Dilmil could be so much better but it’s honestly frustrating to use. I had 2 likes sitting there for almost 2 months and the app doesn’t even show names or give you a way to narrow it down. I tried changing filters, swiping through 100+ profiles and still nothing. What’s worse is the app starts lagging, crashes randomly, and even froze my phone a couple times.
It really just feels like they’re baiting you to pay for premium. And $500 for 3 months of concierge is crazy. Why would anyone pay that when the basic app doesn’t even work properly? Honestly, even if I don’t get matches on Hinge, I’d still pay for premium there and use it way more than Dilmil.

They ask for your ID and pictures to verify if you are real or not after charging you?? If you are that loyal to your Customers, why don’t you ask for marriage and divorce certificate, child custody certificate, and bank balance history as well because people lie about that as well ??? And why do I need to prove you anything?? The person who I am dating is capable enough to find out about me. And if verification is that important, why not do it before you charge the customer??

Been having the app for 2 years. Hardly any matches despite paying subscription and boosted several times.
The app is extremely slow to load as well as freezes up very often.

One of the worst dating app. Consistently glitches, matches are always super far away. And all the premium features are ridiculous priced.
Worst Customer Service
You’ll buy a discounted plan, then your card will be charged for the full amount. Apple will tell you to go to the provider and then customer service will say go to apple. Corporate BS. Dont get overwhelmed when random bots will like u.

Love the intro to this app it says “don’t settle” which always reminds me to not buy the subscription plan 😂😂 thank you!!!
Extremely useless app
This app is extremely frustrating to use. The algorithm doesn’t seem to respect user preferences or choices, which makes the experience feel pointless. They will only recommend one specific community people only. On top of that customer support is very disappointing since there is no live assistance and responses are slow and inconsistent. Overall not good experience at all.
This app is unusable.
Every few swipes I have to restart it because the app locks up and freezes my phone. With no other app do I have this issue. Today I could not swipe or check my chats or anything else once the app opened. I closed all other apps, restarted the app four times, and still could not load anything without immediate app freeze - any of the four times. Please fix this. I know several people who have the same issue with this app.

Glitchiest app I’ve ever used. Dil mil needs more competitors. It’s embarrassing that such technologically capable South Asians rely on this for a dating app. Customer service is an absolute joke as well.

Don’t waste your money , there aren’t much users . I swiped for an hour and there were no users left in the county ( U.S) . I paid a subscription thinking this app would be worth it . I emailed after an hour notifying them that my purchase didn’t make sense to me and request a refund . They denied and suggested giving boost or superlike . They have no common sense . Who would I super like or boost for if no other users is left ?
Distance Filter Needed - So matches are too far away.
I’m not sure why but this app doesn’t show matches that are nearby (like neighboring states). For example, if I’m in Vegas. I should be able to adjust the radius I am comfortable traveling and meeting people (such as 25 miles) but this app doesn’t give you that option or even have that feature. The lack of this feature makes it difficult to plan in person dates after getting to know someone and also makes it difficult to get comfortable with someone to lead to a date. Sometimes the matches I get are on the other end of the country. It’s also disappointing that they charge so much for VIP but don’t even give you extra feature or even option to narrow down distance for dating. Like it seems like a rip off.

I don’t understand why the app lags all the time. What is so difficult to fix this bug. It’s been there since a year. You can’t even swipe properly. The app crashes all the time.

The app has been flooded with cryptocurrency scammers, and despite reporting such profiles - i see no action being taken against them.

By far the worst online dating app out there. Besides the poor, rather non-existent geographical profile search capabilities; the app is full of scammers and catfishing. I have made more than 15 matches, most of which have ended up selling me crypto or other investments. Using add-ons like boosts only brings more fake profile likes. This is tremendously frustrating and emotionally draining. I can sense and reject most fake profiles as they have similar patterns (e.g. Vegetarian that likes sushi or BBQ????). 3 profiles with same pictures, different bios. If I am able spot fake profiles right away, why can’t Dil Mil’s verification algo? At this scale, I fear for the security of my personal data and information.

Appreciate the app however, I’m confused why I keep seeing the same people multiple times despite swiping left on them. I have experienced this many times and I’ve seen the same profiles the next day even after swiping left on them. I’d appreciate a fix on this to get a better user experience.

I had high expectations for Dil Mil, especially after paying for VIP, but the experience has been a headache.
The number of advertisements is completely uncalled for, especially with a paid membership. If I’m paying for VIP, I shouldn’t feel like I’m using a free app when it comes to in app advertisements, even if it's for the app itself. It defeats the purpose of upgrading.
The app is also incredibly pushy. Every few swipes there’s another prompt trying to upsell some new “perk” or feature. It feels less like a dating app and more like a video game constantly pushing you to buy loot boxes. Instead of focusing on meaningful connections, the experience feels monetized and transactional.
Overall, it’s been very disappointing to pay for a premium experience and still feel like you’re being nickeland dimed. I expected better.

Another disappointing dating app. The “Request feature” is a total waste of money. You can send requests, but most people do not even read them.

The app is glitchy does not work properly does not yield good results and the customer service is terrible. It is very hard to get rid of and they tried to rig it so they automatically charge you if you’re not paying attention.

Massive Failure
Literally endless screens where they are begging users to not delete your profile if you don’t want to use it. They are begging people to stay on app and buy their subscriptions so that they keep funding this app which is a massive failure and straight up scam and embarrassment. There needs to be a new app where people can actually meet people not bots. What a joke this app actually is. Especially customer service team extremely unkind, typical dismissive customer service no wonder they have all these paid reviews posted by themselves.

Complete Trash
I bought the 6 month plan and exhausted the app in 4 days. Most profiles are fake and they market saying you have likes. Which are all fake likes. Worthless and waste of time and money
Money grab dating app
This app this trash I have had 10+ likes to be matched with but only get 5-10 free swipes a day and never get any of the “likes on my profiles” until I pay for the subscription to skip the process🤣 maybe it’s just me but that’s my experience. Not going to pay these absurd subscriptions to see who likes me 💀
Garbage app
App is garbage. You could post all kinds of subscriptions and they will still match you with someone 500 miles away if not on another continent. I used it for a year matched with some people but never someone who was within 300 miles of me

I have over 99+ likes however based on my filters, I ran out of people to like so where are the people that liked me? Last time I paid for the premium version it wasn’t worth it. all the people that liked me were people outside of my filters so it was pointless to pay.

App crashes on me every minute! Literally have to reopen it. Reached out to support and no help. I got the paid version and after 5 minutes, I wanted a refund but seems like no one is responding. I’d say, save your time and go to Hinge or something else.

Once your subscription runs out, you magically start to get hidden likes. Then you have to subscribe again to see the hidden lakes. During the entire subscription, likes are scarce.

They advertised me 25% off deal and when I paid using apple pay I got charged non-discounted amount. When I talked to the customer care, they refused to take the responsibility for the wrong advertising. Poor customer service.

App says I have 99+ likes yet I only get 2-3 matches per month if I swipe daily. It’s intentionally gatekeeping those users from me because I am not a paid user. For this reason I will never pay for this app.

This app works similarly to most other dating apps despite claiming to focus on real connections except for the fact that they absolutely refuse to show you the people who swiped right on you. In your messages tab, it shows you how many potential matches you have, and you can swipe and swipe and swipe for days, they will never show those people to you. I can only assume the intent is to make you pay for premium features. Why would I start paying you if I already feel like your app is useless? Also, they seem to have a strong preference for long distance. I selected the setting to show me people near my location, but it mostly shows people across the country. I’m sorry but I’m not flying to the opposite coast for a first date. My bank account isn’t set up that way, don’t be classist lol. I really wish this app was better, I have a harder time meeting like minded south Asians in my area, so I usually end up dating out of my race. I’d love to find my soul mate and make momma proud at the same time. Fix your algorithm, it’s not accomplishing what you think it is.

This app is very unstable, logs out randomly, doesn’t save the profile information. Its dating algorithm is plain trash. The only reason this app is on market because lot of profiles think they will get lucky but this app is designed to keep you single.
