Payed $80 a year for an app that I can’t log into
Not a streamlined experience
The whole point of budgeting at your fingertips is convenience and quick access. I am usually using this when I need to quickly input my expenses and move on. Half the time I’m having to log back in because it’s booted me out and now it tries to make me take this personalize your experience survey before I can even log in. We are researching other options at this point.
Time to go
Latest update caused over 100 duplicate transactions that I am unwilling to go back and fix. I’m done with the lazy testing before deploying updates. Also, I was forced to answer questions before getting to my budget…literally no way to opt out. This app has lost its way. Deleting and moving on after 10 years.

New update leading to errors
The new update ruined the remaining to spend category. Now if you go over budget by say $500, it will tell you that you have $500 left to spend, not that you are $500 over
Who is making app update decisions?
Every time this app gets updated, it gets worse. Why? Who is making these awful decisions? For instance, in the latest update, someone thought it was a good idea to remove the feature that allowed for expense rearrangement by pressing and holding. Now you have to press a button at the top right corner, EVERY TIME! That’s on top of all the other insidious changes over the last few years including putting expense pie charts behind paywalls, making the first tab when you log in an advertisement, forcing expenses to stay in the same position month by month, making it difficult to reuse expense naming month to month as we see fit, and many more irritating changes.
Please stop!! At this point, this app would be 100 times better off if they reallocated all developers and stuck to maintenance only by an offshore team. Truly horrendous.

It’s not as helpful if I can’t also track what’s coming into my budget so I can actually get a real picture of my money.

Glitch central
Looks like it would be a great app to use unfortunately I can’t even get through the sign on process without a glitching. Tried everything with no luck.
Constant Issues
I’ve been dealing with constant issues on this app for 5 months. It’s a shame because it used to work so well and now it is unusable. Ongoing connection issues and the biggest challenge is duplicate transactions which are extremely time consuming to go sort through. All customer support tells you to do is switch to Plaid, then back to Mastercard Connect, then back to Plaid.
Background App Refresh….
I’ve submitted several feature requests on the need for background app refresh. I have 19 transactions to allocate and do not see that I have them via a badge notification until I OPEN THE APP?!
Badges are the life blood of adoption in this distracting world. Let’s go!!

Reconnecting to bank EVERYTIME
We have a subscription to the app and have to reconnect it every time we open the app. This app makes it easier to track finances but it’s not worth it having to reconnect it every time.
Several serious flaws
1. Can batch transaction labeling. Need to use an LLM on this anyway, because I am constantly labeling a ton of slightly different transactions 2. Foreign Transactions sometimes don’t appear for a day or two. Meaning the app is not an up to date representation of my money.

Not worth the money
Doesn’t communicate with Affirm, Klarna or many other accounts. Have to manually enter a lot of things and if you are married and want to both budget, not possible. I’m sure this would work great for someone that is single that has accounts that communicate with the app. Not worth paying for.
Subscription
I subscribed and the premium features are not working. I deleted the app and reinstalled and it didn’t work. I hope I can get a refund.
Worthless
I paid for a year subscription because I thought this would help me get a handle on budgeting. I was wrong, and there’s no way to know ahead of time. I have 2 banks, 1 of which doesn’t work with this app. There’s supposed to be a way where I can manually add in transactions from that bank into the app to show my budget, but 1) I don’t pay for an app to not do what most other apps WILL do for the same amount of money. 2) it doesn’t support Cash App at all. So again, more manually entering transactions which doesn’t work properly.
I am trying to follow the whole Ramsey method. They preach selling stuff to help pay down debt. What do 90% of people want to pay for things you’re trying to sell want to use for money transfer? Cash App. So I ended up just using a pad to track everything and wasting my money and time trying to figure out this app. Save yourself a lot of headaches and probably some money too. Look into other apps before you buy this one.

Overpriced
Makes a budgeting app but charges you $17 month for premium.
Cant even log in
Downloaded app, wont even let me log in. Keeps directing me to the Safari app and tells me it wont do it cuz the page has been redirected too many times. And i already have an account so idk why it just wont let me log in.
Transactions not uploading
Transactions aren’t uploading. I’ve tried updating the app and contacting customer service, nothing seems to work. I regret getting this subscription for this useless app
Disappointed
Spent a lot of time creating my budget and learning app. A few days later I open the app and all of the information is gone! I refuse to start over again. Waste of my time.
Free version doesn't do anything
I previously started with the free version. It will not allow me to update my planned income now. I've done it multiple times, there is no save function and it reverts to my previous entries. Worthless waste of time
Declining accuracy
Accuracy inconvenience is declining over and over again now I have used this app for years and bought for several family members transactions don’t sync until 9 at night the day of posting to your account. You no longer budget in the morning unless you want to be a day late.

I’ve been using this app for literally years (and the biggest advocate) but the last like year or so, it won’t connect to my primary bank. Support just blames my bank and tells me to insert transactions manually “in the meantime” but then when it randomly does connect to my bank, I have all these duplicate transactions - and it’s been going on too long. I tried to get a refund but support tried to sell me on the other “features” of premium which are not helpful to me in any way. The main point of premium is the automatic updated transactions. They also won’t refund me because it was purchased through Apple. Y’all really need to figure this out and stop advertising something you can’t do.
Terrible update
I’ve used this app for years, but the newest update rounds the monthly expenses to the nearest hundred dollars. There now is no way to see exactly how much I spent in a month, defeating the purpose of a budget app!

Disappointed today
Opened app today and there had been an update which now does not allow me to get to the budget without answering a set of questions and there is no way to bypass. I paid for the app to create and track a monthly budget, not to answer your survey in order to do this.
Why are you forcing us to answer a questionnaire to keep using the app!?
I’ve been using this app for years. Love it but whatever update just happened now the app is forcing me to fill out a questionnaire before I can continue to use it. NO. There’s no need for me to tell you all my financial goals and more about my overall finances. The budget tool worked just fine without having to provide that. Add an option to bypass this or sadly, this will be the end of our multi-year relationship.
App Crashes
The app started crashing several months ago. When I try to access the previous month the app crashes and closes. Support has no clue why. No solution.
Online Experience is Better than the App
This app has limited functionality vs. the online experience. Don’t buy membership through Apple Store as that will limit your support from Ramsey Solutions directly. Buy online to get best options, sales, and support.
Update: As I continue to use it because I paid for it, I find so many features that are not user friendly. The savings tracker has math behind it that I can’t make any sense of. Makes me want to start from scratch with a balance update each month because the built-in accounting leads to balances that are off, even if my account is directly linked. So frustrating.

User friendly, but slow
This app is one of the more user friendly and intuitive budget apps out there. However, transactions can take days to load into the app, which can make it extremely hard to track how much money is actually currently left in the budget. This basically results in the entire budget being three or four days behind (more, if transactions are recorded on a weekend). I end up having to use separate applications and notes to keep track of current expenses and budgets, and if I’m going to do that…. Then why have the dang app anyway? This would be a 5/5 app if they could just get the transactions to load into their system even within 24 hours. I hope they make these changes moving forward, because with the way the app is now, I honestly can’t recommended it to anyone.
