Too many marketing messages and ads
Every time I boot the app, I have to opt out of marketing messages. And now, in addition to that, it pops up ads. Just to use the device I paid for! Love the vacuum/mop. The app feels like forced marketing spam.

Wants you location!?
Do not trust any app and company who will require your location to setup. I just set up a dishwasher from a reputable company and it did not require location. This Chinese co is a scam.

Usage of our data for third party companies
Very invasive app. Won’t even let you use the physical product if you don’t agree to their invasive data usage. I would have never bought it if I had know this. Hate how everything nowadays is siphoning your data to sell to others. The fact it scans your house using Lidar is very scary. I wonder which companies have a full picture of what the inside of my house looks like.

Does not let you opt out of notifications for ads. I need notifications to know when cleaning is complete

It’s just got out of control. Spam ads constantly in the App. Why? You’re just pissing off your own customers. If we can’t turn them off, my next buy will not be with Dreame. See how that marketing strategy works for you.

Sends spam notifications
I loathe apps that send spam notifications. This app is one of them. Can't turn off notifications because I need to know what the robot is doing but once or twice a month I get some brain dead spam notification from this app. Have some respect for your brand.

Ok app, horrible practices
Do not get this app or buy any of their products. They will bombard your device with system level notification ads with no way to turn it off. The customer support basically tells you to suck it, and it’s quite unfortunate it’s like this. Horrible app and company.
Can’t set it up from iPad
You should be able to install from an iPad that has wifi connection but no cell. For me this only works from my phone where I don’t want to install this app.

Hot Garbage
I have the L40 ultra and the vacuum hardware is great, but it likes to forget the map weekly. The map setup process is overly complex so takes a bunch of time to setup again.

My map suddenly just disappeared! We couldn’t figure out what was going on as robot just would go aimlessly everywhere because the app still showed a map for me but not my spouse. Now opening app today, the map is just gone.

Каждая прошивка все хуже и хуже, пылесос не может сам после уборки заехать на базовую станцию, начинает юлить то право, то влево. Приходится открывать приложение, нажимать на кнопку возврата на базовую станцию и только после этого он нормально может заехать.

I used to love this app now it’s buggy and stupid
I have a preselected map and when I use it now, it simply doesn’t work. The vacuum could be on the left side of my house but it will create a whole new map on to right. Absolutely trash and not worth it anymore.

Balancing out the 5-star reviews. App is very unclear on what images get sent out to Dreame and why, and the app prompts EVERY time you open to subscribe to their advertising list.

The widgets for this app do not work and have not worked for years now according to other users. Such a disappointment
New update deleted house map
Their new update (within last few weeks) deleted the map of the house, thus all scheduled cleanings (assigned to rooms) got messed up.
The entire premise of cloud services is they manage and maintain and it seems Dreame hasn’t gotten that memo.

Error codes every 2 minutes
They are all junk. I have gotten error codes since we opened the box. Been two weeks same thing. I am sending it back
By not sucking, this vacuum kinda sucks.
Went 2 plus weeks with the floors getting dirtier and dirtier, no messages or warnings like my old roomba.
Finally took it all apart and found a HUGE ball of dog hair completely clogging the tube between the robot and the disposal bag in the the base.

Apps sucks
Ever since the last update, app will not connect or allow adding. Had the vac for two years. Now it’s junk and won’t work because app will not connect
Can't connect
Tried again and again and again............. but couldn't ever get connected. Connected to the vacuum and then it would ask for the password but there is no password for the vacuum so I entered the home wi-fi at which point the app went back a step because I wasn't connected to the vacuum. Stuck in this unfixable loop. Sending back because we all know Chinese products have zero customer service.

After a few weeks of using the app for the L50 vacuum it completely reset, logged out, and forgot everything. Now it has to remap and relearn everything.
More Customization Need
I have a Dreame X40 Ultra. Why can I not force it to empty the bin when it washes the mops? The bin sensor doesn’t work. If they would let me empty the bin when I want, then I’d give it 5 stars.
App is extremely frustrating
The latest app update is horrible. It’s so confusing and hard to find anything. Where is the scheduling function? One of the main things a user needs to find for creating and adjusting most often and I can’t find it anywhere.
Navigating to different functions in the app is not intuitive. I also cannot find documentation to support where these should be found. This should also be easily available within the app. I wish the devs would stop trying to be fancy with visuals and just go back to basics of giving a regular menu to manage a product. Very disappointing consistent the cost of this device.

New customer - aqua ultra roller
Been having some issues with this new purchase. Machine often forgets where it is. Doesn’t do exactly what needs to be done or does things out of sequence all the time. Often found just idol as well I may return this item
Vacuum great! App, not so much
I’ve had this vacuum now since a little before Christmas. Where the vacuum itself lives up to its name of being a Dream, this app has been a nightmare. I have spent literal hours at this point trying to figure out simple things like how to end a cleaning when it’s paused, how to manually empty the vacuum, have it vacuum specific rooms etc… where as I’ve figure most of what I need out, sometimes the options aren’t there and then will all of a sudden appear. There are multiple different home pages, nothing all in one place. It is extremely confusing and limits the use of a lot of cool functions I’ve stumbled on with this vacuum. Please make the interface of the app more usable because this really is a great product!
Device Works Well Latest App Update is Terrible
I am finding the latest app update is awful. Trying to dig through menus to find functionality that was previously intuitive. Hopes it gets better.

I had purchased a smaller one in the spring just to see if I would like it!!! I HATED having to dump the dust bucket several times.
So I knew I wanted an auto empty and bigger. My sister in law has the Dreame ultra! I would encourage anyone to purchase one to see if you’re gonna like it, especially with pets and can’t stand hair!!

Great vacuum, terrible pushy app
Vacuum works wonderful, and integrates with smart home which is awesome. But the Dreamehome app tries to sell you stuff, push subscriptions, and is overall a pain to use to control the vacuum.
