Never correct
The app is a good idea but the wait times are always wrong. Every time I used it the parks estimated wait times were actually correct. ALSO, after submitting 3 wait times that were longer than expected, the app quit letting me submit wait times. Convenient for them. Don’t waste $24 on this for nothing.
Waste of money now
The last time I went to Disney, I loved planning with this app. Now it is so buggy it’s useless.
After entering one plan for MK, that plan comes up for every other plan I attempt. I’ve deleted and added back and manually tried to adjust plans with the steps showing up until I save, then the MK steps show up every time.
I used to like being able to map the attractions across the park paths, but this has only been frustrating this time.
The crowd calendar times don’t match other crowd calendars. Simply useless now. A big shame.

Innacurate
Don’t trust the expected wait times in the app - they’re wildly inaccurate. I’ve been standing in line for an hour for a “25 minute expected wait,” and I’m still standing here with time to write this review. It’s been wrong my entire trip. Wasted my money on a membership. Be warned.
Not even close
We’ve been trying to use it all week and it is consistently not even close. We wait in the line for over an hour and it says it’s supposed to be 30 minutes rearranging your day according to this app will only hurt you.

Trying to Create Account - There Was a Problem
I’m trying to create an account and after entering a username, email address and password & confirming my password all I get in response is “There was a problem” with a simple option of choosing “Ok”. That is NOT helpful. Is my username already taken? Does the password require a special character? What the heck? How do I even know what to fix?
Sadly, not for the virtual queue era
I’ve belonged to Lines/touring plans for over a decade now. I love the forecasts, the custom plans…but they haven’t caught up to predict virtual queue time. So sadly, it seems like a relic.
Not worth it
This app is not user friendly, very inaccurate and seems outdated. Predicted wait times were never right and crowd levels weren’t either. The app itself freezes a lot too and I had to constantly close and go back in. Definitely a waste of money.
What happened?
I recently updated my app and now it’s not working. When I try to open the app it immediately closes. Please fix!! Love this app prior to this bad update.
disappointing
the unofficial guide was a great book, the app did not work for us at all, created very bizarre plans didn’t use after first hour of the day
Used to be great!
Used to love this app. Now super klunky and an unreliable pain for planning. Tech support did not respond to repeated issues.
Terrible predictions
Purchased from a recommendation from Bethany Vinton. Every prediction they gave was way off and terrible. 45 minute waits were 75. 36 minute waits were 70. I get it’s not confirmed and they are predictions, but this is literally why you buy the access on the app. Do not recommend and would not buy again due to the constant misinformation. Go with the Disney posted wait times.
Crashed Upon Download
App crashed the first time I tried to log in. Seems to be unable to accommodate plans for special holiday events. The plans are there but the system will not allow for activities to be entered after main park closures even when you check the boxes to indicate your are attending a special event. To create plans you have to toggle between the website and the app. Really inefficient. Used in the past and it was great. Don’t have high hopes for the accuracy of plan timing now that I’ve read other reviews. Looks like I wasted my money.
Poor app
I have used this app in the past and it worked well. This time it constantly froze, had inaccurate info, was of no help and a waste of money. Can’t give less than one star.
No longer accurate but still charging you for false information.
I have used this site since 2007. There was a time when their info was invaluable. Since the pandemic, they have no clue what they are doing. The predicted numbers are always wrong and they don’t seem to care. They still charge for that info. It’s basically a scam now. Pretty sad fall.
Free version crashes
If you try to use the free version by tapping Skip for Now on the first screen after login, the app crashes.
Super inaccurate and waste
Not accurate. Not helpful. Total disappointment.
Shady
I downloaded the free app. I hit subscribe (which I thought was for emails). I never entered any card info or anything, but then I get an email saying I was charged $17.95! Not great business.
Great concept but doesn’t work
Lots of rides were saying 10-20m in the app but we’re 40-60 in reality. Gave up and trying to figure out how to get my money back.
Keep glitching
I’m having issues. If I select 9am start, it shows 10am start, then when I click to optimize it shows I have a start time of 8:22pm selected and won’t route anything since it’s such a late start…. Help!
Crash city
App used to be great but nowadays all it does is crash. It is unusable in the current form
Wildly inaccurate
The crowd level estimations are extremely inaccurate. We were in Hollywood Studios on a day that was estimated to be a 4, and the crowds were very large. Normally I’d just chalk it up to the fact that, even though a 4 feels crowded to me, it’s nothing compared to a 10 just because I’m not in the parks every day. But we went back the the next day and the crowds were estimated to be an 8 and it was the exact same crowdedness as the day before! This happened several times during our trip. One day in Animal Kingdom, the line for Flights of Passage got up to 130 minutes, but this app estimated the crowd level at a 2 out of a 10. And walking around the park was horrible, it was shoulder-to-shoulder. I could understand if it was this inaccurate infrequently, but the app got it VERY wrong literally every day we were there.
Giant waste of money.
Doesn’t work worth a d@m.
One of my favorite apps however…
It currently keeps crashing! Can’t do anything without having it immediately crash. Please fix this :(
What Happened?!?!
Have used this app for years and always repurchased. New Update is AWFUL. Can’t even open without crashing multiple times. I’ve waited a few days to see if they ironed it out, unfortunately they haven’t. If they don’t repair soon I will have to cancel my subscription as it is absolutely useless.
New Update has ruined app
With the new update, this app will not open on my phone. This app was so useful our last trip. But now it crashes upon opening. Please fix!
App crashes
Since the update, the app is crashing upon opening and takes multiple tries to stay open.
Don’t even bother!
I thought this would’ve been a super cute app to keep track of falsely recorded line. Instead, you get ONE ride wait time per park and to see the rest of the times, you have to pay $18. Supposedly, this subscription is for a whole year but it’s not worth purchasing if you’re stay is a week or less. There is no way to modify purchasing for a smaller duration. Heavily disappointed.
Keeps crashing my phone and it didn’t fulfill the 10 day free trial
The app keeps crashing my phone every time I try to use it. It also went and charged me 17.99 while I was still in the free trial period (I got it today) horrible app and even worse response time from the developers/creators
Needs improvement
Countless times it doesn’t recognize my TP account. Buggy, glitchy and frustrating. I want it to work so bad. Please help make it better!!
unhappy
This app is so buggy and glitchy - the frustration is not worth it
Can’t make an account?
Having trouble making an account, keeps saying there is a problem but doesn’t tell my why or what to do to fix?
Would give zero stars
A complete waste of money, the line times have been wrong all week in magnitudes of 30+ minutes. The Disney app is far more accurate.
Inaccurate wait times
Not just off-wayyy off. I’d give this zero stars if I could. Can’t believe I paid for this. Just use the Disney app; the wait times are accurate. Used in June 2021, DisneyWorld.
Don’t bother
Don’t bother to download if you think you’ll get a “free app.”
Pretty much anything useful is blocked unless you pay a subscription fee.

Won’t let me create a profile
Every time I try to create a profile, it tells me “there was a problem”
But it doesn’t say what or how to fix it.
I don’t have a pre-existing profile.

Useless
This app used to be great. Second Disney trip within Covid timeframe and it has rendered useless. Ray Charles could guess how many M&M’S are in a jar more accurately. Can’t believe I paid for this.
Not as good as it used to be
I have used this app for years. It was a useful tool in planning my vacations. I just renewed and wish I hadn’t. The app is clunky, saves incorrect information (like start date and end date of vacation), gives option to attend parties but then freezes up and does nothing with that info. I get the feeling that no one cares behind the curtain anymore. This used to be a fun app with almost a cult following. Do not recommend and won’t renew again unless issues are addressed. 2 stars because it has been the most reliable crowd predictor. We shall see.
Great option… weird charge
I have loved using this app but after a little over a year and it’s cutting me off saying I need to pay another “one time fee” (I have paid it once before) I truthfully would pay it again cause I loved the app but just call it a year charge- would be a 5 star otherwise
No longer needed
I swore by this app 7 years ago. In our trip this past week over Spring Break / Easter week (i.e., peak crowds), it wasn’t needed and it didn’t work as expected when trying to use with genie plus and individual lightning lanes.
1. It was difficult to add in and change details on genie plus return times, individual lightning lane, and virtual queues. I never really figured this out so it made my plan for the day useless.
2. The plans didn’t include any real strategy for genie plus, individual lightning lanes, or virtual queues. I had to look elsewhere for detail on how to approach these for my family. I would have expected the plans would tell you exactly what to do so you could be ready at 7am to book each of these.
3. The best part of touring plans is the detail on the attractions and dining. This is all freely accessible on the website and does not connect into the app.
4. The Disney My Experience app worked really well and effectively replaces the need for Touring Plans Lines.

Disappointing
The times were inaccurate. The plan was difficult to modify on the phone. It didn’t update with the times and didn’t ever change when “optimized”. It seems like maybe this app was great several years ago and has potential, but I would definitely not buy this again and don’t recommend others buy it.
Very Deceiving
This app is good for planning but don’t expect these wait times at all. Especially in the morning, the wait times for planning were terrible. You can use this app for ride descriptions but don’t rely on it for projected wait times or when a ride will be back up and running.
Stick with Genie+
I had high hopes for this service, but it did not work with Genie+ as advertised. It was unable to build optimized plans around my Genie+ plans and times. On my recent trip I mainly stuck with the Disney app and this app was not worth the price.
Needs updating and a faster server
I recently went to WDW for the first time in almost 20 years for the 50th anniversary. I was determined to see and do everything and downloaded the app to help make that possible. I still saw and did nearly everything, but the app was not nearly as helpful as I hoped it would be.
I did not subscribe to the service, so I only had access to the few free plans. I started by copying the ultimate plans. I had to delete all the shows that the app said weren’t offered at the time(and later found out some of them were offered at the time). I added our table service reservations, but was disappointed to find that nearly every time the plan would have us showing up late and would only give an option of getting there within a +/-10 minute window (which it often wouldn’t hit). Often it wouldn’t add the reservations to the plan at all and I would have to add things multiple times before they finally made it in the plan.
I had similar problems entering Lightning Lane reservations. The reservations would show up at the top of the plan, but not in the plan itself and the ride’s part on the plan would tell me to go after my Lightning Lane time and wait in line.
And if you want to see shows and parades, don’t use the app. Most of the parades weren’t listed in the app and the app would get you to shows way after they started.
Then there was the Optimize button. It never stopped optimizing. I eventually started tapping optimize, waiting about 30 seconds or so, then tapping refresh and had some success getting the plan to update/optimize. My guess is the servers the app talks to need some upgrades to handle the volume. I went during one of the least crowded weeks of the year. I hate to think of using it during a weekend in the summer or during Christmas!
I managed to successfully submit some wait times, but had a few get hung up in transit to the server and got a message from the app that the wait time was beyond the limit.
It seems the shows, character meetings, and parades only get updated yearly. I went in April and holiday shows/parades were listed on the app. They also listed a meeting with Merida from Brave that my husband and I were excited about - Brave is one of my favorite movies, Merida is one of my favorite princesses, and she reminds my husband of me. When we didn’t see it on the My Disney Experience app, we asked about it and the cast member looked at me like I had three heads because Merida hadn’t been around for many months.
There is a disclaimer on the ultimate plans that says the plan won’t optimize well. So when we went to Epcot for a full day after going for a half day and knocking out a few things, I made my own plan to give the app a fair shot without using the ultimate plan. Nope. I had the same problems with the optimizing and Lightning Lanes and scheduled reservations and such.
On our last day, I don’t think I opened the app at all for our visit to Animal Kingdom. Instead we used the Disney MDE app’s wait times and figured it out as we went.
I like the premise of the app and feel there is merit behind it, but the execution is lacking.

Not what it was
Post Covid, Disney has seen a tremendous boost in demand and crowds. I appreciate that this app can be helpful to pair with the Disney one. But the crowd sizes were flat out wrong, the expected wait times are simply being calculated against a formula. It’s not at all accurate. While in the park, minutes matter and this app really disappoints.
Lots and lots of bugs on iPads
I’m trying to make a plan for a few hours now, but the bugs are KILLING ME All of the scroll wheels are 1 tick off. ALL,OF THEM The meal planning/scheduling screen has overlapping fields such that you cannot select the duration of your meal and therefore you cannot optimize. The biggest issue is that my set end time is STUCK on 6pm. I partly think this is the case because I’m scheduling on dates without published park hours but I feel the app should be able to work through that. Beyond that this app is great but it needs pictures and summaries of what each attraction is, what each restaurant is, and a small mini map, showing where each attraction is. Also, in the final steps I would love to see an interactive map showing my route that I can click on the stops, get info on the stop including a picture of 360 deg picture would be great
Update: 2 years later, not a flipping thing has changed. The app is hot garbage. STEAMING PILE OF USELESSNESS

Not accurate
The plans might be okay, but I doubt they're valuable given the new Disney policies like pay per ride or paid fastpasses.
I know from experience that the "actual" wait times are simply wrong when they're not the same as posted. You get into a line, assured by Lines that it's shorter than Disney says, and it wastes your time.. The showtimes are wrong as well, telling you that shows that don't run have showtimes.
All in all a big disappointment in the parks.

Wait until things return to normal at the parks to use this app!
During normal times this is the best app ever for touring anything related to Walt Disney World! We used touring plans for well over a decade, every other year, going to Disney World. So we turned to it again this year(July 2021). Epic fail!!! It’s as if the developers and researchers didn’t do anything to update their app or software or algorithms to handle the lack of fast passes and ride closures as well as increased crowds. The crowd levels were way off as were the wait times! And on one day none of the official wait times were showing in the app. We had to turn to the crummy Disney app. All of our touring plans were a waste of time. We abandoned this app at each of the parks and instead turned to the Undercover Tourist app. They have a one day park plan for each of the parks accounting for all of the changes. They also have the updated Disney wait times. It’s not as full featured (no estimated wait times) but it was a better alternative in this case. When things return to normal and when we return to Disney World in a few years, hopefully the developers will have gotten their algorithms back in order. Until then don’t spend much time on this app.
