Your topical P2W game.
No story mode. Casual is your best bet. Ranked matches are horrendous, unless your P2W and team match making is unbalanced, so I suggest having your own friends/teammates if you plan on ranking up. Don’t think I’ll be playing again.

The DISSIDIA IP is the only thing good about this game. This is the worst of P2W gacha predatory model hinged solely on baiting players with the Final Fantasy nostalgia. The matching algorithm is pathetic causing very unbalanced matches - which presumably because there are not enough players. The bugs make it unplayable - every time they fix something there are new issues. And then penalising players for connection issues? Truly a joke. This is a blatant cash grab only supported by whales mostly in the Asia region. The community is either extremely toxic or non-existent. This probably will exist for a while still thanks to the FF name - before enough people are sick of it and leave.

I’m currently playing in an iPad 9th gen and sometimes the game crashes and kicks me out , can you please solve that problem ? I can’t rank like that

The draw rates for anything useful are absolutely predatory. The developers should be ashamed of themselves. Never spend a dime on this game.
This game had potential but…
I downloaded this game the game. I was gonna have fun, but I can’t even get off the tutorial because every time I click “match” he’s telling me I’m able to match with players… which doesn’t make any sense because usually during the tutorial there is no real people just bots
No sounds
There has been no sound coming from the game ever since the launch after downloading.
Way too easy, no Tifa & and the story is just not riveting
As the worlds greatest gamer and reviewer I am giving this a 0 out of 5 stars as of today, the story is not riveting at all, they didn’t include Tifa which is just plain dumb. Also I’m F2P and top 10 in the world and this game is way too easy, maybe make the game harder for players that are good??
Racism blatant in game square dose nothing about it
There are racist names front and center on the leaderboard and have been there for months.
I really love this game buuut
Now only is this game predatory but as the third season rolled out the game only really benefits whales.
And even the whales in the community chat actually complain as well.
Skills don’t even matter if your credit card isn’t powerful enough.
The queue is unfair and pits you against people with 8-50k cp difference against your team.
The game was fun when everyone was still at almost equal fitting and matches felt more justified (win or lose).

Balance in characters.
Better hope you hate Final Fantasy 3 and playing the onion knight. His power grows in level, level coming from beating monsters and collecting bravery, but his only stat increase is attack. Doesn’t gain defense, doesn’t gain hp. Just a sharper butter knife. Sephiroth for example, is able to take him out of his Ultra rare ability that says unblockable, with his just one of his abilities, that not only kills every monster while doing a lot of damage to the entire enemy team, it also makes sure they stay stunned over the ENTIRE map for 5 seconds. No escape or counter at all. You just wait for their teammates to finish the job, or the second sephiroth to do the same ability right after to guarantee a team wipe. Essentially, making your already squish character, no matter what, a free target. I understand that the power of seasonal characters needs to be stronger than anything before or after they’re released. But when they stun the entire map with zero consequences? Nah. I understand that they cater to the whales and only give buffs to the characters that the whales play at the top. But seriously. Put a little more balance in seasonal. No one should ever be given a map wide, high damage, unblockable, full team stun. That’s just bad choice.
Unfortunate
When the ranking restarts, it’s one of the most frustrating things because you get paired with a lower rank vs a higher rank. When they reset the rank it’s not fun. Probably for the higher level it is but for people that are trying to get into the game nah. Also their are broken UR that needs nerfing but the game is corrupt into you pay you win. Kinda like a casino after so many tries. I Love final fantasy but the more I play the more I feel like this isn’t fantasy. The first disidia and second was a EQUAL playing field and was NOT DETERMINED BY STATS.
Some what fun
Game is heavily pay to win, not enough opportunities to gain currency to summon abilities and characters not to mention. The only option is a 20 pool summon so it takes longer to build your Heroes up. I don’t see this game lasting very long unless a few things are changed.
Pay to Win Garbage Slop
You don’t just have to roll for the characters, you have to roll for their individual abilities they use in combat. On top of that, just getting an ability once isn’t good enough, you have to be lucky enough to get multiple copies of each ability because stats are tied to the abilities you equip. This game is a disgrace to both the Dissidia series and the Final Fantasy franchise as a whole. It’s disgusting that something this greedy and scummy would be approved for release. Even by gacha game standards it’s disappointing.
Bad game
I don’t recommend this is game it’s very pay to win it’s not free to play friendly algorithm is made to make you lose story lock behind battle pass you have to buy characters the banners are rigged on pulling characters. Don’t waste your time. I’m a YouTuber
Game got even worse after update.
Game breaking bugs still there. Zero balance, and they can never fix the underlying issue of having to use bots to replace a dwindling playerbase stateside. Looking at global EoS same year. It’s good in Japan where they can permanently ban bad players but stateside it’s a failure.
Game crashes A LOT on iPad 9
As the title says. It’s been a while and they released several updates since then and this hasn’t been fixed yet. It’s impossible to play on iPad even on lower resolution and lower FPS.

If you pay to play, you will quickly find out others pay way more and will pop you in a single move.

Even DISSIDIA NT was better than this garbage. Good luck playing the character you actually want to play unless you are looking to dump money to make them even remotely viable. Everything is behind the gacha system and I do mean everything Characters,abilities, the job system. Getting the character you want isn’t too much of an issue but unless you get their ultra rare ability they are basically useless. Oh and getting their abilities isn’t even the end because then you have to level them up by getting duplicates just to keep up with your rank.

Not What I’m Looking For
I miss Opera Omnia. That’s the kind of Dissidia game that I enjoy on the go. Maybe even more of the pixel remaster art style. This action seems boring and the game is bloated for what you do. Even playing an action Dissidia, it could be more fun with more of classic Dissidia battles.
Gets boring quick
It’s fun at first until you realize how limited the gameplay loop really is. Same map, same 3 v 3 with people running the same comps. It’s fun for a bit but if you’re looking for a modern gacha or even just DISSIDIA mobile this is- rough. It looks and runs great though and the music is good.
Not well balanced
Buyer beware: play this game only if you have lots of money and time to burn. Or if you’re a die-hard final fantasy fan in search of mild amusement. This game leaves much to be desired. It hides the best skills and stats behind a paywall, and its matchmaking heavily favors those who’ve paid over those who’ve played.

Love the story line and graphics are well established for the iPhone. However, it’s too annoying to have to read all the subtitles and not understand too much the story line. I do see it go down in players if this is not in English, specially when the US recognizes characters voices like Lightning, Tidus, and Cloud. It’s just Meh.
