No business card contact export
Evernote quit supporting auto export of business card scans to contacts, although it still touts it as a selling point. This app is now useless. Also, important question, why is this app necessary as an Evernote subscriber? There’s already a scan app within Evernote? This is a redundant app only meant to help promote Evernote in the App Store when people are searching for scan apps.

Horrible
horrible! the jpeg and pdf saving functions mix up all the time

Long time user and went to use the app today and suddenly everything is behind a paywall. Will be deleting the app soon.

There was no reason for them to join up with Evernote. This app is no longer usable.

Just continuing to show disappointment from another user in how they have forced integration with a second app or a pay wall. Used to be my go to for scanning and now will be finding an alternative.

I’m the type who downloads numerous apps for each different type of task.. productivity apps happen to be my favorite category. I rarely pay for an app as I know chances are there is usually something comparable free. I know now you can use your iPhone to do scans, but I had been using scannable for years and it was one app that I was completely happy with. It was reliable, free, and worked perfectly!! I could save my scans, email them, etc. whatever I needed but then suddenly like others have shared they changed everything and it now sucks. I’m definitely not going to pay when I can get the same thing if not better for free. What a waste of a good app. It’s really sad.

Was AMAZING, look elsewhere now
Loved this app, but not at all worth $3 a week! Ridiculous that they are making you use Evernote and pay so much for it when I probably only make a one or two scans a month. Used to love the ease of sending it as a pdf as a text.
Was free, no more
This used to the the best scanner app available, able to turn any messy photo of a document into a clean image. However, despite the software and features staying the same, it is now locked behind an egregious $15/month subscription for the entire Evernote suite. Do I look like I’m made of money? Uninstalled.
farewell
After so many years I am finally divorcing this app. I used it for a very long time and loved it more than any other app on my phone, but starting about two or three years ago it started to become more and more glitchy. Nowadays it is the most insufferable app on my phone. I waited literal years for them to make it better because I wanted to be a loyal fan and just deal with the issues at first, but they are only making it worse and worse. I’m switching to a different scanning service that I won’t mention because I’m not here to do propaganda.
why do i need evernote now
great app but now it makes you download the evernote app to view the scans. it used to not require that….

Unusable
I used this app for many years before it became Evernote. Now it is impossible to use. You need to scan in one app then move to another to save it. By that point you have dismissed at least 3 free trial offers. Once you get to the Evernote app you’re forced into a free trial again unless you opt out through a button that is not obvious. I’ve used many “freemium” type apps before so I’m used to upgrade options but this is so desperate it’s comical. Do not download this! All the high star reviews are from many years ago before this change.
Ruined with paid subscription
This used to be an amazing app that performed exactly as needed and was a cut above the competition. Now you are forced into their “Evernote Ecosystem” that you have to pay and expensive subscription for, despite the fact that you need only one or two simple services. Complete waste of talent and a good app

Charging to Export Docs?
I’ve been a long-time user of Evernote Scannable. It saved my butt multiple times during my middle/high school career, as well as on some occasions during college. I opened it up for the first time in a while (need to scan but can’t access a scanning machine today) only to find that in order to export my document ANYWHERE other than Evernote, I must pay a premium subscription. I’m signing up for the free trial today to send these documents to myself, then I am canceling immediately and finding an alternative app. Money hungry isn’t a good look for you, Evernote.
Disappointing
Downloaded this app three years ago for a high school student assist job & I've been using it for college for the last two years. Until this use, it had never let me down. Now it wants me to pay to download scans into my photos? And I have to download some other app just to save my scans? I don't need them saved in some side app, I need them downloaded to my phone so I can use them. End of an era for us, Scannable, but here is where I say goodbye & find another app to do what you did.
Offer a “free trial” and immediately charge the card
Used to be a fantastic app, looks like they moved all of the convenient functions to a “premium subscription”. They offer a “free trial”, but my card got immediately charged after agreeing to the trial option.
Used to be great, now it’s a ripoff
I used to love and recommend this app to people, but who gives a flying fox about using Evernote? This app REQUIRES you to use Evernote to do ANYTHING with it, unless you are willing to mint to shell out cash for a subscription. Up yours, Scannable, and up yours, Evernote. There are way better options out there now for free pdf makers and shareable image consolidation.
Unable to print without paying Evernote
Unless I am missing something, the restrictions on sharing a document prevent me from printing a document (for free) on my own printer. It appears I must buy a paid subscription to Evernote. Ridiculous! Will find another app.
Terrible
All I wanted to do was scan a PDF, and they wanted me to create an account, download another app, and then pay for their premium to download the pdf I’d just scanned. Do not use, other apps won’t make you go through 18 steps to do a basic thing.

I’ve used Scannable for years as well as Evernote and if you’re here you’re most likely wondering what happened to your Scannable app with which you were able to scan documents and then send emails unfortunately Scannable only works by sending notes directly to Evernote and not sending them as it had previously to external sources such as emails. That is now a “premium “. As a workaround if you’re in the Apple ecosystem, you can use your Apple notes program to create a PDF and then create a file and then email that or you can use the Riddell document scanner is an option. Sad such a great little program as was Evernote,,,, at one time.

Ever since this app forced Evernote integration it has lost me. Truly a shame as this functionally was a great app.

Was great, $2.99 / week is absurd
I used to love this app and recommend it to everyone. I figured it would some day switch to requiring a payment, but I assumed it would be a reasonable amount. $2.99 per week for an app that is only used occasionally is absurd! I don’t pay $155 per year for apps that I use much more often than this. Hopefully they’ll figure it out and lower the price, but until then I’m using other apps.

This all was amazing until it now forces you to use Evernote and pay for Evernote. Better apps out there
Greedy App
App worked great for a while, no problem. Out of the blue it’s now requiring I pay an obscene amount to access the app, which used to be free!! DO NOT RECOMMEND, FIND ANOTHER APP!!

Beyond disappointed
I’m beyond disappointed that the feature I used for free for years of work and research - the ability to directly email scanned files - is now behind a paywall, and now I am forced to login and use the Evernote service that I would otherwise not use. Classic “ensh*ttification” of an app.
I used to love this app
In the past, this app was a tool I used all the time to get quick and easy scans. It was perfect for what I needed. I’m honestly so disgusted by requiring a premium subscription to access the same functionality as before. . Even when I elected to start the free trial, I was immediately prompted to turn off subscription renewal emails under the guise of minimizing my notifications. I will never pay a single dime to this greedy abomination of a company. Sad to see something I once really appreciated turned into useless garbage. Deleted the app today.

This app used to be very easy to use but now it makes you go through multiple extra steps to do the exact same thing. The evernote app it forces you to use is so garbage.
Used to be the best scanner out there
I used to love scannable, it got me through college in covid bc I'd have to hand write assignments and scan to upload. Now it's all stuck behind a greedy paywall. Do better Evernote. Sometimes people need to scan in a hurry and you making everything cost $16/month and sign in a million times is such a hinderance. Sad to see such a great app get ruined over time!

This used to be an easy to use app
Now that the app needs to be used with Evernote, it is no longer quick and easy to use. You used to be able to take a picture of your document(s), it would straighten it and remove shadows, then send it immediately! Now you have to save it somewhere, hope to find it and pay for the privilege.

What a mess of a application. Won’t save to photos unless you pay for pro version. I have a Evernote account for years, but it won’t let you sign in. If you screen shot document, it’s blurry.
