I paid to renew my number, but I received an auto-reply saying, “We’re sorry that the number is occupied.” My Austrian number expired on June 12, and I had 10 days to reclaim it. This is unacceptable, and I want it resolved. What's going on? Please fix it or refund me so I can take my business elsewhere. There was no way to contact customer service. The same thing happened three months ago, and I had to get a new number. Please fix this now.

They will steal your money, apparently
It claims 839 is not a valid area code. It is. And it is mine. A request for a refund was denied by Apple even though I could never even log in to the service to make an account. I received an email from their dev team telling me to email their customer service. I did. Two weeks ago. I've heard nothing. Al.ost a month ago I paid for a service I never received without reimbursement. This is the very definition of theft. You're thieves.

You guys said a text message cost 0.5 credit but in reality it costs like 5 credit per messages. I need explanation, this is too expensive

I’ve been trying to make a phone call the app doesn’t even let me dial a phone number, each time l need to make a phone call l encounter a different problem… no appearant customer SVC when in crisis either

Text not working
They give me whatever called “30 credit points “ but didn’t even send a text message! , then I paid purchased about $5.50 = 200 points nevertheless I am still not able to receive a single text message, no phone support! And I sent support email they gets back after 2 days asking me more information about the number I am trying to text…. Now after 2 more days,[ I have received email saying ‘ we sent your request for special assistance] for sure my $5.50 worth of points has gone.

At first it worked well .. now it doesn’t no response whatsoever no matter how many inquiries you send .. they charge you and the app doesn’t work call failed all the time error code 420 . My next step is to file a state complaint because the least they can do is respond and fix the problem

Fed up and annoyed
I have sent emails multiple times about the same issue that I am having and have been having for months only to be told oh we can’t help you unless you contact us directly through the app well every time I try to contact you through the app I get the same damn error message so now I guess the issue will never be resolved and the creators of this app can just sit back and laugh while users get frustrated because they can’t get problems resolved in order to be able to use the app correctly.
App doesn’t change your phone number
Whole point is that your number doesn’t show up when you call someone. But they make you link your phone number and the calls come up as you anyway.
Keep errors
I’ve been using Dingtone for more than two years. Have you recently noticed it has a lot of issues? One issue is that it keeps disconnecting or connecting to someone else’s number. Another problem is that when I try to press the numbers, it doesn’t work. I have to delete the app, update it, or reinstall it. When I talk with someone on the phone, it keeps disconnecting. I paid for this app, and I don’t know if all these errors need to be fixed. Otherwise, we’re just wasting time and money.

I can’t find the international calling rates
I tried a call to a US number for about 2 minutes. I found it cost me 20+ credits.

Before downloading this app I went on google and it said it whatsapp supported and now me checking there now I got the number and paid for it I even paid for a year now whatsapp is saying the number is not a verified number
Unreliable service
For the past few days I’ve tried to call my Dingtone phone from multiple numbers to see if my voicemail greeting is set up. The rings sound very distorted and choppy and then the call is dropped without being able to answer, nor does it go to voicemail. I also get no alert on my phone that a call was even attempted. How can I use this for business if the calls don’t go through?

Uso dingtone desde hace muchos años, al principio todo fue de maravilla hasta que en los últimos 2 o 3 años empezaron los problemas. No recibía textos, mi número ya no aparece en la app y no es posible bloquear llamadas. Recibo decenas de llamadas diarias de marketing, toda una pesadilla. He escrito a soporte pero ni contestan.

I am writing this review to warn others about a severe issue with fraudulent charges. This app charged my iTunes account for a phone number that was never delivered. The transaction showed an "error," yet the full amount was immediately deducted from my payment method.
Furthermore, any credit you purchase within the app seems to be at high risk. I experienced my credit balance being drained overnight without any usage on my part. The service is unreliable, but their billing system is far too effective at taking money.
This is a serious pattern of behavior that warrants investigation by the Apple team. I feel completely scammed and would never recommend this app to anyone.

Issue with my dingtone
This is my first time of using Dingtone with a good recommendation from a friend, but I got disappointed with the app, because I the number I bought from dingtone, my friends are not seeing my text while I’m not receiving their messages as well
