Waiting for refund for driver mistake on last night order.
Person did not realize it was a double dash. Jonathan took a picture of my driveway and only dropped off one. Then indicated the order was complete. Unable to get immediate refund for his error. It was denied in app, person did call and it was denied again. I had to call customer service and request and told me on call it was going to be refunded. Then email came to say it wasn’t. Had to call AGAIN to be told it was under second review. Still pending this morning. That is 60 dollars. So I’m short 60 dollars, hungry, and have to be inconvenienced for an error on the driver. Why not cancel versus saying it wasn’t complete. This is upsetting and if not corrected i need to be contacted. This is the first time this has happened and I normally think door dash process to resolve issue is amazing. However, this is not.
Worse food delivery service app out!
I honestly cannot figure for the life of me how this app has managed to get as far as it has with the amount of hungry thieves that be delivering on their app. The amount of liars, & the amount of scamming is staggering. For starters, I heard the many many stories of drivers lying about delivering food that they didn’t deliver, ppl receiving incomplete orders that wasn’t in the bag that the restaurant certainly put on the receipt as proof they’ve done their part but the driver would take it, how rude the drivers are etc.

Fever meds were very late
The lady that delivered my grandsons fever medicine was so late that his fever got worse. I saw their etas change I seen them ride right past Bay st on your app and it did not say their was another delivery but the car kept moving in the. Opposite direction from my house. I don’t even give you a star

I can’t seem to understand if I have a dash pass or not….. I don’t want a dash pass subscription and it keeps telling me at the end to click for yearly and I don’t have it selected but it seems to act like I have a pass, but won’t let me find out for sure or look for a cancel button so I don’t know if I’m being secretly charged for something I didn’t want, also I can’t get a hold of anybody through the app to clarify. It’s like they’re secretly trying to collect money without my knowledge. And give me something I don’t want to sign up for secretly. Like I just won’t notice the charges.

Always pushing back delivery time
DoorDash always delivers several minutes past the initial deliver time and there’s nothing customers can do about it. It’s annoying and unnecessary. Charge you customers less if you’re not going to honor times. I’ve even had this happen after paying the express fees, but those don’t make a difference so I stopped doing that. Just ridiculous.

Used to be decent, but as of recent, their professionalism is going down the toilet… drivers sitting and waiting once they have your food,
you might or might not get your order based on courier availability. You won’t get a full refund for excessive wait times because the restaurant prepares the order. They would rather take your money and have it get to you cold than to give you a full refund back.

Why long distance fee.
I’ve been charged long distance fee x2 now , when it’s not long distance. The first time when I had free item and the fee was the same cost as the item that I was supposed to get free as a marketing special. “One free item” when you purchase from a select restaurant. This 2nd time I don’t know why I’m being charged the long distance fee. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have no problem with the prices. But rather the subscriptions. I am not rich. By any stretch of the imagination . I press a button on accident-the dash pass subscription. I get a refund the first time. It’s all good. I didn’t mean to press it. But every time I delete and get DoorDash back, it charges me with dash pass again when I didn’t even ask for it. This is a reoccurring problems and I am not afraid to take this to court of need be. Resolve this. And I will not be downloading this app again!

I recently had an order where 1 of 6 items was delivered. The only offer DoorDash gave as resolution of the issue was to either refund the cost of the items missing to my card or my DoorDash account as a credit.
The problem?
The refund doesn’t include any fees or tip, and there’s no way to instead have the missing items reordered by DoorDash instead of a refund. That means that the single item I received effectively cost more than double the listed price, and I’ll have to pay $17 extra in fees and a reasonable tip to (eventually) actually get the items I ordered in the first place!
This kind of behavior from DoorDash is terrible, and their trash customer service and consistent decline in delivery efficiency is very frustrating.

My orders are consistently getting taken by the dashers. Who literally drives the wrong way then pull over to cancel my order and keep the food. Also the dashers also deliver the food wrong consistently as well and then you have to wait 30 mins with support to just get DoorDash credits after you waited 40 mins plus for your food to even come and it’s wrong or you jus have to re order it. Poor customer service.

They need to do better when it comes to satisfying the customers if they say that a order is wrong or didn’t receive the itemand they have proof they need to really look into that because not everyone are scammers because these restaurants mess up a lot. Then when we complain about it they try to make it seem like we are the ones lying and that’s not true. We pay our hard earned money too and it’s not fair. I almost literally wanted to close my account because of that. One time door dash didn’t credit me and I was so upset I called Wingstop myself and they apologized and sent me a whole new order and made me keep the order that was even messed up and gave me xtra wings. Like McDonald’s they always forget people fries smh and the list goes on …
Can’t change address
In the commotion of my crazy household I put in the wrong address for my house instead of my bf’s house and there was no way to change it and I had to cancel it with no refund. Really upset it was 30$

My daughter got the wrong drink and I’m still hungry after spending $42 on food for 4 people and tips because they left out our side items. DoorDash customer service offered me $6.31 for my trouble so I won’t be ordering from them ever again. Avoid at all cost.

ways for me. It’s disappointing that i’m giving it 1 star and deleting the app after my subscription expires. The customer service is complete garbage, I always have to talk to 3 different customer service reps when something is wrong with my order that needs attention, like a missing item in delivery or missing delivery altogether, and even then 90% of the time it doesn’t get resolved and i’m left footing the bill of something I didn’t order or didn’t even receive. Here’s hoping they tighten that up, until then I will try using other delivery services, even with my active subscription.

after being a faithful member of Doordash for a year now ordering regularly, we have canceled our membership. After you guys rejecting a refund numerous times for items we don’t receive but pay money for we feel like we are getting robbed at this point. Doordash should be ashamed of their self stealing from their FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS. you guys will soon realize refusing to give a refund on items we pay for, but don’t receive will bite you guys in the butt because more and more people are canceling their membership now. Be very cautious downloading Doordash and becoming a member as they happily steal from their customers.

Feature request. Don’t mix spam in with notifications. “Save 25% at Sally’s Beauty” is not a communication that I urgently need and as far as I can tell the only way to turn off the spam is to uninstall your app or disable notifications from it entirely.

I rarely use door dash and I decided to order something and got the wrong food and tried seeing if I could maybe trade the food for what I ordered because I hadn’t eaten it but I had to talk to a door dash employee but I couldn’t get a redelivery or refund so im stuck with just a sandwich over a think of loaded nacho fries I ordered and paid 20 bucks for, but the customer support guy was lowky chill but just mad about losing my cash for just some sandwich

I have been a Doordash customer since 2020. I placed an order on Tuesday 28 April. They cancelled my order and I quickly received an email saying they would refund my payment to the original payment method. I got a second email saying if the charge was on my statement, it could take 5-7 business days to be returned. They gave me my return in credits. I reached out on the Doordash app on Monday 4 May, to inquire as to why it hadn't been returned to my original payment method as stated in the email. They said I took too long to ask for it to be returned to my credit card and that they couldn't give me my money back. I sent them the email THEY sent me telling me to wait 5-7 business days and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was given some "tell them what they want to hear" clown named Nada who said it would be returned to my credit card within 24-48 hours. I called Doordash on Wednesday 6 May to ask why the money was not returned to me and removed as credits. They gave me a run around and said a supervisor would reach out to me in 24 hours. I NEVER got a call back. I just got off the phone with them again, Thursday 7 May, and another clown fed me the same speech and told me a supervisor would reach out to me. I NEVER plan on using them again.

Their AI Costumer service is dumb as heck
I had an issue with AI Claiming I picked up an order when their system claimed it was canceled.. the problem is that they wouldn’t return my 10 dollar chase sapphire credit and it took almost an hour because AI is too dumb to do basic math .. and costumer service claimed they didn’t have the power to return my money..
Going Out Now Requires a Debit Card Pull - Privacy Scam
Linking Mastercards do not work only Debit cards which makes DoorDash look suspicious into pulling debit card transaction history in order to participate in Going Out. This new privacy scammy behavior really sucks from DoorDash. Definitely reduces my confidence in using DoorDash as a Business Customer.
