Awful
The stupid animations with the world that pull you away from the main game after every successful combination is the most frustrating and annoying feature of this game. The game was fine when I played it years ago and I thought it would be fun to redownload, but the constant bombarding with notifications and pulling away from the actual game has made me hate playing this.
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
Bought the bundle, and there are in app purchases in every doodle game. Don’t charge for a game and then expect people to spend more to progress. Ended up just googling like 30 of the elements. I miss the old doodle god, they struck good and then filled the mine back up until they got to the surface and were just digging dirt again. Just release the old game for like 5 bucks and you’ll make more money than you did with this garbage. If it ain’t broke don’t shove it full of adverts and act like it’s an improvement. I don’t mind the cutscenes since you can skip them, it’s actually kind of fun to see, but all in all, I’m just sad that I can’t play the doodle god I really loved as a kid.

All the stuff that nobody wants. Deleted it, after all these years of picking up and playing you guys ruined it.
Full of Malware
Not sure of what was going on but when I attempted to play the game my phone almost came a grinding halt as well as became hot. I ended up deleting the game from my phone. I ended up looking at my routers logs later which showed that it had blocked malicious attacks from this app. Absolutely avoid at all costs.
Bad experience
I used have the older version of this app, which didn’t have the globe. I loved replaying that version. The current version is intolerable. It is just so annoying to have that earth view pop up all the time. I wish they had a way to disable that.
Complete nonsense

Where did it all go wrong?
This game used to be so fun. You would be able to quickly discover new elements and progress further into the game. Now, every time you find a new element, you have to watch the globe spin and zoom in then show the element pop up..... it wastes so much time and I honestly do not care for it. Especially at the beginning when anything you do makes a new element. I used to be able to get really far in like 10 minutes from the start and now 10 minutes from the start you’ll spend 7 minutes watching the pointless cut scene of the globe and 3 minutes actually playing the game. It feels more like an interactive cut scene than a game with cut scenes. It’s almost unbearable. If there was an option to stop the cut scenes or just get the game how it was when it first came out, I would do that. I would pay $10 for the original game I played as a kid over paying $0.99 for whatever this “game” is. I’m truly disappointed. I thought I’d play something nostalgic, but instead it’s like I’m playing a game where someone tried to copy the perfectly fine original but screwed it up terribly.

Terrible resolution, frame rate, UI and UX, + bugs.
I have the newest iPad Pro 12.9 inch and this game opens up into a tiny window in the middle of it the size of a phone screen. Expanding it doesn’t increase the resolution, and still leaves black frames on the sides.
The UI is terrible. You can’t access options after beginning if you want to disable the annoying voice overs.

Not working
Got a blank screen. Could hear the opening but nothing shown. I was able to sort of move the earth on the screen but seemed it wasn’t aligned at all and was super zoomed in
TOO MANY ADS!!!!!
They are so greedy. The amount of ads they shove in your face is infuriating. I mean, the most successful games are the ones that don’t force you to watch ads, so why do companies like this still do it. You all must have an idiot as the head of this company.
Has potential but not user friendly
For a purchased app, I was disappointed. The concept is awesome, and the platform is friendly enough. However, I have only gotten the app to open twice out of many attempts. Every other time it just freezes on a dark screen. I liked matching the lemme ya to create new things, but wish there was more direction on how to make things.
Game keeps glitching out on me
I downloaded this game and it was fine for about 5 minutes and then all of a sudden every time I try to open the main game it keeps looping back to show me an ad to buy the main ad-free version and then I can’t continue with the game at all. Very frustrating.
Can’t open
I used to play this on the computer. For hours. So of course I bought it on here. So I can continue.

App doesn’t work
Bought the app, played it a bit. Now when I try to load it All I get is the music and little dust motes on a black screen. It doesn’t load at all. Waste of money
Pay more for removed features!
When I bought the game I loved it. It's evolved a lot since then and is still great, but now there are ads (in the paid version) and basic features like blue border for completed elements, and dotted border for elements with no available combinations now have to be paid for. And not just once. Every 24 hours I have to pay more money for these basic features that came with the original version I paid for.
Needs to Mellow Out
This game was great when it first came out. Downloaded it again for a trip down memory lane, and this new version is just in your face trying to get you to connect to social media and do quests and other such nonsense. Deleted.

As stated, it doesn’t run on iphone 8. It seems to be scaled for an ipad, not an iphone.

Good, but stops working
I like to play doodle guard when I’m bored. But, it does have its fair share of downsides. First off, there is not many questions to do in the game once you get past technology or world of magic, you like to do the quests in the game. Also, right after doodle God gave me a notification of allowing to useMy location, for some reason the app just won’t load. It’s like whenever I go into the game the game won’t start there’s no welcome screen there’s nothing it’s just a black screen with blue floating dots. This happened twice when I download it the second time.
Used to be good... sad
Advertisements and animations constantly makes this game unplayable. Too bad! it used to be one of my favorite games. Thanks for ruining another childhood memory.
Lack of Diversity
I really enjoy playing this game, it’s a good way to pass time during quarantine. My only issue with this game is that every single human portrayed in the game is white. It bothers me because it shows me that the devs of this game are ignorant and exclusive and it makes me not want to play.

I was okay paying a dollar for what I thought was the basic old doodle god, but there's way too many animations and pop ups and side tasks. I don't want to do quests, I don't care about the new element popping up on the earth, I just wanna make stuff.

Always loved this game! However, it seems they aren't going to be updating this to iOS 13 (iOS 13 has been out since early Sep. 2019, 10 months) and I'd likely assume that means they won't be updating it every again. (Must not be making them money anymore?) The app no longer functions, after the splash screen it simply loads a black screen with floating, faded orbs hovering around the screen and the game itself never loads. If you can manage to get it to work then congrats you've got a great game to play and enjoy it while it lasts!
Major Bug
I like the game, but I can only play it once after downloading it. Any time I close and try to reopen the app, the game never shows up no matter how many times I try. Tried redownloading it, same issue. Please fix

For a game you pay for, it’s very buggy! Half the time I try to open the game, I’m stuck in this black screen. Even restarting the app doesn’t help, just goes back to that same screen. So I guess you can only play this game when it decides to work properly?
Too Much Stuff
I played this game several years ago and loved it. I recently redownloaded it and all the inflated crap that they added makes this game so unenjoyable to play. What’s with the constant animation that plays when you fuse??? Why can’t you turn those off?? The UI is distracting and unattractive. SIMPLE IS BETTER.

This used to be one of my favorite games to just download and kill some time with, even after I beat it, trying to remember all the combos after a while was still fun.
At some point they added a lot of extra stuff that just gets in the way. Most combinations require you to look at a pointless little cutscene. Then you have to do little puzzles to advance in the game and the puzzles are seemingly designed to make you spend money on hints.
