This app is just working properly. Discovery instead of having multiple apps that are not functioning properly, please just fix one and have it sync the data. You recently added sleep data but that is not syncing as well. And before you tell me that I need to link my devices, sleep and active data was syncing and then stopped. It's ridiculous honestly. Really disappointed. This used to work. Stop adding stuff and breaking what used to work…
Zero customer support
Anytime I try to resolve something they come up with excuses. I pay a premium for a service that is well below par for a company of their size. Do better and invest some money in some logical thinking. Idiots.
WORST APP EVER!!!
Terrible consumer experience! Unusable, glitches constantly, fails to upload data, prompts do not work! How can such a massive company, with billions not make an app??? DO BETTER!!!

Do Discovery not test their own app? Latest version released a week ago, and after authentication with username / password it crashes. Restart -> asks to enable Face ID -> crashes. iPhone 17 Pro with the latest version of iOS. Embarrassingly bad engineering.

Can’t login
It’s been 3 months of terrible login experience. Given what I pay for all my insurance , I can’t believe this is still an issue. I would actually leave Discovery.
F’ng Useless
Discovery are the administrator for my medical aid. The app is promoted on the company page for medical aid.
This app is about the Discovery Vitality program and is as useful as a bicycle for a fish as far as medical aid admin is concerned.

The app never links my exercise to reach me weekly goals.
App Integration is not great at all.
The integration between the medical aid app and the banking app is not great at all. Why move active rewards to a banking app. Reward shows on the medical app but cannot claim as it’s not visible on the banking app. Turn around time to solve the issue is another 3 - 5 days. Should of just kept the rewards separate to the banking app :(

Pathetic
Your app is not useable. Improve on your UX and UI. It never works when I need to access my Vitality account. It just hangs and doesn’t fetch any data. I’d rate this a -1 if it had that option. Please get better devs than Entellect

When I login the stupid app it tells me the password is wrong and then leaves me on a blank page which I can’t move from. I am so sick of Discovery, and guaranteed this message goes to a stupid robot. Get your acts together you poor customer handling people

Terrible app! So slow, the rewards system is often not working so I can’t redeem my rewards, interface not intuitive. Needs a lot of work!

Everytime I update your app I hope for the speed to be improved - but now it’s slower and more bugs/ can’t load some screens , the points don’t update correctly. When will you actually make an improvement on this app? Shocking for such a big company. I hate how slow your app is.

Same problem here . No issue with synchronizing before, now it fails all the time. Also get the error with login . Wish i had never updated the app in the first place.

Pathetic
The most pathetic and useless app when you need it. Takes forever and a decade to load, and majority of the times that you are in a shop and want to get a voucher, it just refuses to login even. Absolutely disgusted with it!!

Unhappy client
There are way too many mishaps and errors like workouts not being calculated and now my status not shown correctly. I’m on diamond but the app and website have me as a gold member from last Saturday

The app has too many floors and backend bugs. I’ve logged two calls with Vitality and a a month later they are still not resolved. Discovery, probably, you need to change your developers. The app is tainting your image. I shudder to think of the experience with your banking app!???
Cant log in or connect my device since update
On iOs13. Since the latest update, the app did not load any data, I deleted the app and reinstalled, upon load I cant log in to my discovery app anymore, whenever I select log in, the interface triggers the “Forgot password” link and I get redirected, the keyboard also shifts out of the screen which makes it very difficult to access, I luckily had keychain activated or I would not be able to enter my details at all. As a result of the failure to log in, I can not connect my fitness device either. Please assist or update the app as soon as possible.
Poor UI
The design of this app needs some TLC. It's confusing and doesn't make sense. Keep it simple!
Won’t let me log in
When I open the app, it asks me to log in but the on screen keyboard that the app brings up is too far to the right and I can only see the first 3 letters on the keyboard. The actual phone keyboard does not come up so I literally can no longer log in to the app🤬🙄
New user interface (again)
After 38 years of big corporate IT experience in applications development, I must say that the recent revamp of the UI is disastrous. It’s overly complicated/messy.
Does not read my activities!
Ever since I changed my health plan, the data from my Fitbit and Health app have not been reading. I have received 0 Vitality points in the last few weeks because it keeps having an error loading my activity points and has no section to easily contact Discovery about it. It just keeps saying try again.
Very bad app
I never write reviews but the developers of this app have done a shockingly bad job. Syncing with the health app is a nightmare!! With every sync you have to delink the health app close the app, relaunch and relink just to get your workout to sync. This was never a problem before and Discovery has no intention of fixing this issue, have complained numerous times. App repeatedly crashes when trying to open it. Tried deleting and reloading yet nothing works.

When it works (roughly 50% of the time you need it), this app is perfectly fine. It contains all your info and let’s you know what you need to know.
However, it is, overall, slow and buggy and very unreliable. A great frustration half the time, perfectly fine the other half.

Spam Notifications
This app sends marketing spam notifications once a week without the ability to opt out. Disabling notifications degrades the legitimate functionality of the app. Unfortunately Apple doesn’t allow you to report specific notifications for spam. Please stop doing this or give me a way to opt out! Also, the app support link takes you to a page where you can’t request support, only get quotes for more Discovery products!

Bad marketing.
Vitality open is a way to display the benefit of vitality to potential investors. However the app is terrible and filled with flaws and bugs. Terrible marketing on discovery’s side.

The Vitality Open is a complete waste of time. No follow up with queries emailed in despite the reply saying contact will be made within ‘48 hours’! Three weeks later and several emails later, still waiting!

This app is very slow to start of with.
