Customer service is lacking
I’ve had a recurring issue since I’ve started my sub account in June 25. It’s related to the auto invest feature that imitates recurring deposits and then invests.
For the first two to three months, the deposit either wouldn’t initiate, or if did, wouldn’t invest. It would take days for customer support to respond saying the issue would be cleared up. It finally did clear up, but 12 days ago, I once again had a recurring deposit not invest. The app’s chatbot is poor AI, doesn’t address the issue, and now adds even more time until you can reach customer service.
I got through to customer service two days ago saying, “We’ve escalated your case to our internal team for further investigation. For now, we will be placing your ticket on hold, but don't worry - we’ll follow up with you as soon as we receive an update.”
It’s been two days and counting and still no response. I’ve responded to the email as directed twice and still crickets. I don’t want to invest the money because in the past, they’ve told me that messes up the system. So my money continues to sit there uninvested, and I continue to wait without a response.
Good app for investing. Awful for customer service. Among the worst.

Zero stars!! Easy in almost impossible out
I would not recommend this company unless you don’t want all of your money back. I tried this app for a year and decided it wasn’t for me. I initiated a transfer in kind to my brokerage. The whole shares went through and partials were sent back for liquidation to be swept later. Almost three weeks later I have half my account value in cash sitting in my account and I can see it on the app. Dub is not releasing the funds and saying I don’t have any money in my account Fidelity took it all in n the transfer. Three weeks of this back and forth and nothing is resolved. Terrible customer service, no support at all.

can’t deposit money
I’m sure this app is great but unfortunately plaid won’t link my bank account. I paid for an annual subscription for nothing because I cannot deposit any money. Every time I try it says there’s a problem linking my account. Even with more than enough funds in my bank account it will not even deposit the minimum payment of $200. Super frustrating very annoying. They got $30 and I get nothing.

Don't use it, Withheld funds
I sold my securities over a week ago and they still will haven't made it withdraw-able. Never has a broker given this problem. And never has there been this problem with smaller transactions thru them.

Such BS. Down over 30% and have never been in the green even though it’s been over 9months. Save your money and invest in Vanguard S&P

Unable to cancel and not profitable at all. Deceptive.
Tried to cancel my subscription. All they gave me was a renewal fee for half a half off every time you try to dismiss it and cancel it won’t let you. still disputing have not heard back. Deceptive.
Locked Money
Can’t transfer out money. Due to technical issues on their end (their claim) they have locked my money and it has been impossible to transfer money out of the app. Technical support is copy paste templates. I would urge not to deposit any amount of cash you may need to liquidate quickly.
All Risk No Rari
Everything was going fantastic until Brett Simba decided putting half of his No Risk No Rari portfolio into Chipotle was a good idea. Bro lost over a million dollars in copying capital over the course of three months, wiping out all of the portfolios gains since June of 2025. The s&p500 has been outperforming him lol. Seriously, just use public and it’s AI etf creator. Far better, more liquid, and easily editable by you when you need it to change.

Here in the United States, we work hard to keep our personal data away from scammers. Just one hour after creating my account, I received a very suspicious email from Dubapp where a man named Pravilia asked me to send a photo of my ID and SSN. Obviously, do not install this app if you want to keep your information safe.
If this were a legitimate app, it would have a proper interface, an official website, or would use a secure platform to verify sensitive information.

Worst customer service ever
Downloaded the app and coincided not deposit funds. After numerous attempts, contacted tech support. Only email, they will not use the phone to help. Spent numerous hours going back and forth with no results. If these people can’t complete a simple transaction I will NEVER trust them with my finances. Total waste of time. Horrible app. Stay far away from this one.
Where does it list the cost?
Hadn’t started using the app when I got a mystery charge for $89.00 on my debit card. I declined it with the bank not knowing what it was. They canceled my card and issued a new one. Now I have to change my card with all my subscriptions. I would not have downloaded the app had I known about the charge. Should have been plainly stated what the cost would be.
Bad data
So when you land in the overview all the percentages are wrong. You have to go to the individual copies to see reasonably correct info. I say that cause it does not match. WSJ or market watch or the apple stock app at end of day. Phony data.
Performance data for unknown period
I am a paid user and started to use it recently. When I look at the portfolio I copy from. It shows the performance for one month and one year and also all time. But it did not specify what is the start date of all time, it can easily tell from a specific date or how many month it is. It seems it is trying to hide something. A performance of 100 percent looks impressive if it one year but if it is 10 year it is less than impressive. It made me wonder what else it is hiding or trying to trick you to believe or mislead you. Suspicious.

Don’t waste your time. They require $200 minimum deposit ON TOP of the monthly or yearly fee. And then when you want to withdrawal, they lock your money up. It’s been about a week now and still not letting me withdrawal my funds. I’m not even paying for the subscription yet they won’t let me have my money. If you need help finding stocks to invest in just use YouTube or ChatGPT. This app is a great idea just poorly executed.

Good luck getting your money back
It’s been over four days, and I still can’t deposit money back into my bank account. It’s also worth noting that none of these portfolios update in real time. You could be locked into a portfolio that shifted last month and is now dropping in value - and unless you’re actively tracking current market trends, you could lose a significant amount of money in just a few hours. Be cautious with your investments.

November and December are not allowed to pick that month. I’m born in December, why is is it not working?????!!!!!

Essentially a Snake Oil Scam at this Point
Here’s my take: there are two main features to this app the first one being publicly available insider, trading information, and the other private members public portfolios that they post. The first, is basically useless because by the time the reporting happens like I said, the price could’ve fluctuated wildly and I wouldn’t ever try to trade off of that unless it was like super specific. The second I looked at a handful of people the top people on that app and they’re one year return isn’t anything special, I would be curious to see three years five years from now what kind of performance you would see if there are any really good people on there to copy because of that information would be instant, but other than that, I’ve seen no value to it

Great concept horrible practice
The app is a great concept but it does not let you cancel you subscription through the app. When you cancel the subscription through the appstore the app still tries to charge you. They tried to charge me $89 although ive already had the subscription canceled and i cannot get rid of it

This app won’t allow you to get your money back. It is easy to add funds to your portfolio. But it’s basically impossible to deposit back to you checking account.

Consistent at being mediocre
I’ve worked with this app on several occasions, at the begging it felt promising (2024) but now it just feels like a money grab from the creator. all your trades are 45 days behind the market. everything is super unorganized. it takes much longer to move money in and out of the app than you need, it feels like your moneys trapped. the company tries to advertise there brand, but everything is so inflated. the app is terrible. they need to work on there software, charge less on transactions and stop worrying about trying to impress people. I’m disappointed more than anything. i gave this app too much credit. it feels like a pay to loose

I stopped the onboarding after being asked my SSN. Not sure what it needs to know my birthday, address, and size of my underwear before I can even review the application and its value. Looks fishy

App makes iPhone warm and hot. Also notice it drains battery fast with little use on app.
Dub, Copy Trade Anyone - Not
The Dub Copy Trade app looks promising, but I couldn’t fund my account due to Plaid incompatibility. I tried three different banks; none were supported. Since the app doesn’t list compatible institutions, onboarding was impossible, and I eventually deleted the app. Please publish supported banks or add alternative funding options.
Good app but poorly made
They have a million frontend bugs and you don’t really have much control at all over your money. I think it’s a really good app but probably only worth it if you have founders access. They also take a huge percent of your money when you withdraw which de incentives users to truly move money around. I think it’s a great idea but extremely poorly executed unfortunately.
