Absolutely everything is paid
Everything in this game is paid. If you want to get a specific character, you'll have to pay to obtain him. The drop rate for this character is very low. The quality of the game leaves much to be desired.

they added a new update to try and recover players, but all the new heroes are painfully powercrept to the point to where you need them to get past gold rank. not to mention that all of the new units are the highest rarity, most expensive units. game used to be fun but its clearly taking its last dying breaths and milking whoever will still play.

Pvp not worth it
This game has a lot of cheaters and a lot of bugs when I play arena my game crashes as soon as I’m about to win, especially if it’s someone that I’ve been trying to beat for days. I can’t report anyone and it irritates me that I lose my streak in arena over cheaters or the fact that the game crashes other than that the game has great animations

Unless you’re willing to spend hundreds on summoning + hours background farming on a laptop/burner phone, you’re not going to make any significant progress compared to everyone else. The welcome back rewards were nice, but I didn’t get anything significant out of it. The pull rates are horrible, the skill curve is an uphill battle, the newest heroes blow all the old ones out of the water and they can’t even be considered for rta, then to top it all off the best heroes are locked behind mystic summons that the game rarely gives out. This game is just grind central. If you want a game where that loves graining your money, this is the game for you.

Not worth it
I can’t anymore with this game, I wanna like it I really do, but the devs have nerfed the rng against you so badly, raised the difficulty so severely, currently I’m stuck at a boss that I’ve been trying to beat for 2 weeks now, I’ve even spent money to try to level up because the xp material hardly drops and gold hardly drops. This just isn’t fun anymore, it’s not irritating anymore, I just don’t wanna play anymore
Forced PVP RTA
Out of any game I’ve ever played over 20 years, RTA is the worst game mode that is forced upon people. This is a mobile game not a competitive PVP sport.. the standard refrain of get good and all of that does not change the fact of poor gameplay and design. It’s become unplayable yet is forced in order to get a silly skin. Even with every unit and hours of play and videos on YouTube, I still cannot get the skin. It’s not skill when a single person can wipe out entire team game after game. If it was not for GVG, this game would have died a long time ago.
Poorly balanced and heavily unoptimized
The game crashes constantly looking at heroes you own? Crash. Doing a battle? Crash. Swapping heroes in a team? Crash. Using a hero’s skill with an animation? Crash. Every single time you input an action you run the risk of crashing forcing you to reopen the game and reload over and over again. This has been an issue for as long as the game has been out I have had it on multiple phones new and old and been plagued with crashes because they have fatal coding errors that just break the game constantly. Despite this they have no resume battle option built in so if you crash in the middle of a battle womp womp forced to lose and suffer a loss which means you fall in PVP and lose energy in PVE. Even if the game was playable the PVP meta is to spend money and hope you get good RNG and roll good stats on gear or you can’t play. The meta constantly updates of course by releasing a new overpowered character that becomes meta and then releasing a newer more overpowered character to beat that one, rinse and repeat. In order to stay relevant your income has to be dedicated to the game meaning people are severely lacking in skill not that it matters as almost every single thing in the game is just tied to RNG mechanics forcing you to be luckier than your opponent or just retry PVE battles until you win.

almost entirely a pvp game now, they took everything and plan to focus on pvp even harder. No point in playing the game anymore since you’ll never win without money and perfectly built characters. Used to play this game for hours just reading the side stories and killing monsters. Now the game is mainly whose account is worth more. I’d rate ZERO stars if I could. I miss epic 7 this is not epic 7 anymore

Played for a few years. After a while, it gets boring. They create a problem, they make a fix, they create a problem, they make a fix. It’s old now. Also guilds are trash. Watch out for RGODs. They will kick you for just having a life outside of the game.
Terrible Customer Support
Customer Support refuses to help out when an account gets deleted due to malicious intent/hacked. I requested help immediately after noticing something was wrong but they refuse to help. Why do they make the delete account on all server or reset server so confusing and easy to wipe everything without extra security.

When running full screen on my Apple Silicon Mac the screen saver will trigger freezing action on the game, but when I’m playing windowed it never happens.

This game asked for 9Gb and took 12Gb to only get to about 70% download. It’s a subpar game that will take as much storage as you let it. Don’t waste your time with this one unless you want to have a game hold about 20Gbs of your storage before even launching.

Only thing good is the design of the characters. The power creep is annoying. If you don’t have the newest characters, you’re cooked and even then the rng of things like builds, artifacts, speed, and abilities are so awful. Why is there so much rng in this game? Idk but it makes the game trash. I don’t want to play pvp but that the best way to get mystics which is the only way to get ml characters.
They have ruined the game
I have played this game off and on since it first came out. I loved the character design in the beginning and the story was great. But it has become nothing more than a hyper sexualized game over the years. At first it was just a few characters, but now they have become way too many. I have no idea how they think it is appropriate for the 12 and up rating, with the most resent character it should be rated M and let’s not go into what the chat has turned into. Needless to say I won’t be playing anymore, which is sad because I used to love this game.

I understand this is a gacha game but now it’s very clearly pay to win. You have absolutely no chance to free to play pvp this game anymore. They release new game breaking limited time characters back to back to back which are pretty much impossible to luck sack so you have to spend like 400$ for a regular unit and like 800$ for a moonlight. Rolling gear is too random I’ve been playing this game since day one practically and I’ve only one piece of gear over 20 speed. One. Absolutely disgusting. Don’t waste your time.

Almost every team in champion and up has at least one of these 3 in it. No more variety anymore just spam these way over powered characters and win. Climbing arena has become a let down.

Good story, bad game play
They need to sell units so regardless of what u got, they will be always something better, the issue is the value of your unit depreciates so fast. So there will always be a meta only whales can compete in, everyone else is a peasant. As if they don’t learn from the mistakes.

Great and kind so far. But sits on a fine line of paywall
It’s a great game so far I have been busy and stuff but it pains me how much is behind a paywall. Like exclusive equipment and characters that you may not get unleash you pay or put a lot of time into it and the % of getting things is ridiculous. I wish I could just have something I’m not grinding for a dam hour or 2 just to get the Chance for a character you want. But it sits on a fine line. But if you’re not there for certain events you can miss out a bit. I kinda wish they had an option to play offline for the story I would 100% rethink my life. Because that would make this game the best. Not everyone has an internet connection all the time. Good luck my fellows I hope you can find some kind of balance in your life. Too many pay to win mechanics. If they just made the % higher for players to get Mystic medals for hunt and secret shop i would not complain.

This game hasn’t changed over the years. The difficulty/progression is terrible & eventually becomes impossible if you don’t fork over $100s in the cash shop.
Bosses are given extremely cheap mechanics, there are tons of FOMO characters that are heavily unbalanced.
Bugs that have existed for years still haven’t been fixed. To sum up, don’t waste your time with this one & certainly don’t spend any money.

Been playing this game since launch. They keep releasing the most broken units EVER. And then release counters for them. Don’t download this game. It’s 70% a cash grab for the characters. 2 stars because it can be fun. But when you keep releasing the most broken units known to human kind it’s not fun.
Arena is very difficult
The arena is making me lose so much that my luck is being ruined. I wish I can make my team better and get a least 300 or more speed. It’s very frustratingly difficult.
