Slows down
Eero slows down on purpose so that you update it. It also does not make sense that it needs to update more than an phone sheesh . It was good while it lasted

My app is not fully loading on my iPhone. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating apple updates, repoweringmodem - all of the obvious things but no luck. I need help.

You shouldn’t need an app
Cool router, but you shouldn’t have to have an app to configure things. Makes me wonder what kind of data they collect off of you.
Worst router I’ve ever used
Only ONE Ethernet port out, can’t choose what band to connect your devices to so have fun trying to cast or stream from other devices to your tv. “Oh but it has 6ghz” yea and? What devices can even use it? Certainly not my brand new LG OLED or my Xbox, not even my phone. App lacks most network controls.
The app provides no means to diagnose a satellite problem.
Of 1 Eero 6 router and 2 satellites, one of the satellites won’t connect. The app just keeps retrying endlessly. There is no diagnostic capability at all. So… now what?
Gaming
The Eero Home Device has only two Ethernet ports, which shouldn’t be that big of a deal but the system does not support IP defragmentation which means that the modem supplied by US Cellular (which only submits a wired signal goes into the Titan device and then wires the internet to the Eero thus providing WiFi. Here is some of the issues however, your a phone and the Eero app are tied together, if I don’t keep my phone on the Eero network it sometimes does not work properly. You are very limited in the capabilities of this system. I actually get faster more reliable internet from the hotspot of my Iphkne as opposed to WiFi or wired internet gameplay in my PS4. The whole reason I purchased this kit was for protected wired stable internet. Because of the cellular connection based on priority, I cannot adjust the output of the WAN connection, the maximum that I have ever gotten is 124 MBPS. This is a 1 Gig setup mind you. I have had my whole system replaced before and it’s expensive, nearly 100 dollars a month due to proprietary equipment. I’m getting fiber internet tomorrow. My century link 10 years ago was 3.5 and I could play online games with it for 35 dollars a month. I do not recommend

Can’t turn off 5GHz indefinitely
I can’t create a separate 2.4 GHz network, I can’t customized a device to work on 2.4 GHz only, I Can’t turn off 5GHz indefinitely. I have a Sonos equipment that work best on 2.4 GHz. Please fix it to do advance configuration.
terrible product design
i need to set a static ip but clicking the button to do so in the app literally does nothing and doesn’t even let me configure it. and, oh yeah, absolutely no way to interface with the router whatsoever except for the app. so until that starts working again i just can’t use my equipment 👍

Usually, I’m able to use a website I use regularly for exploits/executors for Roblox. Apparently, the app/website was blocked by eero. And I don’t even have this app installed!

1 star had to use a new email and phone number
Since update it’s been a nightmare
The app update two nights ago threw my frontier-box into a meltdown. First the shows ground to a halt or were so out of sync it was impossible to watch. Then email App Store, Facebook and the eero app its self began to freeze. Now I have no ability to get onto the eero app (it keeps says sorry or try again later-and believe you me I have) a blinking blue eero and all I can get from Frontier is a new Eero in two to three business days. They said probably due to a surge. What kind of update renders my WiFi useless? I don’t think it fixed any bugs that’s for sure. I am very disappointed. Luckily I have a small window with no video visits but for daily use I am very displeased.

Please Fix Broken Live Data Usage
Live Data Usage is completely broken. 99% of the time it just shows 0’s. Sometimes it shows the actual data usage after a few minutes of staring at the screen. This is ridiculous. 1% of the time it works. This needs to be fixed. I found people have been complaining about this for YEARS. There is no reason this should be an issue.
Bad products, app is fine
I have had a absolutely horrible experience with the eero routers, and would 100% never buy again nor recommend them. The eero constantly blocked ports, and I was therefore unable to play certain games with my console.
Connection
So I’m trying to connect to my euro to Amazon and I cannot. It’s asking me for my Amazon password and in username so my husband and I had our accounts together and so I’m trying to contact either euro or Amazon because I cannot login. It says my account may be compromised well yeah it is compromise. I’ve been telling everybody that is a compromise, but I can’t connect to anybody to do anything about it like, how do I connect to Amazon? How do I connect to euro it’s gonna continuously be compromise. I’m just gonna shut it down.
Trash after every firmware update.
The entire network ALWAYS failed after latest firmware update that was just running smoothly. EERO should change the brand name to ERROR.
Not Intuitive
Lots of bugs. Network crashes without warning and the app is virtually useless at assisting. Bought this mesh system due to the high ratings on C/net and now I’m thinking they have some sort of financial incentive behind the sales. My old Google WiFi network lasted 6 years without a hiccup but thought I needed to upgrade to a better, faster system. Should have done more homework I guess.

I bought an eero 6 to extend my spectrum service and could not set the device up from the app. App could not see the device. It expected an Ethernet port that the device didn’t have. Incredibly disappointed in this product.

Already having problems during initial setup
Yeah can’t stand when all they send you is the legal printed out and you’re encountering issues when it’s supposed to be an easy setup

I get notifications for the eero app all the time but there’s no place in the eero app to view them

2026 January - Eero app will not load on iphone 15
Worked great including monitoring elder relation’s network systems far away. Did all the suggestions to try to get eero to load. Have to now access eeros by my ipad.

Not too impressed… Seem to go offline out of the blue. At least once a week. Have to unplug and plug back in is the only way to get it going again. Not too impressed. Seems to work ok when connected.
Wifi hasn’t worked in a week!
We just got astound a week ago and it has had problems since we got it. They have sent multiple technicians out and the wifi still doesn’t work. I don’t know if this is a issue with the lines or is it something else. Not saying I don’t recommend getting eero just make sure it works before you get it.
Constantly having to re-sign into devices
It’s extremely frustrating that I have to re-sign into devices quite frequently. Every other device, on every other day, I’ll have to re-enter my WiFi password. It’s a huge inconvenience.
It seems like I also have trouble connecting new devices as well. It’s so much trouble that I’ve gotten to a point that I just don’t even try to connect my devices. Very disappointing.

Buggy
Try and set up your internet backup with this if your blood pressure is too low or you want to test your anger management skills. App keeps demanding that I connect my personal device to the eero network before I can edit this. I am on the eero network! I shut off cellular data, tried airplane mode with WiFi on, and all sorts of other suggestions from the internet. Stupid message keeps popping up and preventing me from using the only thing I wanted to get when I subscribed to eero’s plan.well, at least I can cancel my subscription and save a few bucks.
