Week website
I made multiple attempts to pay for an upgrade seat with two separate credit cards, failed every time. The site keeps asking for the country code, I’ve never seen a country code on a credit card. It could be within the number sequence. I also looked to add my partner airline frequent flyer number and couldn’t find the page to do so. Not a cordial partner.
So hard to make changes
My flight was cancelled and rebooked. I tried to make simple seat changes and it couldn’t be done. Went round and round and found no way to contact anyone or how to change them. So frustrating
Poor seat reservations
I paid for a window seat with extra leg room , 3A. At check in iwaa assigned to a random seat in the 14th row and last boarding, Eurowings did not even credit the reservation cost back. When I complained I was reassigned to the 10th row, MIDDLE SEAT!

Keeps crashing and is unreliable.

Second time I can’t add a carry on, last time I called the call center to add it and they charged me 10 Euro extra! Very bad!

Do not try to book flights using this app! I have tried to book flights using this app for over a year, and always have this problem. When I get to entering my credit card as a last step of the booking, all data previously entered gets deleted and the booking doesn’t go through. Only possible way is to book on website! Unforgivable not to fix such a basic app error for such a long time. Several people I’ve talked to have the same experience. Another example of Lufthansa‘s awful and backward service. This is an airline unable to deal with technology and stuck in the 1990s. I say this regretfully as I’ve been a HON circle member for many years in the past and tended to like them.
Pointless
It’s Pointless to install the app because every time you want to do something like book add a seat assignment etc it opens a web page and you have to log in again and copy over your flight info , basically starting from scratch. You might as well just begin with a web browser page and not clutter up your phone with another useless app. Another example of how far behind the Europeans are in app design and customer service
Horrible
All the app does is open a browser within itself. I can't check in. I can't add bookings due to internal errors. Instead I'm going to have to pay to check in at the airport. Absolutely ridiculous.
Can’t even check in on app
The app doesn’t allow you to check in. Just sends you to a mobile web version of the Eurowings.com page and you can’t check in on there either because of error pages. If you’re going to send users to your website then fix your mobile experience at least and then fix your app.
When you have users being connected to flights from other airlines you end up with more users having a primary goal of using your digital experience to check in to flights, more so than buying tickets. Fix your experience.

Utterly useless
Both the app and website are useless for the main purpose of an airline’s app: checking into the flight and getting a boarding pass. The app just links me to the website, and after submitting my booking number and surname, it starts to load the “Seating and contact information page”, then immediately kicks me back to the main page. I have tried this on the app and five different browsers, on both mobile and laptop, with the same result. It could be because of who I booked my ticket through, but they don’t have the courtesy to give me a message saying that. I look forward to spending an hour waiting in the Eurowings line at the airport.

It’s like they want me to miss my flights.
Zero stars. Does not work at all. Wouldn’t load boarding passes at airport. Then arbitrarily logged me out. Now won’t let me log back in. Crazy. So lucky I took screenshots the night before, or I’d be totally screwed. Don’t promise what you can’t deliver. Guess I should have used paper. All other apps work fine, reset my phone, nothing makes it work. Total fail!!!!!
NOT USERFRIENDLY
This app is ridiculously complicated. In a time where we need intuitively, Eurowings took a step back. Starting with buttons that lead you in circles to infos that just don’t show up (even after the debug) and ending with issues in your most basic info. Plus, too many features you don’t need and too less of the ones you actually do. If compared to the airline I used before, Delta, this app shows clear deficits. It makes me feel unsecured and unsure and it gives me headaches trying to make sure I actually get into that airplane tomorrow.

The app and your gate
I was trying to go to Salzburg from Hamburg. Got the the airport early wanted at gate C07 and kept checking for updates on the app for gate changes and listening for any announcements. No info change on the app also Eurowings doesn’t count paying attention to your app as being responsible. I missed my flight and it’s apparently “my fault” granted when 5 of us ran to the correct gate from the original gate there was still a bus outside the door and still 20 minutes before the flight took off. But no they wouldn’t let any of the 5 of us get on the plane. They sent us to customer service which was a joke. It was more like customer judgement and ridicule and they didn’t want to deal with us so they put us on the phone with another customer service rep he only offered to refund the airport tax. He then passed us off to another rep and the real kicker, one of the desk reps comes over and decides we’ve been on the phone for too long and threatens to hang up the phone and call security. Don’t fly with Eurowings. Spend a little extra go somewhere else.
Terrible
I just downloaded the app a few minutes ago. Tried to check in for my flight tomorrow using the app and was told I had to “download the most recent version”. I was unable to proceed with my checkin. And of course, there is not a more updated version than the one I just downloaded. According to the app itself it was updated a week ago! Grade = F

I downloaded this app specifically in order to be able to load a boarding pass into my wallet. This proved completely impossible to achieve, primarily because the boarding pass wasn’t visible anywhere.I was also unable to enter my mileage plus account number for flight credits.
Hard to follow
It says to check in before time then you have to go to the webpage to complete. Get a clue, Eurowings
