Auto Skip
Can we please do something about the auto skip problem. I want to complete all of the lessons in a unit section to better practice yet every time I have a perfect lesson or two in a row it skips all the way down to unit review marking everything complete.
Getting worse every day
The rate of deterioration in app quality over the past 3 months is shocking. Suddenly it seems to know nothing of my learning history and constantly drops new vocabulary and concepts in the “review” section. And despite paying for membership we are constantly pressured to “upgrade.” No thank you.

Just trying to login
Won’t let me log in to profile. They’ll send me a code, I’ll enter it, it doesn’t work. So can’t save any progress.

The “Upgrade” is Really a Downgrade
I use to like it better, but I guess it’s hard to complain too much for something that I don’t pay out of pocket for.

Completely Frustrating
The app does not move fast enough in timed challenges, thus you will not win them unless you purchase more time (on purpose to get more money even if you buy a year of super duolingo). The app keeps making me day things sounding like an American, what I mean is that if I say it with a French pronunciation like the characters, the app will not recognize it, then tell me how to say it and it is EXACTLY the way I was saying it multiple times, yet if I pronounce it with an American accent, it recognizes it , so how does it help with pronunciation you ask- it does not, is the answer. Get a different app, and don’t be a suckered into purchasing the super or max duolingo , because you will still have to spend more money on top of your membership if you want to achieve certain things.
Unfair when you miss a day by accident
When you lose your streak you might cry and delete Duolingo forever. I am never playing again
Duo using ai
Duolingo is using ai, yup you’ve just heard that. It’s May 2026 and now even language apps are using ai. I literally played a game against Oscar and I realized how was using an ai voice line. The voice was buggy, robotic, and had an awkward, annoying, and uncomfortable stupid tone. Hope they remove these ai voice lines.

This is not good for kids and for people of religious or commonsense background
This app showcases and makes it normal for same-sex relationship. How many of your users are in that number? You guys should consider removing those content. It’s not good for your company. We don’t care about your personal relationships but don’t use the education app for your political views. Why are you pushing this? Remove it. Your characters are not funny most of the time. Make them respectful. If this will not change, we will campaign against it.
Money and time
This app will do ANYTHING to get you to spend money and time on it. the adds for super, extra gems, timed xp boosts, streaks, and DONT, under any circumstances, enable the notifications.
Annoying at times
Was good the first few days but today I am trapped in a cycle of trying to match words fast enough but when I run out of time it wants more money to continue! RIP OFF
