Crash and Fails in latest update!
this has to be the worst cam system ever, can’t believe I have it. Use Annke Vision in my 20 retail locations and it’s flawless. Time to upgrade.
Horrible app
Most of the time I’m not able to see my cameras, it’s a failure system. All this reviews Positive reviews must be fake, 90% of the time I can’t see my cameras with this system. Horrible

Why does the log-in screen keep popping up every time you open the app?
How do mess more up than fix each time?
Now all of you experiencing the no load live or playback, you have to close and restart app every single time you disconnect and reconnect from any WiFi.
No need to login!
This latest update has prompted the login page to appear upon each open. Login / account creation is absolutely NOT required! Not only is this a nuisance for personal use, but the flooding of calls I am receiving from customers is an absolute waste of my time. I was initially upset to see Dahua (OE) leave the US market, but this one simple inconvenience is more than enough for me to welcome Hikvision as my standard brand going forward.

Awful app that bugs me non stop to upgrade when I already have. So hard to use and keep track of multiple locations. Look at the interface of Ring. Tons of information but easy to use.
Not compatible with I phones
Every time they update our phones stop working with system. I would not recommend this product if you have a I phone even if they say it’s compatible.

Poor Video Quality
DMSS app v2.3.12 - on app launch live HD video settings show video as SD. Having to continually need to toggle HD to SD to HD for the HD setting to work. Been reporting this to support for months now at app still broken. Extremely disappointed with this and other basic features of the app that used to work.
Why
The app times out every 15 minutes on an iPad.
You literally have to start it all over again everytime, why is this?
I’ve tried everything to solve the problem and have also got ADT involved to help but to no prevail. It must be on your end please update for the iPad.
Also in the horizontal mode it only takes up 3/4 of the screen. Needs to be full “beast” mode.

Constant errors and lags

Already logged in. Deleted and reinstalled same issue. After entering camera and DVR info, prompts to login and then just keeps loading and loading and loading. All information is correct. Connected to the same network. Please fix asap as it affects security.

App crashes
I’ve been using this app for a few years and as of Jan 2026 the app has been malfunctioning. I have several cameras connected to the account however all of them don’t show via the app

Login problem
App was working great from 3 months now i don’t know what happen whenever i refresh DMSS app it says login problem then i have to login again please fix this.
Be careful
This app has worked well for 6 years. A month ago it stop allowing me to playback. I have deleted and downloaded a couple of times and nothing seems to work. It says file fail to load. I believe the good reviews have been loaded and are fake. I had to scroll down to find the not so good reviews.
FIX YOUR APP
impossible to scroll to a certain time in playback. scroll to 2pm it skips backwards to 1pm. hit the 10 sec rewind button it moves you back an hour. super frustrating.

Why am I being forced to login now?
Login issues using gmail
I get an opt on my gmail for logging in. And when I enter the otp it says incorrect otp. It doesn’t even send an otp on an international mobile number and neither does it accept email otp
New update sucks
Ever since the last update my playback keeps timing out. I get notifications super late. What’s the point of having cameras if I can’t see anything. This app is getting too buggy
Great till newest update!
This was a great app till the current update. When I get a notification of an event on the app and try to open it, it says NO VIDEO. I am able to find it by opening under the camera rather than the events tab. Too many steps when you are in a hurry to see a notification. Tried to contact app developer, wasn’t able to.
Also, please bring back time marker lines under playback!!

أنا مستخدم للتطبيق منذ فترة، وقد لاحظت مؤخرًا مشكلة تتعلق بعرض التسجيلات في قسم التخزين. عند مراجعة الفيديوهات، لا يظهر لي التسجيل حتى اللحظة الأخيرة كما كان في السابق، بل يتوقف العرض عند وقت متأخر (مثل الساعة 6:40 مساءً) رغم أن الوقت الفعلي يكون مثلًا 7:40 مساءً.
أرجو منكم التكرم بمراجعة هذا الخلل، سواء كان متعلقًا بطريقة التسجيل أو إعدادات المزامنة أو أي تحديثات طرأت على التطبيق مؤخرًا، وإرشادي إلى الخطوات التي يمكنني اتخاذها لضمان عرض التسجيلات بشكل كامل حتى آخر لحظة.

Can’t play back on iOS 18.7.2
Before I was can view live feed and playback fine but now I can’t view playback only live feed. Every time I click playback it show “failed to load, tap to try again “ try tapping but it doesn’t help. On my android phone everything is working fine both live feed and playback
