Terrible update
I cannot find my recording anywhere now except under 'full transcript'. Which is stupid because a recording is not a transcript so it shouldn't be buried there in the first place.
Additionally, I can't find a way to share the recording. I have always been able to share the audio recording...until now. This is not intuitive. This has been frustrating all day. I do not need someone to write me back and tell me you apologize. Just fix it. And get user experience feedback before launching another terrible update. I'd like my money back frankly

BE CAREFUL @ LOGIN
I used this app with success for a couple months, but found out the hard way that the prompting you get to login (if you’re not really careful to do it exactly the same every time) where you can choose Apple versus Google, you’ll lose any notes that have been generated. While that might be considered user error, the support reaction to helping me sort through whether or not I could recover those notes has been totally useless. They’ve ghosted me almost immediately.
Pricey
Didn't even try it because I don't buy apps very often. IMaybe it's useful enough for some to pay for it but I don't need it.
Loved the app until I purchased a plan
I loved the app and then tried to purchase the yearly plan. The charge went through but the app does not reflect my subscription. I have reached out multiple times and support has not responded. So frustrating. I can’t recommend this while they are taking money and not providing the promised services.
Notes Deleted
This software works great at taking notes, ai summarizes everything nicely. Works great for Doctor’s appointments, business related topics, even Game related note taking…. However, I just went to look back over the notes I took a few months back, and they’re all gone. Nothing left from before 4 months ago. That’s a problem. Deleted without my knowledge and no ability to salvage…. That doesn’t do me any good. Thanks. I only have copies of the few items I shared which I’ll have to dig through to find. That sucks.

I had important meeting today to take notes and it just stop working deleted past notes so sad they where so important don’t get this app you can risk missing out on important documentation and notes do not get
Paid for premium an app crashed - where are my notes?
I have paid for years use of echo.. it does take quite a long time to process your notes, but it will let you record as it is processing. I use it every day several times a day. I’ve opened a helpdesk ticket for the outage and I have yet to receive a reply. I’ve gone all day without being able to take meetings notes because it just spins and spins and won’t load. I’ve restarted my phone. I’ve opened and close the app. There’s no support when something goes wrong.

I have had the app (plus version) I did an very important interview on 2/326 when I arrived home the recording was not there gone, I am pretty sure the recording is still on my phone and my question is how do I recover this file? Looking for an answer, not a happy customer right now due to,lack of support. Greg N
Poor support
Bought the weekly subscription. Wanted to upgrade to the yearly subscription, but there is no easy way to do so. Sent an email to their support address and no answer in over 3 days. Can someone from that company please get back to me ? I will gladly upgrade my rating once I get a reply. There needs to be a button to unsubscribe

App stopped working
App doesn’t work. It stopped working after 4 weeks. I reached out to Echo support because I had recordings that were valuable for work that would not transcribe or provide summaries. They actually stopped working altogether with no access and kept stating “Retry” repeatedly. Echo support engaged with me immediately, asking details of my problem, then ghosted me. I sent 6 additional emails with no reply. I will be cancelling my paid membership and moving to Otter Pro. After doing research they care about customers, have higher ratings and much less technical issues.

I am very unhappy with this app because it does not work. I tried recording two important meetings and it never generated the notes. And tech support is not helpful. This has been a complete waste of money for me. I do not recommend this app.
Not loading
Worked great for 3 or 4 recordings, was able to share files. Not not loading at all, meetings lost as I was only dependent on Echo. Bad choice.
Doesn’t work
Every time I record my notes it fails to generate, I created a support ticket and got ghosted , had to cancel my subscription
Rip offs
You guys are rip offs! You have thee plans. One is a weekly $7.99 and the other is the same but states weekly trial for $7.99. It’s all the same. Why the need to charge people weekly instead of monthly? Get it together with your confused plans! Seriously!
Error every time
Tried it 3 times now. Every time I get "an error occurred" after recording and clicking on "Generate Notes"

During several important meetings the app stopped in the middle and showed that message, and I ended up losing my notes and having to switch to paper. I also reached out to the developers and haven’t received any reply.
The idea has a lot of potential, but hidden limits, data loss, and unresponsive support make it very hard to recommend in its current state.

• It cut off in the middle of live meetings, so you lost notes
• You couldn’t find any mention of this limit in their documentation or store listing

User interface is horrible
This has to be the worst app I have ever used. The normal screen that should indicate how to start, pause, end, process, send, and store had on icon that if pressed starts a new recording and deletes the previous recording. Absolutely useless!

First experience
It transcribe all of the meeting notes into German. When it was set for English. Completely missed the mark.
Stopped working
the first 2 times I used it all work great, I was really impressed by the capabilities of the app, after a few times the app stopped working… it’s been 3-4 hours after my last meeting and still working on generating the notes…I also updated the SW but no change. I am very dissapointed because I lost important notes since I relied on the app for that… I hope the developer see this and help resolving the situation because I already paid…
App Not Working & No Support
My recordings are not being translated to notes. I have lost the recordings I was hoping to translate and I am paying for the app. I reached out to customer service with no response back. I would just like a refund please.
Not working so far
Recorded meeting using voice memos on iPhone and air dropped m4a file to M1 Max. Converted the .m4a to 3 other formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, & tried to upload each these files and every time an error message appeared with no details. Have reinstalled Echo. Will no accept audio files. No response from developer so far

Transferring the data is not easy efficient or effective. It’s impossible to find out what your billing is, what you’re paying everything is hidden.
Getting worse
I was so excited to have this when I first got it. The recording was great to have when needed and the formatting of the notes were easy to ready and understand what the meetings were about. But since the. I’ve really had nothing but issues. From the transcriptions and note formatting working intermittently. Then contacting tech support is a nightmare especially when you need your notes right always. It takes about a week to get a reply. You try the fix that doesn’t work. And for additional support you have to send another email. Welp there goes another week. While having some intermittent success. Now, my last two recordings have completely disappeared. Now been 3 days with no resolve.
Such an unpredictable and unreliable app. I love it the few times it works but I’ve more issues than success. I suggest paying for something else.

Didn’t work for long meetings
I tried this for a couple short meetings that worked great but then anything that I had over 30 minutes it cannot compile and download. What a waste.
Stupid
The least user-friendly app that I have ever used even if her exiting and restarting my phone. It is still recording my audio. For some reason whenever I use it, my phone overheats. I need to figure out how to delete my payment info for the stupid three day trial and then delete the app. They should be paying me because I feel like I’m at work.

Why translate?
Great app however it keeps translating the summaries in Spanish! Why!?!?

Not at all easy
I subscribed to the app and followed instructions. It would not record a single word. It would turn on just fine when there was nothing g to record but when it came time to perform it fumbled every time. Don’t buy this miserable piece of @&$@!!!

I hate when it says the app is free so you will download it but is not. Free 3 day trial but not free.
The app loses recording
I had a meeting recorded and when I went to follow up on notes I couldn’t find it. When I contacted support I was told that it is a known issue and there’s nothing to be done. I will go with some of the better apps that do the same thing and are cheaper
Where did my recording go??
Used it for the first time to record a meeting. Saw that the meeting was recorded on my phone. once I got home I tried to figure out how to save that recording. Never could get it to save. Created a folder. Went to save the recording in that folder, but all it would do was prompt me for a new recording. So I made a new recording to test it out. That ended up deleting the original recording. Total waste of a meeting. Should have tried another app. I’m deleting the app. It’s really disappointing that there are no instructions on how to use this product. It looks really nice, but obviously looks only go so far. I need some function hopefully, they’ll improve it.

Generates notes in the wrong language.
While using the free trial the app worked well however after paying the year subscription fee it has begun to behave very odd with a 50/50 chance that after a lecture ends the echo app will generate a note completely in Spanish even though the lecture was in complete English. I would not recommend purchasing this app unless you can fluently read Spanish.

Free trial scam
Shame on Tappz Labs. Be very careful during checkout. The developer internally made a decision to turn the free trial option off by default. The button and colors are designed in such a manner as to make it intentionally downplayed so that you miss it and get charged immediately. It is disappointing that Apple allows this dark pattern on a purchase screen.

Don’t ever accidentally pay for the Plus fun like I have. I accidentally pressed the Plus button and I have been unable to find any place to find any way cancel the subscription at all. It’s a huge scam. Beware!!
No support
Their support team is non existent. They send a canned message and if your issue is not on the list, they ask to send out another email. I sent out over 4-5 emails asking for update and nothing at all. Horrible support for a good product.
Not worth it
I used it for the first and last time today. Listened to a very important lecture today. The first part of the lecture it did just fine. Second it seemed like it was about to glitch. 3rd lecture got stuck for when I tried yo download the notes so I lost the audio, 4th lecture for some reason the summary of the lecture pulled up in Spanish but the transcript showed English.

I recorded a really important meeting and clicked the generate notes button. Its an hour long meeting so its taking a while. I come back to the app hoping its ready to go and there are no notes and the recording is gone. Be very careful trusting really important stuff to this app. Thats a pretty significant bug there.
