As of recently the eufy baby video history no longer shows any yellow lines on the timeline when sound is detected
Got stuck in events
Tried to leave playback of event, screen refreshed and video was squished and divided And could not get out of a video for several minutes
So much for the ai correctly identifying and notifying.

Obviously this app is no longer at the top of the food chain. This has become very disappointing as an investment. Is this ai taking over like skynet or an example of very lazy programmers?

I’ve used the eufy baby app for my pumping for over a month now and had no issues, it told me they were no longer updating it so I decided to give this a try I’m absolutely never going to use this again time and time again has it disappointed me. The pumps NEVER sync together, the modes that work perfectly normal on the other app somehow become out of sync and one will pump during rests and vice versa. I don’t understand cause I never had these issues with the other app.

The old app I would use for my vacuum was so much better. The maps never save. You can’t edit the maps. I hate using it now. It’s so ineffective.

A constant problem with the operation of this camera and in general with the services of this brand for about a year! Support appeals = unsubscribes...

05/04/2026. Still completely useless. Videos won't load and when they do there are no thumbnails. Total junk. Thumbnails haven't been loading for weeks now.. We skipped buying Eufy cameras for the new warehouse because this app is truly useless.
Doesn’t work on iPad
This app works great on my android device, but on an iPad, not so much. It works for a day, then freezes and won’t connect to any camera. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to work.
Forced app is terrible
I liked “Eufy Clean”. I never had a problem with it. This app doesn’t let me save my maps. The no go zones don’t hold. I feel like it’s forced on me and doesn’t work properly.
Why is it so big?
900mb just to view your cameras? I wonder what other things they are doing with your data without telling you about.
Permissions Issue
App has permission to access network but it doesn’t think it does so I can’t add or access any of our devices. I have tried this on numerous devices and networks and they all have the issue.
From great to terrible
After the big app update my wireless solar cams have terrible WiFi signal and lag terribly and glitch. Please go back the way it was.
Highly deceptive.
Every SINGLE time I open my camera, I’m told I need to increase the storage. In the interest of time I bought THEIR cloud backup plan that THEY recommended for THEIR CAMERA in THEIR APP. Only for THAT camera, THE ONLY CAMERA, to not be compatible with cloud THEIR OWN BACKUP SERVICE. Now I have to go through Apple and request a refund. I’m very glad I only bought ONE camera, because the rest of them will NOT be eufy.
Data mining
I am now unable to edit or alter or add to my Geo fencing settings. On top of everything else that’s wrong with this app and the hardware!
Better every time
I love having each update guarantee a new problem and it’s so fun knowing it’ll never be fixed. It could be the fact the app won’t open a camera if there’s a car in view (very helpful only having the camera come on as they’re gone) or motion. Makes so much sense not being able to see what’s going on in real-time, well done!
Completely flawed
JUNK! I accidentally held down both buttons on my L 60 and everything was reset. I lost my floor mappings, my schedules, I lost everything. The backups didn’t work! Now I’m starting from scratch and I’m constantly encountering issues with the new app! It got so bad I deleted it and reinstalled the original, the original works fine! This new app is FLAWED! Based on my experience with this flawed replacement for a working app, I give it one star only because I can’t give it zero!
PLEASE add sort by time of day/least recent to most recent!!!
We get 1,000 events (recorded video clips) per day, and the app only loads 7 at a time, with long lags between sets of videos. This makes it a 10 minute ordeal to ever check the cameras from the day before, and an incredibly tedious hours long process to check multiple days worth of play back. Of course late night and early morning events are the most likely times for a construction site to be illegally trespassed by organized theft, so it would be great if we could just “sort by least recent” or “view night time events only” instead of scrolling through 800 events

Cameras, constantly disconnect, and appear off-line. When they are actually working, most of the time it takes forever to pull up a video and, when it does, more than half the time it does not play. Absolutely terrible. Cameras used to work great several years ago when we first purchased them. Now I completely regret purchasing them.
iCloud Subscription Non Refundable
So I accidentally subscribed to a month of iCloud backup and canceled it within minutes not even a week later I get a charge for $32 so I tell customer support that I did not mean to subscribe to the service didn’t even use. It hasn’t even been a month it’s nonrefundable so they took my money anyways you would just think clearly seeing someone did not use a service you wouldn’t take their money… horrible.

Stopped streaming video from my baby monitors. Had to switch back to Eufy Baby app to use my monitors.

I open up a video clip captured by the security camera and... it’s stuck in "detection capture" indefinitely. Nothing loads after several minutes. Wow totally useless!

Every time the app is updated there is another survey or shopping deal. The spam and advertising makes this app a chore to use.
Camera is fully charged
The app is great except for a ridiculous notification that can’t be turned off! You’ll get bombarded with “____ camera is fully charged” this will happen with all the solar cameras and ones that are plugged in! Multiple times per day and you can’t turn that notification off. It’s so bad that I’m turning off notifications in general and now I’ll miss when motion is actually detected. This is not a new bug, it’s been like this for years. No fix in sight. Crazy 🤪
Won’t work now
I’ve had the system for many many years now and never had a problem even after updates. But ever since this update, it’s telling me that the server and or website cannot be found.

Can’t add device
Keeps asking for me to share my location to connect to WiFi. I’ve given it the required app permissions and it still keeps prompting me to share my location, so I can’t add the device.

Recently switched from Google after they destroyed Nest. I have spent a lot of money on these new cameras. Discovered I can’t save to my home base and use HomeKit together. Also what is with the adds on the app? This is not a free product, why are you spamming my experience with adds? You are no better than Google. Greed over customer satisfaction
Barely works
This is the slowest app I’ve ever used. The robbers would cart away everything I own before Eufy finished “decrypting from local storage” to watch them do it. I would not recommend.

Like the products hate the app
Have some pride guys, you make some decent products and I have been happy with them. But this app is garbage. Slow, works sporadically, now crashes on MacOS (I know, I know it’s not verified for MacOS but it worked. I write iOS/iPadOS software pretty sure its not going to be a stretch to get a Catalyst app to work right).

Since acquiring iPhone 17 pro max, Eufy App crashes constantly, it doesn’t matter what “fix” I try it will not work.
Desktop app much worse than phone app. Web app requires an 8-hour phone token just to view cameras.
Eufy has removed the ability to install their iPhone/iPad app on Mac, and their web alternative is nearly useless - no camera setup, and even live viewing requires an 8-hour token generated from their mobile app. If you primarily use a Mac or PC, you simply cannot manage your cameras or settings from a computer.
I bought 4 S3 pro cameras and a home hub but returning them all. For a company selling premium home security hardware, locking users out of any desktop access is a serious product failure. Potential buyers: if you don't want to be dependent on a phone for everything, look elsewhere.

Regret upgrading
I’ve been using this app for over 6 years, and this updated is terrible!!
For example, the video history used to be at the bottom right, which was super easy to reach with my right thumb. Now you moved it to the bottom left. Who thought this was a good idea? Did you (eufy) even test this?

Worst Security Camera App
Worst Security Camera App!!
I’ve spent over $3,000 on Eufy products, thinking their app would match their marketing-but it’s honestly terrible. The app is laggy, full of false and random detections, and notifications arrive late.
The most frustrating part is the live view-it doesn’t even open automatically! You have to tap “Play” every time just to see what’s happening. For a security system, that’s unacceptable.
Eufy really needs to rebuild this app to meet 2026 standards. Right now, it feels outdated and unreliable. If things don’t improve soon, I’ll regret investing in this system and wish I had gone with Ubiquiti or Reolink instead.

Camera appears offline on app while I can see the video on monitor. Need to keep pairing it often.

Used to work perfectly but today it crashes when trying to open on a MacBook air. Works fine on iPhones and iPads

Terrible performance and stability issues in latest version
The new version has introduced very long load times in the Events view and serious stability issues. This needs urgent attention from engineering. It is Impacting basic usability and is unacceptable.
Bloated
Why does Eufy think cramming vacuum cleaners, security cameras, and bathroom scales into the same bloated app is a good idea?
