This horrible Japanese made app can never do anything right.

Don’t contact support they’ll act like it’s your fault and make you talk to them for an hour. Just waited an hour and a half for a degen who never delivered my order, expect to wait a century to get your food and count yourself lucky if you ever get it. I used to drive for them and they deactivated me for the fact that I got a citation because my registration was out of date and yet every order I encounter an issue with somebody stealing my food or delivering it an hour late. I’ve never had the same issue with Uber eats GrubHub. Steer clear.

Dishonorable
DD is a dishonorable company. The advertised their pass for $59 to continue for another year. They then changed me $96. Instead of honoring the price, I even have a screenshot of, they decided to just do full refund.

I get off of work real late sometimes 10-12 when I order my food most of the time it’s wrong because I work for fast food and I know that they’re just trying to get out of there so don’t be surprised if your food is not fresh then when I reported to DoorDash, they don’t want to issue me my full credit

This app is very inconvenient when an order is cancelled. Should have just ordered directly from the restaurant and used my legs to pick it up. This app not only wasted my time but also my money.

Where do I start most of the time my orders are fine but the last few times I’ve had dashers put my groceries in dirty bags from there cars not even store issued bags that’s against there policy I’ve also had my order stolen over $45 dollars worth of stuff taken and they told

Another overpriced app
So they mark up the food 10-15 percent. Then charge a “service fee”, then a delivery charge. And then have the gall to ask for tip to improve if your driver will deliver their order. All so Shaquan can borrow Lisa’s car and not find the right address. And if, IF you get your food, the only thing guaranteed is it won’t be right. Have literally caught people taking pics of food, then taking it with them on camera. It’s an absolute joke of a service.
Blacklisted
After a few bad reviews based on cold delivered food and the slow acceptance of orders, even with a 30+% tip, I’ve now been blacklisted and it takes 30 or more minutes for someone to accept my order.
I’ve never given a poor dasher rating, so this is clearly something from DoorDash themselves being shady. Use them at your own risk….

Subpar
I ordered my food. It was taken to the wrong address. The driver would not communicate with me to fix the problem. $60 spent just to reorder and pay ANOTHER $60. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS $120 on one meal😡

I don’t know what is going on. I have the latest app update, the latest iOS update on an iPhone 17 pro and I can’t get the app to open. It acts like it’s loading then it times out and closes. I have tried everything such as uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing works. I’m a dashpass member so it feels like I am wasting money on an app I can no longer use.

DoorDash is normally reliable and although it has some issues, I’ve mostly enjoyed using it. However, recently customer service has dropped off tremendously. My last straw was having my kids dinner delivered to the wrong address and getting no refund or credit. That was simply not acceptable. DoorDash was okay taking my money but after not delivering my food, would not take care of a customer in any way. The lack of accountability is telling. I do not recommend and will not return as a customer with service like that.

Extremely disappointed. It is unacceptable for Dashers to have multiple stops while my food is sitting in their car getting cold. If I’m paying delivery fees and service fees, my order shouldn’t take over an hour to arrive when the restaurant is less than 20 minutes away. The whole point of food delivery is convenience and getting fresh, hot food. DoorDash needs to do a better job of prioritizing customers’ orders instead of stacking so many deliveries that everyone’s experience suffers. This has happened too many times, and it’s making me reconsider using the app.

I love buying so many deli outs things to eat but I hate that when you accidentally purchase something you don’t need it is impossible for them to refund it.

Ordered battalion for the evening’s dinner only to learn after the time had expired that it was for one week from today because the restaurant is closed. It was not clear or even fuzzy that the date was not today. I don’t know about you, but I rarely order food for a week from the date. I want to order it! Make it clear for us.
Removed DoubleDash
They inexplicably removed the ability/option to DoubleDash. I was going to order more but when I saw that decided not to any longer.

DoorDash used to be a bit more reasonable, but as time moves the rates for fees, menu items, and memberships continue to increase. One of my least favorite additions is the “express” option. You can pay $3 more per delivery for the food to go straight to you. That is their way of saying, if you do not pay extra, your driver will make multiple stops before you and your food will show up cold. The working man is struggling right now with rates on the rise everywhere, and DoorDash is no exception. The only reason that they get two stars from me instead of one is that they are good about refunds when restaurants mess up your order and the app works efficiently enough.
