Crashes
I've had this app for a few years now and it seems to be crashing each time I use it now.
Won’t play recording.
I got this several years ago for 20$. I now have iPhone 13 Pro. Still doesn’t play back. Hope it made you some money. I’ve tried it on many occasions. Appears real and interesting. You cannot understand any voices tho. I recently went to Waverly Hills Sanatorium and if I had used this in good faith to hear back anything I would be really upset. But it won’t ever play back a recording so I didn’t use it. But I got to see and hear things amazing without it. Please fix that. I love the spirit world and this is just not cool according to how it’s described.

Disgustingly over rated & over priced
There’s so much chatter it’s almost impossible to pick up any LOOPED words. After awhile you’ll likely get a headache. Extra buttons are useless. It’s actually sickening how much this guy charges when there hasn’t been an update in 2 years AND so many people want a refund including me! Apple denied my request go figure! No developer website listed? Imagine that! Ghost Detector free version is better! Now I’m stuck with this horrible excuse for an app! ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH A PENNY!
I would like a refund please :)
Purchased the app today and it is not working properly. The record feature automatically closes out the app everytime I try to turn it on, and there are other attributes I cannot get to work effectively. On the Necrophonic app I’m able to hear several full sentences per session from spirit. I can only hear chopped up words on this app and I would really like a refund. I’ll remove this review after getting a refund. Thank you
Crashes with iPhone 11?
This app crashes each time I try to start recording on my iPhone 11. Is this something you are currently trying to resolve? I would love to use this app, so I’m hoping it will be fixed soon! Thank you!
Update needed
Kicks you off and now the burst and sound loop cuts out and there is no sound.
Would adore a refund
It shuts down after about 2-3 minutes. I was first told to delete and reinstall. Didn’t work. Then I was told to turn of reverb and not to use an external speaker. Still shuts down. I am so not happy. Our team so far has three investigations coming up and this so called great app is now useless for me.

What a joke I need my refund only does your echo I a different sound wow I’m scared give me my money back
No wireless Bluetooth support
One has to be fairly imaginative and a believer to make actual phonetic discovery. My wireless Bluetooth doesn’t connect whenever I try to start a session.
Does not record well
I loved using Echo Vox on my pad it worked well and recorded fine but with the iPhone 7 it doesn’t record the voices, unfortunately this makes using this app pointless unless you can capture the voice. I’d love it if this could be fixed but until then I will be using other ghost hunting tools
Sound issue...
I bought and then downloaded this on both my phone and iPad and I cannot hardly hear any sound come out of it. Yes I’ve had an external speaker hooked up and it’s just as low of sound as the speaker on the iPhone or iPad itself. my speakers work just fine on any other app or when I have hooked it up to anything else. And it can’t be my phone bc the sound works just fine any time besides when I try to use this. I’ve searched how to fix this issue and I just can’t find an answer that works. I probably can’t get a refund so a fix to this issue would be great.

Update is great but...
So glad to see the update. Found settings on 3.0 I like... however on the iphone 6plus it is very buggy. Won’t always play back! Sometimes saves a session I named but most of the time it’s not saving the recordings. Then suddenly the recording appears if I close the app and reopen, but I just tried again and now that’s not working. Sometimes it will play a recording and then not. I deleted and redownloaded the app, but it didn’t fix the issue.
Poor sound
I just bought this not even a hour ago and the volume is horrible I have a iPhone 7 plus so no plug for speaker only Bluetooth I'd like my money back as this was not worth 20.00 to not hear what's being said . I had high hopes for this app :(

I can only hear the volume by holding phone to my ear, the sound doesn't come thru the speaker. Very annoying.
Upgrades needed some 2014
I payed my $19.99. Worked fine on an iPhone 4 & 4S. Even paid the $19.99 again to be able to have access to this app when I got the iPhone 6. It did not work. Can't play back anything. Now I have upgraded my phone to an iPhone 6s Plus still no echovox upgrade. That's a scam. Buy my other upgraded products because this is not an exact science...but don't bother to tweak what you allegedly were working so hard on. Upgrade or fix the playback problem. I so use a recorder but when I can't I should have the option to use headphones to hear play back!!
Does not connect to Bluetooth
I spent $20 + tax to buy this app for my iPhone 6. I tried playing win the app, but I can't hear anything clearly without an external speaker. I bought a speaker with Bluetooth today and it doesn't let me connect the app to the device. All my other apps connect to my new speaker except the Echovox. I've come across a few others with this issue. Very disappointed, as of now I regret this purchase. Hopefully the guy fixes this issue with the next update, for now STAY AWAY from the iOS version of this app!
Big $$$ for NOTHING
Because of coming across a couple videos on you tube decided to try this. I don't think it works at all. Waste of money quite frankly👎🏻

App not recording
I purchased the echovox app on 2-10-15. It is on an iPhone 5. It does not record anything. Can someone please contact me for help or refund?
Disappointing
This app does exactly what it says it does, however, it's very difficult to make any sense of the gibberish in the voices. There are a lot of different voices, all at the same time, so you have a hard time following them, and what they say. Had I known this, I wouldn't have spent $19.99 on it. That's very expensive as far as apps go, so I had expected more for the money. I wish I could get a refund.

This app worked for less than a day and now I'm finding out it isn't compatible with the new ios8 update. Any fixes in place to correct this? Seriously requesting a refund. Don't waste your money on something that doesn't work.
Couldn’t get it to work
I have an iPhone 5s & the new iPad Air & downloaded the App on both. I was really excited after watching some videos of this app in action.
I’m running the new OS X 8 software on both. I can’t get the app to run at all. The buttons move. I can turn on the echo & the other buttons work. You hit start & you hear your voice & an immediate reply. Then no other replies at all unless you hit the stop button which by the way doesn’t stop the program. You immediately hear a reply each time you hit the stop button but again it doesn’t stop anything. I have an external speaker hooked up to my iPhone & iPad when trying to get it to work.

When you hit the Start button the button at the top spins around like something should be happening but no replies until you hit the stop button which again doesn’t stop anything. It remains on stop but everything keeps going. No replies unless you hit the stop button & you get 1 reply. The program keeps going it doesn’t stop. Confused & feel cheated out of the money unless someone can help me figure out if I’m doing something wrong.

huge bug needs fixing, once resolved I’ll raise my review to five stars
if the app didn’t have a huge bug in it where it turns off every time I attempted to record because it has a pretty decent recording system, editing and playback(or at least it looks decent, I’m yet to try it) if that was fixed I’d give five stars , then I’d give it five stars cause it’s a pretty good app but I’d really like them to fix The issue because I can’t record anything using their app and it’s a pain finding a recording I have not trying to charge me monthly or something ridiculous
Needs Improvement
I researched this app before buying and even at $20 took the plunge. As of yet, I'm unable to decipher what the box is saying, not to mention, even with headphones it's hard to make out. I've noticed on YouTube there's reviews for a 3.0 version, which has me questioning why this one is only 2.0. Anyway, buyer beware. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

I just updated my iPhone 5s to IOS 8 and Echovox is no longer working. Complete sadness! Please fix to work with update.
