★★★★★ "Lots of luck involved, people take long turns. Too much luck involved, which is ok for casual games , but not for ranked games. People take long turns, turning a half hour to 45 minute game into one that takes over a hour. Hard pass" - torquay117

Not Spice Wars
I have never left a review on iTunes - and I have been here for 20 some years. Don’t buy this game. This game sucks. You think you will like it? You won’t. Do anything else.
Very disappointing
I love this game and this is a wonderful adaption of it. However, the devs recently changed it so that everyone in a game needs to own the expansions, without announcing either, probably to reduce backlash. This is pretty unacceptable behavior and I hope more people notice and complain.
Ai wont allow itself to lose
There seems to be a bug where you cant use an intrigue card if its underneath a blacked out intrigue card? Also the AI conveniently ALWAYS has the perfect cards to put their troop count above yours in the end game very suspicious
Great Game, Annoying Quirks
First, let me start by saying it pains me to leave this review. The board game itself is wonderful, but the app has too many bugs for the price tag.
anytime you bring the app to the foreground, you have to completely reload the state. 9 times out of 10, that looks like seeing an error screen, being spit back to the main menu, go to lobby, select your game, and wait another 15sec to 30sec while the game replays about the last round worth of activity.
something keeps login credentials from caching for very long, because every tenth or so time you're forced to log back in again.
notifications don't work at all, they force you through the same path as above.
I wish the game stored your last viewed state and only played you the changes since you last loaded. I've spent hours at this point rewatching things I've already seen
there's a setting to speed up board game moves, but ultimately it's a hack - it impacts your ability to take in what's happening when you actually care.
I've written a kind and lengthy email with feedback and never heard back. me and a few friends have been playing this game for over a year now - I'd say we tolerate the quirks.

Dune Imperium
The in-app expansion didn’t extend to my other devices. Difficult to play expansion on iPhone as icons are so small and screen often freezes (game has to be closed and restarted).
Um…WTF
This game makes no sense at all. There are symbols and icons all over the place. The tutorial does not provide any help understanding any of this. What is even the strategy here? Just drag cards to places on the board (or are they cards…terminology is not explained). Do some stuff, then press the Reveal button. Drag more stuff around and maybe you win a conflict? But you don’t have to win a conflict to win…huh? Use an Ability…what is an ability? What does it do? Why would I want to use it if I could even find where to select the ability from.
Too Complex
I am an avid fan of the Dune universe, so I was happy to purchase the game. Unfortunately, the game is to complicated and difficult for me to understand. I wish that I had not bought this game.
View Results broken
The view results function is broken in Async play. What’s the point in playing a game over a week and never knowing how it ended?
Fix Bug, Please
There is a bug when playing on iPhone(for reference I have an iPhone SE), when you hold 4+ cards in your hand and have multiple intrigue cards the cards in you hand will block out your intrigue cards and prevent you from playing them.
This has only really affected me once or twice but in a game today I was unable to play a key intrigue card which resulted in me losing an alliance with BG.
Would really love if the devs could take a look into this and fix it. I really really love this game and will happily change my review to a 5 star rating when this gets patched!
Thanks!!

Turn times are glitched and not long enough
Update: TERRIBLE **** game
Lost a game cause my turn just ended and I didn’t get to use my ring ability. Which would have allowed me to steal an alliance. Either the turn timer needs to have more time or something like BGA where you can over your turn timer once or twice a game without AI just taking over and finishing. A stupid app. TTS is still so much better than this garbage.

Boring
I don’t fully understand this game yet, however, right now it appears to be really, really boring.
Very poor
The game is so complicated with too many unknowns. The game is unplayable for very long. It is not worth buying.
Where is uprising
Pro- Great game. Good tutorial, great user interface great ai. Atmosphere is here with great sound effects.
Cons- No play and pass mode. Can’t make locations larger? There’s seems to still be a bug where you can’t expand the cards in your hand for viewing causing some misplace if you forget the reveal effects.

Amazing
Perfect, dont see bugs. Computer cheats lol. Great game tho
Keep getting booted from async!
What a waste of money if I want to play against others on async. We get booted and taken over by a bot after only 1-2 days of inactivity. I never would have dropped this much money on an app had I known this would happen. And there is not excuse for this. Please fix this! I am going to be staying away from Direwolf if this is not fixed.
Obtrusive DRM, no local multiplayer
After enjoying Dire Wolf’s implementation of Root, I was really expecting to enjoy Dune: Imperium digital (their original board game and one of my favorites on the table).
Unfortunately, there are some serious shortcomings. For one: after purchasing the expansion Rise of Ix, I can only play that expansion while connected to the internet. This is a major disappointment for me because I typically play digital board games on my iPad during long train or plane rides where I am not connected to the internet.
Lack of pass-and-play local multiplayer is a big let-down. Every other digitized board game I’ve played has it: Root, Wingspan, Everdell, etc. Not being able to play with a friend In sitting with is pretty lame.
I do enjoy the UI of the game and I think the AI opponents are fun to play against. But some assumptions made around how people will play have alienated me.

Such a jip
This game is such a jip. I’ve played it almost 30 times and only won once even though I’ve finished multiple games with above 12 VP. But if the computer gets 10VP then the games over. The game is so geared toward the computer winning it’s not fun all the time. It seems well designed but is so awfully geared towards the computers that it loses its fun.
