So I’m not here to rant I just want others to know watch out for the hidden fees. When you first sign up and get your rates, that price will steadily go up over each payment due. Cannot recommend this company to anyone. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I’ve tried to download the Direct auto app 3 times and it will not recognize my email. There’s also changes I wanna make to my policy. It also jumped in price suddenly. The policy is in Force and I’ve recently HAD made a payment on the phone with an agent. It’s either not recognizing my email or policy number. Or Both. 🤷🏻♂️. If I can’t use the app I’m not sure I wanna stay with them.
The app sucks
Can’t log in at all. Can’t even log in online. Can’t pay my bill unless I call and half the time that doesn’t work either. I will be looking for a new insurance company soon
Hands down worst customer service
Since this seems to be my last effort at getting someone to answer me. If you even car slightly about customer service this is not the company for you. Absolutely no way to talk to an actual person that lives in the United States. You’ll get transferred. Sit on hold for an hour. Then the call will hang up. Never have a had an insurance company that makes you talk to someone to edit your policy. Even if you find a local location and call that number it transfers you right back to a 20 question robot and sends your call right back to a call center. As soon as my policy is up I’m leaving this garbage company. Do yourself a favor and go with literally any other company.
This app is trash
It never works correctly. I can never sign into my account. Customer service is weak, I’ve left many comments and notes with them to update this app to be more user friendly and it’s been over a year. Better off having nothing
You’re killing me!
Your site was never great but now I cannot update and make payments! You have a ridiculously long password requirement and the app was at least a less problematic way to get into my accounts. Even though I cannot select a future date to post payment. I shouldn’t meet to buy a new I phone for $2000 to use the app! If that’s the case I might as well shop for a new insurance company.
Bugged website + app
Never loads right, all I want to do is get my insurance cards sent to my email and I can't even do that. Nobody cares to fix the app or the website. Just find a different insurance.
BIAS ON WORKER
they are so bias on worker they dont care if we cant get insurance for avoid laws they dont help worker who do deliver driver dont use this if you are delivery driver or self employed, GOODBYE I HOPE THIS COMPANY SHUT DOWN
Unusable.
Every time I try to login it gives me an error. Can’t even use the app. They need to go in and fix it. They wanna charge you extra just for calling in and paying it like it’s such hard work for them to talk on a phone and type numbers and letters into a computer. Bless your hearts, smh.
This is NOT an app
This is a redirect to a web site it is a waste of space and makes it 10 times harder to login. It’s is the worst app I have ever used and I use the # 1 worst app ever day, MHELPDESK, and this is completely changes that now. JUNCK, TRASH, WASTE OF TIME
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Avoid direct auto insurance company, an extremely unprofessional company that’ll pocket your monthly payment then cancel your policy several days after the fact over a “Proof of Residency” issue. Avoid at all costs unless you’d like to deal with thieves posing as a “business”.
Make logging in easier
There’s no need for a tab to pop out just to sign in , for that i could just use safari to sign in instead of having an app. Just make it easier to log in without an extra tab popping up

Hello guys don’t insure with this company they changed my bill from 160$ to 328$ and the customer service is so bad no a helpful and when I cancel the policy and changed the company they charged me 328$
Worthless app
You can’t do anything in the app. Complete waste of time, can’t see payment methods, can’t make changes. I deleted it. This is only a negative review of the app itself
WORST APP EVER
decent company beside half of the employees share the same brain cell. And the app is horrible absolutely worst app I’ve ever experienced in my life👎🏼
App doesn’t work AT ALL
I can’t do anything on the app. I wasn’t even able to register let alone using quick pay to make a payment.
Bad all around
The app keeps saying unable to load. The website is the same. Cannot view my account or see any payments coming up. The only way to access my account is calling and going through all the prompts. It is very frustrating and inconvenient. Please fix this!!!!

Ok
I love DirectAuto the team and everything are absolutely phenomenal. However, their app is absolute trash. Do not use your app to call Roadside Assistance because otherwise your app will just be useless like mine because it will forever say that you have Roadside Assistance coming neither Roadside Assistance nor app nor DirectAuto can help Help fix it. And it blocks everything on the home screen.
Direct auto app
The app isn’t bad. Unlike certain other apps this one has not failed me yet to where I have to use and internet browser instead. You can make a payment on there but as for adjusting your account and policy you can’t do any of that unfortunately which isn’t great but at least you can use it to make payments and have your information handy at all times.
Log in
It won’t let me login to the mobile app or the website. This has been going on for a while now. But they faithfully take my money every month.
Too many errors
You people need to do some app and website maintenance. It does not let me log in to post payment anywhere.
Glitchy app
I’ve had this insurance for over a year and had to request roadside assistance one time. The one time I did this was probably 8-9 months ago. Ever since then, there has been a glitch where my roadside assistance status stays on my homepage, blocking me from seeing anything (even though this request has been closed for a long time). I’ve tried logging out, deleting and redownloading the app, but nothing works. All the other pages within the app work fine, it’s just the homepage is completely frozen.
Prices hiked
I’m actively looking for another car insurance company. The prices have spiked in a matter of months. I was paying $160, then in December, it went up to $245 and in January, it’s $286. No reason for hiking it up except that I’m sure the agents, must use it as commission. Never again!!
