No parental controls
You cannot decide an age level, nor appropriate reading level for this app. Even when you are paying, there was just “set an age” but they can still access anything. There’s no way to remove things you don’t want your 4 year old reading. If I’m going to pay for something, that is marketed as family friendly and safe for kids, there should be a way to set what your child is allowed to access.

You removed bear the book about a dog who was a seeing eye dog but went blind and make wolves of the beyond available at school please you really need to re add bear i have not used at school ever since the removal because i miss it so much that i hate you for the removal if you could get a way to get it back you have too and i got super upset about not being able to listen to wolves of beyond at school I don’t got money and if i did the trial would auto pay for the subscription if i didn’t cancel after reading them all

This showed up when searching for Teddy Ruxpin, but doesn't seem to be related.
I was hoping that this would be just Teddy Ruxbin, since that was what I searched for, and it gave me the option to re-download, and I never had the Epic app, which does have an affiliation with Jazwares, who bought wicked cool toys, who made the newer Teddy Ruxpin. Very disappointing, because I'd like to have access to the Teddy Ruxbin books that I purchased before, but now it shows that I have to have a subscription. I just want access to what I already purchased.

I was trying to sign up for a new account and after attempting for 2 hours, I finally got in, only for it to say I can’t read a book.
Why?.
So I saw an add for this and it said that this was free. How misleading! I can’t believe it!
Trustworthy Dad Review
This app sucks don’t waste your time/money. It’s pure trash. 15 bucks a month for what?? Trash books with a few that have a.i. voiceovers and videos that don’t work (thumbnail gets stuck in front of all videos). The books for toddlers are the worst I’ve ever read. So basic and short it’s sad. “This is a train. The train goes choo choo. Bye train. The end.” Just go get your kids some books or library card.

OK, my last use Epic! today. It was great and I loved reading some of the books from when I was a kid but you’re telling me I have to pay $14 a month just to have 40,000 books to read and you guys are telling me that this is an app made for kids so you’re having a little kids pay $80 yeah I don’t think so overall the app is great. I just think you just really need to remove the payment because from everything I saw about the ad, I was told this was a kids app not an app trying to get kids to pay money once again everything was great. I just think you need to remove the payments.
