ICloud save issues
It won’t download iCloud saves to my new iPhone. Says connection failure.
Buggy
Quick saves randomly to never work even if you manually save it, so don't even bother.
How to use examine function?
Stuck because there is no option to examine. How am I supposed to examine?

It only works rarely. Ugh!
Awful on iPad
It should not list the iPad as a compatible device for this game. Sure, it works, but it is portrait only and simply blown up for the screen. It is so pixelated it hurts my eyes and is unplayable.
No examine function
You'll get stuck an hour or so in because the examine function wasn't included in the transition from of. For $15 I expected a better job!
Horrible save system ruins game
Like every SE game on the app store it seems, the system used for saving your progress causes you to constantly lose your progress and you are forced to play the same 15-20 minute chunks of the game over and over.. avoid until they fix this

Great Fun, but constant game crash freeze
The game is terrific. Hours and hours of fun just like all the other 5 games up to this one. The problem is this is the first one that crashes on my iPhone. Saving, resting, alltrades Abby and other plot developing areas have caused crashes. Really frustrating.

PLEEEEEASE add controller support for all the dragon quest games. I bought them all hoping to play on Apple TV with a controller, and then found out, after purchase that these games don’t support controllers? Cmon Square, all the FF games support controllers.....
Boat bug and bad cloud support cost me hours.
The game is really fun, classic Dragon Quest. But once I got on the boat, I couldn't get off again without Zooming. I tried to save my 14 hours of progress to the cloud, uninstall and reinstall, but when I got back the cloud only restored me to a save point 7 hours in. I can't really cover that ground again.
SNES Rom translation?
Ok Square. I pay full price for your games when they come out. I hope you didn't take the hack translation from the SNES rom and apply it to this game. The English is terrible. At $15, I expect good fluid, sensibly translated games like I had on my SNES as a kid. I'm happy this game is out, but seriously fire your translator. "The enemy attack." Subject verb agreement is horrible and makes it seem like a hack game. If that terrible Kate Upton F2P garbage can be in proper English, so can the Square Enix major releases that I have purchased from Squaresoft and Enix for almost 30 years. Step it up! I'm happy to pay, I just want value!
