Doesn’t sync properly between devices
I am a paid pro user. I have spent considerable time making sure DivTracker mirrored my brokerage account only to find it did not sync properly between devices. Tech support said to update my iPad- which I did- but that did not correct the issue. They then instructed me to update my iPhone- which accurately reflected my brokerage account -prior to the update…however after updating my iPhone DivTracker app- it reverted to what the iPad DivTracker app showed - which was incorrect and had stock symbols I had sold long ago. Moral of story - I don’t want to update my stock holdings on each device. Takes too much time. They should seamlessly sync between devices. Now it’s like starting over. I will say tech support does respond quickly. But yeah. Now none of my devices accurately reflect my brokerage account.

Can I get the previous version back? This update ruined it and it wiped my portfolio. Calendar is too tight. Sell transaction? I just want to delete the holding.
Ruined with the update
I’ve been a paid user for 3 years now, used the app all the time and loved it, now after the update I’m going to look at using some other system. There are way too many bugs, holdings, aggregate portfolio, dashboard/portfolio never show the same amounts/holdings, always different not as in market changes but 1 page will say differently than the other, my cash holdings are now showing as transactions? Not good for a something I pay for that was working perfectly. It’s also way too complex for what it needs to be, now it’s just more confusing and frustrating to use this app, way to go and ruin something that was perfectly fine.

Why does every app make you a creepy account to track you. I’ll go with an alternative.
Can’t use the app
I’ve been using the app for about a year and everything was fine until this v2 update.. I haven’t been able to edit anything in my portfolio since.. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled.. nothing works.. I deleted everything.. nothing works.. apps essentially frozen every time I open it and I pay for it.. shame
Update killed it
This has been my go to dividend app for over a year. After this last fix, almost all the free dividend features went behind the paywall. While it is a good app it isn’t worth what is being asked.
UX change
Not sure why the ux was changed. It was simple before the latest version, and not its very cumbersome. I pay for a subscription but thinking about cancelling with this latest update. None of my data migrated either, so I have to re enter all my holding manually.

Terrible
Purchased DivTracker v1 yearly subscription it was reasonable price. With no warning go in to look at my portfolio and now they created a whole new interface one of my portfolio’s is completely gone and they increase the price exponentially. Deleting it now. What a joke.

The app just updated and changed now my one year subscription isn’t working and is asking for me to get the ultimate again. My life is already hard enough…

DIV Tracker App worked great until it didn’t. I woke up to a blank screen. I’m hoping the developers can revive it.

Old Version much better
Using Snowball now, around same price because of Black Friday special, $55, and has more features. This app has the only dividend calendar format that was good to use.
Portfolio values incorrect
With this latest update it appears the portfolio values are incorrect by rather large amounts. I’ve double and triple checked that total number of shares and price paid are exact, but the total account value is off by thousands! Really sad this latest update broke such an amazing app that I’ve been paying for quite a while.
Bad Update
This update was obviously not tested. I can’t even edit a holding. Also, key elements like adding a holding are no longer possible on the web interface.

Disappointed
I do not like the new update, editing my holdings has become too complicated. The simplicity of the old version was exactly what I wanted to track my dividends. I will not be renewing my subscription.
New January 2026 Update Horrible
Since I updated the app I have not been able to use. Upon opening the app ether the app just freezes before it lodes or it opens a black screen. It stays like that without anything that you can do but to close the app. DO NOT UPDATE
Redesign
Why did you change the user interface? It looks hideous now. The information layout is a disorganized mess. The calendar is almost virtually useless and difficult to look at. Quick update. Now anytime I try to type into the app it crashes. The app is now useless.

This app was nice before this god awful update. It no longer shows correct portfolio, you can’t update your holdings instead it forces you to add transactions. Why? I’m not going to add 100 transactions I’ve done manually. Cancelled the subscription, bye bye!

Looks like my acct was migrated to v2 and lost all my data. Could view my portfolios!
Terrible update 2.0
This 2.0 update wiped years of tracking, poof, everything is gone and I now have to enter multiple accounts again. I can’t see this being intended so something so important not being tested, ooof. Unfortunate the price doubled last year and then tripled from that. And don’t forget there is now a forced account creation where prior to 2.0 it was not necessary.
Data Privacy
Now you can no longer keep your sensitive financial data private - locally on your device. With the latest application update, they are now forcing you to create an account and have your financial data copied to their servers. It is now time for me to delete this application and look for a better alternative that respects privacy.

Very first feature listed is to link accounts. You cannot even do the first thing it lists this app does without paying!!!!

This is a switch and bait (illegal) act. Saying you can do things and then as soon as someone downloads the free app - go “everything we listed you have to pay for.”

100% useless: No bar graph, incredibly convoluted interface
I was going to buy a subscription to give me the time to find the bar graph, but after a few days realized their is no bar graph!
There are animated pie graph, weird gizmos, and many many useless things. but no bar graph.

Garbage
I downloaded the app because I was looking for a searchable database of upcoming EX dates and to be able to search by these dates and yields. Totally useless! You have to upload or connect with your existing porfolio, I just want to buy for the ex date and then dump.
App issue
Unfortunately, the app will not center on my iPhone. It's too far to the right and I cannot read any of the numbers. I can't use the app so I will delete it

Excitement into disappointment.
I signed up and after a little time, I realized several of the dividends amounts are completely wrong. Then today this app displayed that one of my stocks was down today. It was not down. So I kept looking and see several more issues related to amounts and dividends. I will not pay for this app after the end of the month.

Why is Robinhood no longer working on your app? I had no issues last week and now it’s showing ONLY what’s in my unused funds, none of my stocks and none of my dividends.

It definitely went from good to bad. I’m seeing I’m not alone in the reviews. I also contacted support hoping I could go back to the old version. Support wasn’t supportive.

New Account Required
Was a perfectly fine app for what was needed. Then they introduced an account requirement in order to use it. Extremely annoying, definitely removing the app. They could have easily just put the basic tracking as before available without an account and loved features behind an account. Let the user decide. Oh well, not much is lost plenty of apps do the same tracking.

New Version way too buggy!!
I upgraded the app a couple of weeks ago and what was a stable tool which worked exactly as expected has been “upgraded” to an app which has not been QA’d effectively and is full of bugs. The new UI is confusing and simply not as good as the prior UI. I have spent a few hours before writing this review but the simple truth is that this was not ready for release. I am not sure if it was tested with actual end users in a limited release as I am sure this is tricky to QA. Still at the current price point it’s a major fail. I would expect to now see rapid improvement and iteration or I expect a lot of folks will cancel.

This app used to be good but they redesigned it and it’s worse. It’s hard to delete holdings and the edit button does not work. The boxes to change things don’t work. The calculated annual dividends make no sense. Absent some changes to fix the issues, I won’t renew my subscription.

I thought this wAs going to e a great app for tracking, however dividends are not up to date and many times just wrong. Cant depend on it's accuracy.

I’m not writing this review because the app isn’t good, it actually works well when it’s accessible. I’m writing it because I was disappointed with how a complaint I made was handled.
I couldn’t access the app unless I used a VPN, so I sent this message to support:
“Hi team,
I’m a paid annual user, but I haven’t been able to access DivTracker unless I use a VPN. I’m based in Nigeria, and it seems there’s a regional routing issue blocking direct access.
Could you please look into this?

Thanks for your email. Our servers are managed by Google so I’m afraid I can’t do anything about it.
Best.”
As a paying user, I expected more professionalism and empathy. However, I can’t shake the feeling that I was somewhat profiled after mentioning that I was experiencing the issue from Nigeria.
I couldn’t access the app unless I used a VPN, so I sent this message to support:
