It’s difficult to trust this app while it violates privacy with Microsoft. I feel like I’ve been lied to by duck duck go. I hate that and it’s even more disappointing that the developers just don’t seem to care at all. This is a zero star app.

They claim ad blocking which is completely false.
Randomly won’t load websites STILL AN ISSUE
There are random times when duckduckgo won’t load any website. My wi-fi/cellular is clearly fine since I can use any other browser app and they work, but duckduckgo just won’t load anything. Either fix it or take this off the App Store. The developers are also cowards for not responding to and fixing these issues.

What good is it if you get last years info?????
Went to find out what was going on with NASCAR practice and qualifying for “today”. Only information I got on here was when it was scheduled and most of that information was for LAST YEAR!!! What good is it if you ask for today, and even put today’s date on the search. I literally had to go to Safari, which was my back up. If this AI or what ever is going on with this search engine, I’ll go back to Safari and Google.

On many occasions I asked it to be central and to not make assumptions about me. Often it would say it could tell I was frustrated or upset even after I said stop. Many times it would contradict itself when given facts outside of the bias programming. This app is not trustworthy and will feed you left talking points rather than remaining unbiased. I attempted this many times and it became argumentative and kind of had a temper tantrum. I just want an unbiased central ai that doesn’t give the opinions of its programmers.
Not a free VPN
Funny how an app can claim to be the one that blocked all scams! But advertise itself as a free VPN and as soon as you download the app, you have to choose a sub subscription! That’s lame! Just say there’s a subscription that’s all why do you have to lie about it? You weirdos!

Does it ever quit with the popups?
Tried to use it. Every site it was huge popups of "I JUST BLOCKED A GOOGLE REQUEST". K. Uninstalled after the 10th popup from duck duck go was demanding I turn on AI after having to turn it off in two places. Worst browser I've used in a long time. Might have been good before the AI phase.

ONE STAR: I put never snd shut off all with ddgo and their ai, and IN MY FACE AGAN. Answers? They ask more suspect, inappropriate questions than they provide answers. DDGO AI JUST EONT STOP! If privacy, then why do they alter my choice and return?

While its search engine is still yet to equal what a search engine was it’s no different than google with data tracking and selling out info. It’s what corpos do, now the ad blocking as they claim they do, it’s bare minimum to none. YouTube ads will still play and their ability to pull from the World Wide Web is not happening either. They puke up the same sites over and over again with an even stupider AI than Google. Same propaganda, same incorrectness 99% of the time. You tried but you’re not better or different enough to make surfing the web fun again. Those days of freedom are over.
Search engine needs work. Zero stars
Horrible search results. Still have to use horrible g search engine. Doesn’t block 3rd party trackers. Needs block popups. Need a home button. Browser freezes a lot. After testing for several months browser is filled with errors and needs fine tuning. Lots of sites are broken. Search is way off. Import passwords is an epic fail
