You also MUST download their app for setup. I’m just a fan of the normal WiFi. This is too much and certainly not more continent.

We’ve used eero for a long time and it was flawless and did its job. However, this latest update has ruined everything!!! I’m so upset, it constantly drops and is a major inconvenience! Do better and fix this issue that so many ppl on so many platforms, social media, neighbors etc are reporting.
Setup nightmare
It took me 3 hours to set up. Including a 54 minute call with support who could not help me. I eventually connected after dozens of attempts.

Shouldn’t need an Amazon account to setup WiFI
Just another data grab from Amazon to track us. Also can’t set up without giving my phone number. These companies have gotten way too comfortable invading our privacy.

Lacks multiple ports to feed hardwired devices. Difficult to setup and connect to TV’s and hardwired desk top computer. Very week signal despite dealer telling me this would cover my home

Frozen
App opens up and it’s frozen. Downloaded app on another app f my devices and it works. But I need to make changes and it’s asking to be on the app on my phone that’s frozen. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

You have messed up your app
It has automatically logged me out. I use my passkey. I verify my phone. It asks for my email. I enter it and try to verify it and it says the email is already in use. Please use another one. It will not allow me to login under my existing account. It won’t send me a code if I just enter my phone number to sign in. I am so sick of these apps always screwing up.

Physical devices are super inconsistent. App lies if things are working. Can’t see why things aren’t working. Just a disappointing entire experience.

I bought the router with my Ring alarm pro and it has been a nightmare. Do not recommend. Lack basic functions, do not integrate, poor connection and push for subscription.
Eero backup is broken
Since March the auto failover is broken. I cannot fail over to T-

Slows down
Eero slows down on purpose so that you update it. It also does not make sense that it needs to update more than an phone sheesh . It was good while it lasted

My app is not fully loading on my iPhone. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating apple updates, repoweringmodem - all of the obvious things but no luck. I need help.

You shouldn’t need an app
Cool router, but you shouldn’t have to have an app to configure things. Makes me wonder what kind of data they collect off of you.
Worst router I’ve ever used
Only ONE Ethernet port out, can’t choose what band to connect your devices to so have fun trying to cast or stream from other devices to your tv. “Oh but it has 6ghz” yea and? What devices can even use it? Certainly not my brand new LG OLED or my Xbox, not even my phone. App lacks most network controls.
The app provides no means to diagnose a satellite problem.
Of 1 Eero 6 router and 2 satellites, one of the satellites won’t connect. The app just keeps retrying endlessly. There is no diagnostic capability at all. So… now what?
Gaming
The Eero Home Device has only two Ethernet ports, which shouldn’t be that big of a deal but the system does not support IP defragmentation which means that the modem supplied by US Cellular (which only submits a wired signal goes into the Titan device and then wires the internet to the Eero thus providing WiFi. Here is some of the issues however, your a phone and the Eero app are tied together, if I don’t keep my phone on the Eero network it sometimes does not work properly. You are very limited in the capabilities of this system. I actually get faster more reliable internet from the hotspot of my Iphkne as opposed to WiFi or wired internet gameplay in my PS4. The whole reason I purchased this kit was for protected wired stable internet. Because of the cellular connection based on priority, I cannot adjust the output of the WAN connection, the maximum that I have ever gotten is 124 MBPS. This is a 1 Gig setup mind you. I have had my whole system replaced before and it’s expensive, nearly 100 dollars a month due to proprietary equipment. I’m getting fiber internet tomorrow. My century link 10 years ago was 3.5 and I could play online games with it for 35 dollars a month. I do not recommend

Can’t turn off 5GHz indefinitely
I can’t create a separate 2.4 GHz network, I can’t customized a device to work on 2.4 GHz only, I Can’t turn off 5GHz indefinitely. I have a Sonos equipment that work best on 2.4 GHz. Please fix it to do advance configuration.
Not very useful on a daily basis
Very little control over notifications. When you click on a notification it just opens the app. It doesn’t take you to any info related to the notification. No integration with Alexa, which boggles the mind. They can’t talk to each other at all, even when connected.

The app is very easy to use but lags behind google nest. It would be nice if the following features could be added:
- Device Priority
- Permanently disconnecting devices from the network
- Full list of devices with access to the WiFi network that is always accessible regardless of device status in order to see what devices have access to the WiFi

Already having problems during initial setup
Yeah can’t stand when all they send you is the legal printed out and you’re encountering issues when it’s supposed to be an easy setup

I get notifications for the eero app all the time but there’s no place in the eero app to view them

disappointed to lose this app on mac, have to get my phone instead
