That’s so bad it doesn’t even increase when you do more pulls, there hasn’t been any skippable characters this year except Monarch of the Sword Iseria, like honestly if you can play this game with these horrible rates then your commitment must be insane because I am tired of this game, also the drought in this game is really bad, this applies to basically every gacha game but this game has it bad. You complete the 3 Week Rotation events and then do the others and then it’s just boring you can play PVP like Arena and Guild War, but that’s basically the only things you can do when there’s not new content, it gets repetitive and boring and I’m saying this as a person who has played for years. Please improve your game, Smilegate.

Even if you pull a bunch of 5-star characters, you still need to farm a huge amount of high-end gear before you can compete in Arena. In World Arena, the matchmaking immediately throws you against veteran players. There’s no beginner protection and no proper matchmaking based on player progression, so you just get completely crushed.
Character leveling, gear upgrading, and gear rolling all consume an enormous amount of time and resources. In the end, gearing is basically a speed race-if your units are slower, you usually lose.
For me, it’s simply not worth the investment. It’s a shame because the character animations, artwork, and designs are excellent.
But when I weigh the effort versus the rewards, I don’t think it’s worth spending my time on. The game feels like it’s designed mainly for long-time veteran players to entertain themselves. The game balance is terrible.
The developers are truly “geniuses”-the further you progress, the harder it becomes to obtain resources, and the more difficult the content gets. Everything is designed to slow you down and keep you grinding.

I just lose over and over again. Everyone that plays this game absolutely grinds it like crazy. No such thing as casual here and it requires you to do online PvP

Everything in this game is paid. If you want to get a specific character, you'll have to pay to obtain him. The drop rate for this character is very low. The quality of the game leaves much to be desired.

they added a new update to try and recover players, but all the new heroes are painfully powercrept to the point to where you need them to get past gold rank. not to mention that all of the new units are the highest rarity, most expensive units. game used to be fun but its clearly taking its last dying breaths and milking whoever will still play.

This game has a lot of cheaters and a lot of bugs when I play arena my game crashes as soon as I’m about to win, especially if it’s someone that I’ve been trying to beat for days. I can’t report anyone and it irritates me that I lose my streak in arena over cheaters or the fact that the game crashes other than that the game has great animations

Still feels like you need the newest hero(es) in order to do anything in rta. Loved playing rta because I got to gauge myself against other people. Unless you’re willing to spend hundreds on summoning + hours background farming on a laptop/burner phone, you’re not going to make any significant progress compared to everyone else. The welcome back rewards were nice, but I didn’t get anything significant out of it. The pull rates are horrible, the skill curve is an uphill battle, the newest heroes blow all the old ones out of the water and they can’t even be considered for rta, then to top it all off the best heroes are locked behind mystic summons that the game rarely gives out. This game is just grind central. If you want a game where that loves graining your money, this is the game for you.

Not worth it
I can’t anymore with this game, I wanna like it I really do, but the devs have nerfed the rng against you so badly, raised the difficulty so severely, currently I’m stuck at a boss that I’ve been trying to beat for 2 weeks now, I’ve even spent money to try to level up because the xp material hardly drops and gold hardly drops. This just isn’t fun anymore, it’s not irritating anymore, I just don’t wanna play anymore
Forced PVP RTA
Out of any game I’ve ever played over 20 years, RTA is the worst game mode that is forced upon people. This is a mobile game not a competitive PVP sport.. the standard refrain of get good and all of that does not change the fact of poor gameplay and design. It’s become unplayable yet is forced in order to get a silly skin. Even with every unit and hours of play and videos on YouTube, I still cannot get the skin. It’s not skill when a single person can wipe out entire team game after game. If it was not for GVG, this game would have died a long time ago.
Poorly balanced and heavily unoptimized
The game crashes constantly looking at heroes you own? Crash. Doing a battle? Crash. Swapping heroes in a team? Crash. Using a hero’s skill with an animation? Crash. Every single time you input an action you run the risk of crashing forcing you to reopen the game and reload over and over again. This has been an issue for as long as the game has been out I have had it on multiple phones new and old and been plagued with crashes because they have fatal coding errors that just break the game constantly. Despite this they have no resume battle option built in so if you crash in the middle of a battle womp womp forced to lose and suffer a loss which means you fall in PVP and lose energy in PVE. Even if the game was playable the PVP meta is to spend money and hope you get good RNG and roll good stats on gear or you can’t play. The meta constantly updates of course by releasing a new overpowered character that becomes meta and then releasing a newer more overpowered character to beat that one, rinse and repeat. In order to stay relevant your income has to be dedicated to the game meaning people are severely lacking in skill not that it matters as almost every single thing in the game is just tied to RNG mechanics forcing you to be luckier than your opponent or just retry PVE battles until you win.

almost entirely a pvp game now, they took everything and plan to focus on pvp even harder. No point in playing the game anymore since you’ll never win without money and perfectly built characters. Used to play this game for hours just reading the side stories and killing monsters. Now the game is mainly whose account is worth more. I’d rate ZERO stars if I could. I miss epic 7 this is not epic 7 anymore

I can’t do any battling anymore because every time I want to start a battle, the game freezes. Happens in arena, episode and battle. Everything else works.

Played for a few years. After a while, it gets boring. They create a problem, they make a fix, they create a problem, they make a fix. It’s old now. Also guilds are trash. Watch out for RGODs. They will kick you for just having a life outside of the game.
Terrible Customer Support
Customer Support refuses to help out when an account gets deleted due to malicious intent/hacked. I requested help immediately after noticing something was wrong but they refuse to help. Why do they make the delete account on all server or reset server so confusing and easy to wipe everything without extra security.

Trying to give this game a chance it but crashed three times and gave error codes at least five times when trying to download data on the first screen.

Broken functionality
When running full screen on my Apple Silicon Mac the screen saver will trigger freezing action on the game, but when I’m playing windowed it never happens.
Need More?
This game asked for 9Gb and took 12Gb to only get to about 70% download. It’s a subpar game that will take as much storage as you let it. Don’t waste your time with this one unless you want to have a game hold about 20Gbs of your storage before even launching.

PvP gone downhill
Been playing since the beginning, pvp used to be enjoyable as there were many different team builds in arena, now it’s all 3 broken characters, Frieren, Setsuka, and lady of the scales. Almost every team in champion and up has at least one of these 3 in it. No more variety anymore just spam these way over powered characters and win. Climbing arena has become a let down.

I love playing this game so much but lately it keeps crashing when I’m in the middle of battles, either killing my win streaks in arena or causing me to lose war battles. Really frustrating :(
Good story, bad game play
They need to sell units so regardless of what u got, they will be always something better, the issue is the value of your unit depreciates so fast. So there will always be a meta only whales can compete in, everyone else is a peasant. As if they don’t learn from the mistakes.

It’s a great game so far I have been busy and stuff but it pains me how much is behind a paywall. Like exclusive equipment and characters that you may not get unleash you pay or put a lot of time into it and the % of getting things is ridiculous. I wish I could just have something I’m not grinding for a dam hour or 2 just to get the Chance for a character you want. But it sits on a fine line. But if you’re not there for certain events you can miss out a bit. I kinda wish they had an option to play offline for the story I would 100% rethink my life. Because that would make this game the best. Not everyone has an internet connection all the time. Good luck my fellows I hope you can find some kind of balance in your life. Too many pay to win mechanics. If they just made the % higher for players to get Mystic medals for hunt and secret shop i would not complain.
Typical, Unbalanced, Pay-to-Win Trash
This game hasn’t changed over the years. The difficulty/progression is terrible & eventually becomes impossible if you don’t fork over $100s in the cash shop.
Bosses are given extremely cheap mechanics, there are tons of FOMO characters that are heavily unbalanced.
Bugs that have existed for years still haven’t been fixed. To sum up, don’t waste your time with this one & certainly don’t spend any money.
