Fun but big problems!
1: no exit buttons on most screens.

Horrible game don’t waste your time.
I played for two weeks. The Ai Dm doesn’t not listen to what you have to say. The combat does not make any sense. It refuses to allow you to lvl up. If you want to argue with a robot and repeat yourself 5 times before it says I’m sorry there was a misunderstanding. Every npc treats you like dirt and won’t help in combat even if you are killing an enemy in front of them.

Started off well
The game started off great. The problem is you’re limited to playing. After so many things you type in, they stop you. You have to pay or wait 24 hours. Another problem is the AI makes you repeat sometimes so that takes your messages. Now I have to wait a month before I could play again, so the game isn’t playable unless you pay. I don’t understand why I couldn’t just watch an add or some adds, no options but to pay
Dumb AI
In the story I was cut down from the trap I was in and it clearly said so. The “DM” refused to acknowledged it and refused to listen. Immediately at the start and this thing can’t even follow its own story. And basic AI can do better.
Game sucks
There are plenty of games like this out there at this point and this one is by far the worst. The only thing it has going for it is a nice UI. The questing is trash, the conversation is bad, your giant play through can end based on the DMs whim. Who would have thought it was a HARDCORE PLAYTHROUGH WHEN STARTING??? A complete waste of time and money. Go play AI Dungeon Master or Infinite Adventures instead.

The game completely forgot everything we had done in the previous day and all the items I had picked up were gone from my inventory. All the npcs I was traveling with forgot who I was. Also I get AI is expensive but the game is making me wait for 26 days basically a month to play again. How is that fair??? If you don’t want to spend a crazy amount of money don’t download this game. Big waste of time 👎👎👎👎
Uninstalled after April 2026 update
I am beyond disappointed! I loved this app and was only looking forward to it getting even better. It’s unplayable now.

2. The X button is not showing on a dice roll and I can’t back out, I have to close the entire app and hope it goes away!
3. The DM keeps saying it’s unable to give me a summary of what’s happening, or something like a character or location log. This is something I was hoping would be improved with the AI, to be able to keep track of character names, appearances, roles, etc as well as locations.

I dl’ed the game played for like 2 hours and ran out of turns. I paid for the $5.99 option and played for like 2 more hours. Apparently I don’t get any more turns for 27 days???? $5.99 should get a month not 2 hours.

So I downloaded this after reading the reviews and thinking I could finally play online dnd and right when I got on I had to sign in and it wouldn’t let me.

Initially, the game’s very enjoyable. A massive downside is the sky-high paywall that the devs have built around their game. They provide…I believe…60 free messages that you burn through quickly, which are restored monthly. A complicated battle can easily burn through 10-15 messages…60 that’s 4-6 fights monthly or you have to pay. It also seems the AI DMs actually designed to make you use messages unnecessarily as well. Then there’s the fact that fighting is the biggest yield for experience points. The game actively directs you to RP options…which is nice, but yields little to no xp. I’ve messed up and spent $100 between subscription and message packs…and am regretting my decision! The gameplay’s as buggy as all get out, error messages abound. I’ve run into an error where fights are yielding no experience at all and the loot is done narratively, with nothing actually being added to inventory. They’re failing to provide one of the most vital parts of an RPG…character development! Game support isn’t integrated into their app and you have to actively look up how to contact them. As for the quality of support…I put in a ticket yesterday, sent a follow up email this evening…and have gotten zero response on the looting/exp issue beyond the initial (probably automated) request for more information and screenshots (which I provided). If they don’t resolve this fundamental flaw in the game, I’m afraid that I’ll be moving onto another DnD sim like AIRealm. I feel kind of bad putting up a review like this and will change it if they attempt to resolve the issues with their, frankly, problematic game. Until then, it is what it is. Update: some of my previous issues were resolved…but not through contact with support. I attempted a few followups and gave up after a week. This recent patch has sowed nothing but chaos. NPCs with previously established relationships have completely changed and the AI DM is showing a terrible lack of ability to keep track of developments that are even a few messages old. This could possibly be a solid app 6 months and a few blocks down the road and should be in beta development and NOT a retail app. What they expect players to pay DOES NOT justify the functionality of the app! I’m either deleting the app entirely or just playing it with the free messages when they update, but I’m not even considering putting another penny toward this unstable, buggy game until it’s far, far more stable!
Somehow can’t manage not to have something broken
Every single update I try to find fun stuff, but the AI breaks within less than two hours of playing one of the core features of this game is that you’re supposed to be able to communicate with the dungeon master? It’s actually one of the tips recommending that you speak with the gentle master yeah I have off your wasted so much money and conversation points trying to speak with. It is infuriating.

Man I saw the ad and this seemed fun, but then it kept lagging and not letting me continue, all their 5 star reviews are heavily botted, the game doesn’t let you close the dice and you have to pay for messages when this could of been fun, 1 Star, don’t try or buy stuff man

The game seems super fun then they stuck it behind a huge pay wall. I’m not paying no 500 dollars for words from an ai even though it’s a great game concept
Use to be a five
This new update with dialogue mode is the worst design choice these developers ever made for this game, the ai changes the names an story at random, it never listens and wastes the messages that you pay for, if the devs were smart and actually cared about their community they would remove the feature
Fun game but not consumer friendly.
When I first started playing I was given 60 free messages to play the game. Once I spent them I had to wait 9 days just to get another 60. That’s fine it’s nine days but after the nine days I decide to see look at my next message refresh… it says a month. I reach out to the games team in there discord. Turns out that’s how the game was made. You have to wait a month just to keep playing or spend real world cash to ether get messages through there lackluster subscriptions or the massage packs which only last a few days at most before you have to buy another massage packs.

Everweave used to be a deeply immersive, narrative-driven experience. It gave me a creative outlet to explore ideas and scenarios in a way that felt engaging and unrestricted. That wasn’t just entertainment for me-it was an emotional outlet I used regularly.
With the introduction of “dialogue mode”, that experience has been replaced with something far more rigid, shallow, and disconnected. The storytelling depth is gone. The sense of immersion is gone. Characters feel flat and responses feel mechanical. It’s like talking to a cheaply made chat box, and no longer provides the experience that made me subscribe in the first place.
I reached out to support explaining this, especially since my renewal was recent and the product has clearly downgraded in a significant way. I requested a partial refund based on that change. My request was denied, with the explanation that this is “policy.”
This isn’t about disliking a feature-it’s about a paid product changing in a way that removes its core value.
If this is the direction Everweave is going, I can’t justify continuing to support it, and if you feel the same way I do, I hope you’ll unsubscribe and delete it as well. If the developers insist on turning this immersive, one of a kind game into a cheaply made chat box, there are free chat boxes out there that are of better quality. Seek them out.
I also sincerely hope the developers seriously reconsider or at least give users the option to disable dialogue mode and return to the original narrative experience.

It should recharge in a day or at most two for that little play time. And a $18 a month subscription for 1000 messages a month, or $55 a month for 3000 is insane. Way over priced in my opinion.
AI/DM has a terrible memory
I spend at least 8 hours on this game. Raised cultists from the dead through the power of necromancy and used other LLMs (AI apps) to enrich the stories to where I’d lose track of time playing this game. The my adventure led to the discovery of a OP ring that once per long rest, would allow me to cast a rain of eldritch blasts which would hit each enemy for 75% health. After successfully casting this ability once (out of combat before the battle started) I was told in a later fight by the DM that I had no such ability! 8+ hours of character development thrown out the window. Had a small army of cultist that I destroyed and mass resurrected as their new leader and none of my men were actively engaged in the fights. Developers, please use a real LLM. This is a good game, but you can’t be cheap with what’s under the hood if you want this to be a great game.

Was a lot of fun but with the new “dialogue” vision it’s just an extra loading screen to wait making basic conversations 10-20 minutes of wasted time. Major potential with the wrong vision.

What the title of this post says. The game was really fun until this patch 15 update. A bunch of people are leaving now because of it including myself. Hoping they’ll put the game back to how it was, maybe listen to the players a little bit and stick with what works. Was fun, now it is just buggy, annoying UI and a lot more restrictive. Disappointing as hell.

I loved this game until they upgraded, adding character chats. Now, it’s riddled with bugs. It’s constantly freezing while the DM is “thinking,” forcing me to close out and back in. Often times, when I roll the dice, it freezes after you get your result “good or bad, forcing you to close out and back in, however, when you get back in you have to re-roll. Very frustrating when you roll a high number. Also, when in character chat mode, if you write an action, it will switch out of character mode and back into standard mode, but whatever action you originally wrote does not carry over.
So, it seems like they tried to upgrade with good intentions to improve game play to align with D&D and create more of an experience, but in the end, it just created more headaches and a much worse game play experience.

Cost isn’t really optional
First it said my message limit would reset in 2 days. Seemed a little long but fine - I have a toddler and the days went by quick. But then I play again, expecting to hit another 2 day cool down like before and get a 28 day 6 hour and 30 minutes cool down period or buy a subscription. So deleting the app and moving on with my life. A shame there isn’t a real free version - even with a typical cool down like chat got does would be fine. But not what it’s doing.

Personally I loved this game but the update more or less ruined it. it feels as though rolling doesn’t matter and it’s always low rolls sadly I’ll try to find another I have put too much money into this game
Update 15 ruined it
The most recent update made the game extremely glitchy and unplayable. The game is ambitious and holds promise, but not usable a this moment. I’ll check back every week or two to see if they have made any progress in making it work. In the meantime, I would save your money
Update 15 has broken the game
The description of the update sounded like an improvement, so I opted to shift my character over. Unfortunately I can no longer talk directly with the AI to gain clarity or correct mistakes in the narrative as before. The NPC dialogue is absolutely broken; the AI sometimes speaks for me rather than allowing me to type, it treats almost any statement as a challenge of intimidation or persuasion requiring a roll, it rewrites my typed dialogue into a completely different statement, and it ends conversations prematurely. If they go back to the legacy mode the game is quite enjoyable. For now it is broken.
This update sucks
Even when i pass rolls after applying the bonuses it makes it like i failed unless it was a legitimate higher roll. The ai seems to constantly forget events that actually happen and makes me keep repeating myself. It constantly goes back and forth between the old layout and the new with the pictures of individuals and makes what i said disappear making me think im wasting my messages.
Poor listening skills
Man times I would literally just have to repeat myself which is annoying enough. But the game lolled me by an odd combination of not acknowledging my healing myself & simply saying I died.. not explaining what killed me. Most frustrating is that there was no way to ask it to review what just happened once it declared me dead, it was simply over. No where to request why it didn’t acknowledge the healing.
