
Honestly the team should have just ported all the game assets from Destiny 1 into an engine and resized the resolution to fit the iPhone resolution, do some ui tweaks and make the iPhone run a server for friends to connect to or have it connect to a main server for the devs to operate. However this game is not that. I’m glad it was free because there is no way I would pay for something like this.
