Dasher never supports a person it only cares of the system and money. It doesnt value if ur order was being late nor consider what it takes to drive. I hope this helps people who want to dash for first time.
Still terrible
App slow, barely works with Apple Pay, and gps/systems in app beyond terrible, even asking for help takes 5 years they need new management for the app cause this one is trash

They’ll have you pick up an order, tell you it’s ready, have you wait at the merchant for 20+ mins and not compensate you for it.
Stupid Indian tech support can’t help
I made my account and everything was fine at first, but I was unable to actually schedule a dash. I messaged support and it is just a bunch of Indians could barely speak English helped me. They did eventually get me able to get a dash however during the dash despite being in a hotspot, I was unable to get a order they do not know why all despite waiting an hour they said it should work now, but it doesn’t cause their stupid

Says I have a previous account used on my ssn okay that’s fine I submitted a application to merge the accounts bc that old email I have no access to but what does DoorDash do they deny me access even when I have my drivers license and social all in the system and I can’t submit another appeal until September 22 what a great app

DoorDash has very little, realistic/accurate transparency regarding driving for D.D.
Unless you’re a new driver, you don’t make much money, base pay is usually only $2.00 and most is dependent on tips even if you’re a good Dasher. To get Platinum status. You have to accept all orders even if it’s $1.50-$3.50 for many miles and cost you $ in gas, wear and tear on your care, general car payments and insurance, mileage, and depreciation for those miles.
You are best to accept a minimum wage job at best unless you have a very old car that’s paid for, with no realistic costs…

IT SUCKS.
I have tried to apply for DoorDash 2 years ago and till this day they still cannot figure out what’s wrong with my account. Then when I call DoorDash support I keep getting transferred and get nowhere it’s seriously disappointing. It ties to checkr as well.

Las órdenes son muy horribles , por más que uno se cambie de zona , quieren pagar 1$ por milla , de paso si uno no las agarra , te bajan tasa de cancelación, a juro tienes que agarrar malas órdenes , me parece que antes era mejor , ahora es la peor aplicación… de todos los tiempos

On top of changing the customer more than the restaurant they blatantly keep part of the drivers tips, pretty sure that’s illegal and they’ve been in trouble for it multiple times

It has been months and I am still calling and emailing to get in contact with people I don’t think exist. What a blatant f.u. to the dasher thanks for no support really killing it guys.

You loose points for not accepting a order somebody didn’t wanna pay well but you can accept 100 orders an one person make a lie u loose points an money going down in colors Uber Eats ain’t no better but at least they pay more DoorDash collect to much of your pay to tip less then the mileage of the trip you couldn’t get a person to give u a ride for 3$ in this high economy so why would I waste gas cause somebody is low balling the dasher so I have to loose points an money cause the person ordering cheap an DoorDash worse then Uncle Sam food be 50 how I get paid 3 dollars to drive 10 miles make it make sense! Don’t matter platinum or Gold they pay you less than the stays u built up !
Law breaking encouragement.
App punishes you for being late. If the restaurant doesn’t have the food ready. It’s your fault. If the traffic light doesn’t turn green. It’s your fault. If there is a fatal car accident it’s your fault on why customer didn’t get food on time. This causes in safe driving for everyone.

If you you wanna make money this isn’t it. If you have a car it’s a no go if you don’t you don’t you might make below minimum wage… by a lot. After trying this out I will respect my dashers much more and tip in cash. This is a company who needs the CEO to be properly checked it’s designed to take advantage and to hurt those struggling. Never again will I dash for them again. I get how when your desperate you will but the company is evil and needs to be treated as such
Terrible verification and support
I’ve doordashed for a long time. I was asked to re-verify my identity, and upon providing my documents my account was locked. I tried contacting support and filled out appeals forms 4 times, denied every time with no explanation. Support will tell you they are escalating the issue and then you’ll hear nothing.
Platinum still making minimum wage
This company has turned into a complete joke! I'm making maybe a little over $10 an hour while wasting my gas and putting miles on my vehicle. Pick up and delivery times are unrealistic which forces you to to risk your safety in order to make the delivery on time. They will also count the wait time at the merchant against you, which makes no sense.

Le falta mejorar mucho la plataforma porque los servicios se cobran en sus totalidad. Pero debe cumplir con el precio total no esperar que un cliente de propina porque casi nadie da propina porque por eso hay mucho rechazo de viajes y mucho descontento de los dasher. La propina no es obligatorio pero debe pagar exactamente lo que vale el servicio por Distancia y tiempo. Como hace Uber y otras aplicaciones como Rappi. espero que tome en consideración las opiniones de nosotros que son los dasher que somos lo que movemos esta aplicación sin nosotros la door dash no es nadie. Espero que tome cartas en el asunto.

Be prepared to be punished for things out of your control.
I’ve lost my pro shopper status so I rarely get any decent orders because THE STORE DIDNG EVEN HAVE ITEMS. I can’t dispute it without a tag and if the store doesn’t have the item at all you can’t do anything and YOU are punished.
You won't make money
Used to be able to schedule in advance, but since January the only options are 9:30pm-11:30pm, 11:30pm-1:30am, and occasionally 5am-7am. I can't even schedule 7 days out as it's always unavailable until 6 days out. When asked, we're told it's because those are prime times and we can dash whenever we want as long as there are openings. But now we can sit up to 20 minutes without an offer, and the first offer we get is $2 to drive 14 miles. Not the way to treat your platinum level door dash. Last year I was making decent money taking most offers. I would easily make $100 in a day. I've made $41 combined in the last 2 days, and have spent way too much time sitting and waiting.
Save yourselves the time and look into one of of the other delivery services. This company has become a joke.

Bugged notifications
Or intentional? The promotional push notifications keep turning back on. I can see it happen when I click to the app settings page. Support agents just ignore the issue and tell me to reset the app. It keeps happening. There are years worth of feedback about this. This is intentional otherwise criminally negligent. Horrible app as this isn’t the only major bug
Can’t make one mistake.
If you’re having phone issues and sometimes accidentally accept orders. DoorDash will penalize you and lower your rate. Even if you communicate with “Dasher Support” they will not be helpful, and your account will be deactivated. It will say (Temporarily suspended) but that is a lie, you will never be able to dash again with the account.

Can’t get a order when they give all the orders to the same people doordashing, went out to do it 4 different times and just wasted gas driving to different hot spots sitting there till it changes going to another over and over to never get any orders while sitting on hotspots during the times it says still nothing, waste of my time, gas, and sanity, maybe give different people orders instead of the same people, I can’t get an order because I don’t have DoorDash history so they give it to all the people with 5 star ratings

Man I got so many bad order I dropped from platinum and used up all 3 of my platinum passes just hoping I would get some good orders and nothing. I called and complained nothing.

You will not get paid 100% tip from customers because the company just pay you a little and keep it all. You guys must know about this reality! And I will never stop reporting this until everyone know the true! $51 for 5 hours working with platinum tier!

WAY TOO MANY APP ISSUES
I have been a dasher for almost 5 years and I have never had an issue until the past couple months. I will dash at peak hours and the app says it’s busy but then when I start dashing I will sit there for over an hour getting no orders, I’ll move to different hotspots and still nothing. I tried contacting customer service but they said there is nothing they can do about how many orders I get. It is not about how many orders I get, it’s about the fact that it will say it’s busy, in at a hot spot, and yet I DON’T GET A SINGLE ORDER. Obviously there is an issue with the app. DoorDash you need to fix your damn app because this is ridiculous.
Long drives
I was in one area of my town that had better pay and this stupid app decides it’s ok to take me to the lowest paying part of town as platinum dasher and had to drive 25 minutes to the store when I was in between two good hotspots so I hate this app

I used to absolutely love doing this, it was my favorite thing. But for the past couple of weeks, it's been a nightmare. No matter where I am or what time it is, I'm only getting 0-1 dashes every few hours. I even called support, and they weren't any help at all.

Need Dasher app lies to you a lot on average as of late I made maybe $15 an hour and I lose almost all of it to pay for gas. I would more recommend suicide to anybody else that I know rather than being a Dasher I hope I don't want to be a Dasher much longer and somebody calls me back for a job so I never have to dash

One of the worst companies to work for. They do not care about their drivers. They use illegal practices to screw their drivers. Help section in app is non functional.

No help at all
You get to remove one Restaurant from the gold and you get to remove restaurants if you’re at the platinum and the app isn’t allowing me to remove the one Restaurant on gold and I’ve been on the phone for an hour. Nobody knows what they’re doing. They’re not removing first they said I’m gonna move the one Restaurant from orders from Little Caesars I’m not gonna pick up a little Caesars cause you have to take the pizza out of oven and burn
This app sucks
Can’t earn money consistently. The app always has bugs and support is horrible. To whoever reads this review, please file a complaint against door dash and let’s all work together so that they can pay us better. They’re taking advantage of all of us.
I STILL WAIT MY MONEY AFTER 2 week
I started delivering for DoorDash on June 14, 2026. A week later, they gave me a 'contract violation' warning. On top of that, I am still waiting for the money I earned since June 8th to be deposited into my account; I haven’t received a single cent from them. Honestly, this is the worst app for trying to make money. The pay per order is extremely low, and not getting paid on time is completely unfair."
Completely useless right now
For the past three/four days, it has been inundated with bugs and I’ve been unable to even access the money I make for most of that time. Support has been entirely useless and can’t even provide INFORMATION, let alone a solution, and every time the app is “fixed” it’s broken again in less than a day. I am literally without money to eat thanks to YOUR failures in keeping the app running.
Could care less about you as the driver
Changed ui for some reason which is worse than before. Changed requirements which is also worse than before for some reason. And lets you receive low offeres for unreasonable distance and punishes you if you don’t want to waste your gas,energy & time👍🏽not to mention it freezing up,giving you one order after you proceed to put your gps to that location gives you another order and proceed to switch your store for some fantastic reason even when the second store is further👍🏽we love that and some customer support being unhelpful and having attitudes. Thankfully it’s not as frequent and most of the customer support and helpful if you explain things well while others are useless and have attitudes and unprofessional tones😀we also love that😁
Trash Dash
I was with DoorDash since 2018, I’ve been platinum ever since they started, and it’s very inconsistent. Don’t expect help from support, they actually make more mistakes than help. I’m in the Phoenix market and some days I’ll work 16 hours for $200, hence why I’m leaving after so long. If you pay attention, you’ll just find out the algorithm will cap you on money. Lastly no benefits, they offers a gas program which they don’t always pay out there offers so beware. If you work full time you are going to destroy your car for small amounts of money. Good luck to all that want to work for Trash Dash, my time is up. I wish you the best of luck, you’re going to need it for the trashy greedy people that run DoorDash and the idiots I’m the support center. Middle finger to DoorDash

It’s a joke
There’s no point in it anymore, I’ve been dashing for about a year now and it’s at a point now where I’m driving around and sitting in hotspots for 30-45+ minutes waiting for just one singular order. It’s not worth it, there basically aren’t any rewards and I’ve kept my platinum status for over 2 months at this point and I’m still barely getting the orders and money that i used to. Not worth it. Instacart at least actually pays better.

The app randomly freezes
The app will literally freeze in the middle of an active delivery. What makes it more infuriating is that you can only contact the customers & help through the app. (you can’t do that if it’s frozen) and it won’t allow you to complete a delivery that should of been smooth and easy. It’s ridiculous
