Maybe this works well on small models, but this thing completely falls on its face when you try to open up anything remotely complex, even on an M2 iPad.
EDrawings is not productive.
This app is a joke. Owning an automation engineering company that has use SW since 96’ it’s a joke. I wish things worked like they used to. I could say more but it definitely not worth anything. Even if it was free. They just don’t care. As engineers we collaborate and communicate all day long and wish the tools we are forced to use work.
It doesn’t work with file over 60 mb - No point to pay $2
The app just gets stuck rendering a file of 60 mb. What’s the point to have this for .easm files viewer if it doesn’t work!
I bought it for opening and viewing files larger than 60 mb, sections of facilities to build that should be effectively discussed when outside the Construction Site. This will never happen using this app.

It just doesn’t work, doesn’t even start. I’ve got an iPhone X... and this is bizarre, app just doesn’t open. Neither when you start it myself nor when you open a fairly simple model with it. First time that I pay for an app and it can’t do -anything-
2020 not supported
The supposed 2020 file support is not true. This does not open 2020 SWFiles.

Downloaded the app and the sample data that comes with the app works like it should.
When I try to open parts or drawings or assemblies something opens on the app but no data is displayed and I can zoom, rotate and select the views without any data shown.
Contacted customer service and got an email back asking some questions about my device but did not hear anything back after my response a month ago.

It’s not compatible with 2019 files and won’t open them so don’t buy this unless you want older versions of cad operating systems.
Can’t view 2019 solid works files
It’s awesome for older files, but in a recent upgrade to solid works 2019 I discovered that this app is completely worthless.
Does not support 2019 solidworks.
As title says, it is not opening files saved in 2019 solidworks. I will update review when it is fixed.

Highway robbery
I cannot open any of my own files. This app only opens the example files that come pre-packaged with the app. Pretty much you will pay $1.99 to have the eDrawings icon on your home screen. That's all the functionality you will get out of it until they fix the bugs.
No longer shows decals and other visual features
Long-time user. You can no longer see my decals that were viewable on all previous versions and my models are displayed with excessive glare that makes it impossible to discern the individual parts and details making this relatively usless for me. I tried SolidWorks and eDrawing formats: same result. I contacted SolidWorks and they replied this is a known issue and there is no workaround. It has been several months now. I am an owner of SolidWorks Professional since 2009 and have had their maintenance plan the whole time ie. I have paid them well over $15,000.00. Nevermind all the SolidWorks features that don't work. Trust me, I'm looking elsewhere.

It would be worth it....
The app doesn't allow you to load a file from a cloud drive. When viewing my drawings on google drive there is no option to open in the app. Same thing when viewing email attachments. It's not worth any penny if you can't even view your drawings. Please update your app!!! This app could be so good.
Doesn't work
Can't get it to open from any program. Google drive, Evernote, native email, Safari. iOS doesn't recognize its even downloaded, doesn't display in settings/apps. $2 wasted.

Used to be able to open files from Google drive or drop box. Seems the app has not been updated to work with ios9 well or with the latest cloud storage solutions. it's is now unusable - as the original features simply do not work. Needs update. So very disappointing to come back to a great app that is now just obsolete.
frequent crashes

Unable to open any of my files
I am using an iPad mini with iOS 9.2.1. The app did not let me even try to open any of my own files, let alone SolidWorks files. So, unfortunately it is useless to me. I'm glad I only bought the basic app for $2 and not the proverbs ion for $10. I don't want my money back, I want what I paid for.

I need my money back. App does not show up on my list of Open In apps so I can't import anything I need to view. Viewing nice sample files alone is not going to cut it. Very disappointed! I am using an IPhone 6

Garbage
Can't even open a file. Use A360 from Autodesk. It works just fine.

App won't import my files from either email or iCloud. Haven't attempted tethering to a computer with iTunes.

Crashes, crashes, then crashes again. I'd say "Not quite ready for Prime Time". Even the demo AR video crashes. Glad I didn't pay for the "Pro" version. Sorry, this app is a big fat ZEEE-RO in my book. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR DEVICE MEMORY ON THIS USELESS ATTEMPT OF AN APP!!!

After I paid for a app you get a Pro one out without giving me the options via an in app purchase so I have to waste the money I previous spend? Horrible.

Does not correctly update a revised model on an iPad 2
Despite repeated attempts to open a revised eDrawing on my iPad 2, the app will only open a previous eDrawing version that no longer exists anywhere. Same eDrawing model will open correctly on my iPhone 4s. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but app will not show the latest eDrawing on my iPad. App needs work. iOS up to date on both devices. Using Dropbox to hold files.
Waste
Just downloaded to view a file. That was a quick waste of time and money. My cell shows 49GB available yet the app shuts down after saying the memory is low.

When you pay money for an app to help you work while away from your computer and that app is unreliable (crashes upon opening anything) it leads to 1 star reviews. That being said, if you would like to raise your blood pressure or work on your ability to cope with anger, then I would recommend you purchase this!
I cannot believe the screen shots actually load
Was hoping this would be a solution for portable dwg files but the app blows - it cannot handle the 2.8mb file I need to view. Next...

What Happened??
I upgraded to iOS 6 and now all of my .sdlprt, .slddrw and .sldasm files try to open as .eprt files. I am not able to view any of my files. This has crippled me at work. Is there a fix coming?

It took way too long for eDrawings to make it's way to the iPad. I'm glad it's finally here but, to make it truly useful, it really needs DropBox integration. Having to load files via iTunes is far too cumbersome and severely truncated in-field usability.
