Non-binary is going to be a no for me
Anything queer coded is going straight into the trash . I am tired of it its been shoved down the throat of the public for over ten years. Its barely a fraction of a representation of our population but bc people in the sand wars see boys differently we should accept this.

NeverWeave is a better name for it…
$30 into it and the AI can’t keep up. Keeps inserting NPC’s into combat sequences that are not even there. You end up wasting more of your turns (which cost you) by correcting the DM AI. Was super excited at first but completely discouraged by the constant AI screw ups. Not worth your time or money…
Game is broken
They released an update recently that made the game harder to play, made it more expensive, and generally made it worse. They refuse to roll back the update so I’m uninstalling. This is just a game that will drain your money. The alternatives are so much better, like AI realms.
Garbage
This app might as well play it for you as well with the junk charcters they create for you.
Fun to bs
The game doesn’t follow any actual set rules and also you could be hiding from a restrained person and they still can hit you and kill you. Plus the dice rolls are almost always low.
Don’t recommend
I deleted as soon as I realized the visuals were all AI. There are other free apps with developers that put in real effort and I recommend supporting real artists and programmers.
Was a great game
It was a great game today. They did the last big upgrade now the dialogue scene it makes it glitch out and does whatever it wants and and contradicts itself you end up burning through motion messages trying to correct the AI if they fix these problems, it will be a great game, but I do not recommend to download right now cause you’ll just waste your money
Frustrating
This game could be fun if your companions could do anything at all. If you’re not wise good luck finding anything, even if you’ve tried to ensure you have a wise companion, because they won’t ever help. You’re not strong? Too bad, your strong companions won’t help you lift anything. In actual dnd you have a party to make up for your weaknesses. You just don’t get to do anything or have fun if you have a not great roll on something you’re bad at
Overall a Big No!
Game play was interesting and had potential. What completely ruined it for me was the daily limit system. After hitting the daily limit, I was told to wait 22 hours… which I did, only for the countdown clock to at 19 hours… then another whole day to say 18, with another whole day to another 18 hours. At that point it was clear there was never a daily limit but a pay to play wall. This is where they lost me, and i uninstalled the app. Don’t waste your time or money.
Do not recommend spending real money on this game!
I loved the concept, but the execution is deeply flawed. The AI DM consistently hallucinates, ‘nerfing’ gear and changing stats mid-fight, which forces me to spend my own money on messages just to correct the AI’s memory errors. It feels like I’m paying to debug a broken game rather than playing. Even when the stats and rules are clearly established, the DM ignores them, leading to an exhausting, adversarial experience. I cannot recommend this if you value your time or your wallet.
This did not start occurring until I was deep into the game too. So I had already spent my money purchasing messages to play and then after spending that money the AI began to dissolve into a confused mess.
I think the developers need to create a summary system so that after a certain amount of messages the AI has a summary implanted to its memory of what has occurred.
Some of the errors were even about my character sheet which in the interface. There was discrepancies in abilities and gear. I cannot in good conscience recommend this game. I am cancelling my subscription and just going to use my remaining messages and forget this app.

Disney DND
This game is cool in concept. But the AI is constantly losing track of details. I spent half my time arguing with the DM because it cannot keep the story straight. It will randomly change the scene or how people are positioned. Countless times I’ve had to tell it that my children are not babies anymore. But it always just reverts back to them being babies. You pay for a subscription only to have your story censored. So really you’re just playing a Disney version of DND.

Scam. Not recommended
After 6000+ messages used, I’ve concluded that this game is a scam. The AI DM creates a good story but it always forgets everything all the time. it forgets you world setting, your background and it just kill your motivation to keep playing. Your equips do not matter because it literally doesn’t affect your character sheet and the world can change drastically if the DM feels like it. I highly do not recommend this app. I would recommend AI Realms which makes this app look like notepads
TLDR; Don’t get this app
**UPDATED REVIEW**
Just so everyone is aware, the app developers don’t give a rats behind about the complaints because they are nonexistent. They set up an app then wiped their hands of it and are continuing to make money. Save your time and money and go to a different app for your D&D fix, or you’ll just be throwing money at something that won’t get fixed.

**ORIGINAL REVIEW**
The app in itself is a phenomenal concept of a game; I’d give a solid A for the concept. The app falls short, however, with the production of the game. The game glitches regularly with it being stuck in a DM decision or progression, the campaign creativity from AI isn’t the best either; you have to essentially prompt it to progress. Some more issues lie within the creativity aspect. There are only 3 style of dice included with a 4th “coming soon” but even still, 4 isn’t really that large of a selection imo. But then, even in character creation, there are not a lot of options which is a really big bummer. I don’t think we are asking for the entire collection of books of character creations, but I think we are asking for a decent amount more than 5-7. It’s also an issue that you only get 60 free messages (which EASILY get used up within an hour) and then you can pay to play more; so TECHNICALLY it’s free, but to progress, it’s not. I’d think that with the amount of money they make from the subscribers, they’d be able to start doing big changes; like maybe once a quarter do big updates. I just think it is really a great concept, but it could be better.

Had to edit my first 5 star review
They wait until you get deep into your character before they tell you that you have to subscribe to the monthly charge
Sadly you lost me
I had bought the adventurer pack to get 1000 messages or whatever they’re called, it I had to cancel due to not having enough money to continue to pay. They got rid of all my messages which I payed for when I unsubscribed from the adventurer pack! I really enjoyed the game but that made me uninstall and stop playing.
It was great.
The game was great and then they ruined it with updates. They had great intentions but failed to deliver it effectively. I had a great save that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to recreate because I had to choose between the old version (great but lacked niche) and the new version. (Broken and forces you into weird dialogue screens that glitch out over have the time.). Also be prepared to fight the same enemy type most of the time in a campaign for the BBEG. It will always be a the same or a variant depending on the campaign. I once killed the BBEG and the dm made a new variant of the same BBEG and made it feel super repetitive. I still play but it’s very frustrating how the new updates halt my gameplay and screw with my characters ai. Most of the time when I say something to another person I have to go into extreme detail so they don’t think I’m trying to intimidate them for some wild reason. I’ve lost lots of encounters due to buggy so and changing interaction modes (combat mode, and dialogue mode.) I still spent lots of money and don’t plan to stop but be aware you will lose lots of inputs to bugs.
Good but with problems
(update) With the recent update changing the way npcs work, the game got much worse. More errors in narrative and dialogs, and now my legacy character (which I chose to preserve as legacy after trying a new char with the new system) seems broken! I try to enter a command, and it just keeps telling me previous message is still being processed (and there isn't a previous message - I just started trying to play that char again for the first time after the update). There also needs to beat menu item for exiting the current adventure to return to the main menu!
(End update)
Overall it's fun with good responses from the DM (and as best I can tell, it's amazing that it follows the D&D 5e ruleset!), but there are some major issues. Aside from half of the classes and at least one race (half-elf) missing, it sometimes takes a long time for anything to happen after submitting a command (and close button for the dice roll window always takes too long to appear), and a few times it froze (more specifically, the close button on the dice roll window never appeared) or failed (got a non-specific error saying to try again). Once the DM gave an incorrect description, saying I was attempting to sneak past a door in a room in order to return down a descending passage, but I was already hiding in the descending passage. Also, why is there the chat bubble option to expand the text/history? The expanded mode should be the default (in fact I don't see any reason to have the limited size text space, especially since sometimes the entire DM's text doesn't fit and the space isn't scrollable). There also needs to be more information for items - the throwing knives for example don't display a damage amount.
Fix these issues and add the rest of the classes and races, and this would be a 5 star game. Even better would be to add some imagery throughout like the old Choose Your Own Adventure (and the D&D rulebooks) had!

Honestly, they used to be great
Honestly, the game was amazing before the developers of the game kind of just stopped caring and got really greedy because if you go on their Discord and you look at some of what they’re saying to some customers they’re not very happy with how they’re being treated by the developers and basically if you don’t like it, you basically just don’t matter to them. They are just treating this game as a cash cow and they really just don’t care they used to be great. They used to listen and now I don’t know what to tell you they lost the spirit of what they started this for in the first place.
An honest review
So when I started playing the game I found it fun. Even after the pictures were added I still gave it a chance though it lost the DnD vibe of imagination. However, I subscribed to a large amount of messages but I couldn’t play for a while due to being busy with real life. I decided to unsubscribe and for some reason they removed my already purchased messages which is tantamount to stealing. For this reason I would recommend not playing. I contacted them, but was ignored. It is too bad that they ignore their players and refuse to replace what they took.
Not ready for release
This game has a litany of issues that prevent it from being an immersive experience.
Here are some of the biggest issues that are always present:
General issues:
The game constantly forgets the names of major characters and essential world building elements it has already established.
Plot threads are not coherent, and the game will constantly forget why it pushed you in to certain scenarios which results in a narrative that makes no sense.
In combat:
It is clear that the game does not actually do any rolls as they return with impossible numbers (Ex: on my level 6 fighter, it says second wind restore “1d10+LvL” hp, but it restores 5 hp on use.)
Enemies will exclusively target you and will ignore your allies. This happens every combat which results in companions not feeling as if they are actually present.
It is apparent that the game has no sense of spacing and disregards movement range and the positioning of the combatants (for example, engaging an enemy doesn’t exist with combatants seemingly teleport around)
Why these issues matters:
The monetization strategy is that you have to pay for more messages. The constant bugs and oversights require you to spend a significant portion of your messages doing the Everweave’s job for it; explaining that it is incorrectly remembering major plot points and characters and clearly not calculating rolls correctly.
These issues not only hurt the player experience, they also result in you not getting your moneys worth on the subscription or message pack that you bought to play the game more.

Great potential
The game is fun if u like dnd its a custom story u build but the reason why my score is firstly bc of the ai i think responses take to long that alone shaves off a star but what really does it for me is the subscription it takes a whole month for your messages to recharge leaving the game closed off to those who choose not to pay and i just feel like there are other ways like for starters make this a payed app or do adds but waiting an entire month to finish your story bc u have to wait on your messages to recharge is crazy like i said great potential just locked behind a monthly pay wall at that point just make it an app u have to pay for

Can be fun, not with the money
I will begin the review with saying, this game is really cool and it allows you to do pretty much anything you’d like in game, it can be a very fun RPG. That being said, you only get 60 feee messages a month (messages are the only way to communicate with the DM & NPCs in game, so basically like 3 conversations). Then, you need to subscribe monthly for more messages (crazy prices, it’s like $20 for a week and a half worth of messages) then, in game, you need to waste messages on correcting the DM for things like not putting something you collected in your inventory or not removing someone you talked to weeks ago in game from your party, so they randomly show up in battle. There’s a lot of things that just completely take away from the story you have created and for the price, it’s just not worth it.
Best DnD until it’s not.
Awesome game. Most true to the game, good amount of failures, real rolls, enters initiative, and good adaptations with AI. Gives me the DnD fix when I can’t play it for real!
Then you run out of messages and have to wait A MONTH before the next time you can play again unless you want to buy messages at a crazy markup. They don’t tell you it costs or that it’s per message until you hit the limit then you’re SOL for a month.
Had great potential but greed ruined the game.

Good concept, needs work
Big DnD fan. As is normal, getting together with friends for actual DnD games is difficult, so I downloaded Everweave hoping it would bridge the gap between sessions. It started off great. The initial 60 free messages got me hooked. Only a couple times in that first 60 did I have to tell the AI DM that it had made a mistake (had to make it take things out of my inventory, and tell it I passed a roll when it acted like I failed, no big deal). I was waiting on pins and needles for the renewal of the 60 messages at the beginning of the month.
Second month rolls around, same as the first. Went great, only a couple small hiccups with inventory and a failed roll that the DM skipped over entirely. Absolutely loved the game. Since I liked it so much, I paid for the 1000 message tier, which is my mobile-gaming budget for the entire month.
I made it 50 messages into that 1000. Almost as soon as I paid, the DM started forgetting everything about my game. NPC backstories changed, my inventory management was non-existent unless I wasted a message every single time telling it to add or subtract things, and every roll of the dice was ignored and the opposite was done. I spent over half of those 50 messages trying to fix the game, and after it changed the name of an NPC and then killed them off out of nowhere as soon as I corrected it, I shut the game down.
The concept is good, but the AI needs a lot of work. The app itself is also screwy as there are several screens you can’t back out of. Instead you have to completely close the app and open it back up. Hopefully they fix the app and AI down the road. Till then, deleted. Don’t waste money.
