No continuity between app and website subscriptions
Systems don’t talk to each other and I paid for two accounts at the same time without realizing. I wrote the company back to see if I could get a partial refund and they refused because it was “agreed to at sign up” for each account. Not a girl’s girl move on the part of the company, especially in this economy. People before businesses.
Scam
These guys charge much more than any other product on the market and their trial is only 3 days which they do a great job hiding. I was going to trial it and was charged before I even got a proper chance to try it out, with no recourse for a refund through Apple Store (I applied for a refund and was rejected). This review - as small and meaningless as it is in the grand scheme of things - is what the $23 you scammed from me bought you.
HIIT based program
The app is great if you like hiit workouts.
Impossible to Cancel
Beware, they’ll keep charging you even though it looks like you cancelled the subscription.
Customer service was horrible
I signed up for a one-year subscription through their website and was disappointed to find that when the renewal date came around, I did not receive any reminder before being charged for another full year. I contacted customer service the same day the charge appeared on my credit card, hoping to resolve the issue promptly. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing they could do, and a refund was not an option. This was extremely frustrating, as a simple reminder could have prevented the situation entirely. I would have expected more flexibility and understanding, especially given how quickly I reached out. This experience has left me disappointed in their customer service and policies. Try at your own risk!
No reminder emails before annual renewals
If desired, be sure to cancel your membership before your renewal date. There is no reminder email prior to your card being charged and the customer support team has no leniency on the policy. They also take days to respond to your email in between communications. Very disappointed with this.
Additionally, I could have sworn that I cancelled my membership several months ago in the app before deleting it from my phone. But the customer service team directed me to the website to cancel. I’ve read multiple reviews that this seems to be an issue and now I’m wondering if I’ve experienced the same where I cancelled through the app, but needed to cancel through the website also. Again, very disappointed.

Do not use pregnancy program
Pregnancy program is basically the same workout every week. Waste of money to pay for it. Don’t recommend. Better fitness apps out there with more creative pregnancy programs.
Also if you had tone and sculpt before - you don’t qualify for a free trial even if it says so at checkout so you will get charged immediately. Company will not refund or make exceptions so proceed with caution before enrolling.
YouTube has better options or the new Kayla Itsines app.

Horrible customer service
The app is alright, I’ve had it for years but the worst customer service, I’ve seen from any subscription app, makes it not worth it.
Need help canceling
I will alter this review if I can get in contact with someone on the team to verify my subscription was canceled, I signed up using Apple and read the reviews after the fact, I cancelled through Apple itself but apparently you have to on the site as well? I can’t even login on the site since I used my Apple ID
BEWARE OF AUTO RENEW
PSA: If you want to cancel your subscription to this app, confirm you did it through their website. If you cancel your account through Apple/the app, it will still auto renew. When that happens they basically middle finger you requesting your money back. The app is cool enough, customer service sucks and they don’t operate in transparency when it comes to canceling subscriptions.
Edit: I looked into other peoples experiences and realized I’m not the only person that this has happened to.
2nd Edit in response to the developer: I’m a 32 year old millennial who doesn’t use a computer. I found out about EvolveYou on instagram that routed me to the App Store which is where I signed up. I had never been to EvolveYou’s website prior to trying to figure out why I had been charged a renewal. I had to have customer support help me with logging to in to my account because the email that was used for auto renewal said it was invalid. I’m paying for another year on the technicality that I missed the email they sent me for the auto renewal of a subscription THAT I ALREADY CANCELED. Fix the transparency around HOW to properly cancel a membership because the support page is a joke. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

Poor customer service
I had purchased a year subscription for the app to give it a try. I used it for a few months but found I am more of a group workout type of person. I could not cancel the subscription since I had paid for a year, no big deal worth a try! Later in the year around Black Friday I remembered the year was almost up and was waiting for a reminder email about the subscription to renew so I could opt out. The app had been off my phone for so long I couldn’t even get in to it. However the notification never came, I got charged a full additional year for a service I hadn’t used in over half a year. And I immediately emailed customer service that day requesting my subscription be terminated with a refund (again since it was that exact day) and they were less than helpful and essentially told me that type of communication doesn’t exist in their service and that it was too late. A one year subscription to a booming company like that is nothing, and I say booming because Krissy reports her brands success all over her instagram, but to one customer during the holiday season is much more. Disappointed.
Broken payment link + Unreachable Support
I have had an on ongoing issue for over two weeks, and at this point it is completely unacceptable.
I was offered a $59 annual web subscription by Jessica as a resolution for prior problems. I attempted repeatedly to complete payment, but the Stripe payment link provided by your team does not work and returns an error (“There is an issue with your account”), making payment impossible.
I contacted support multiple times and messaged Jessica directly via Facebook Messenger. Despite your stated 2-3 business day response window, I received no response at all - not before the billing date, not after it, and not at any point during this process.
I also attempted to reply to your emails and was met with delivery failures and automated responses, confirming that your communication channels are either broken or not monitored. At this point, it is clear that customers are being funneled into dead ends with no way to reach a human.
Let me be very clear: this is not an app issue, not an onboarding issue, and not user error. This is a billing failure caused by a broken payment link and a complete lack of support follow-through on your end.
As a result of your failure to respond or provide a working payment method, my account is now locked behind an in-app paywall that forces Apple billing at a different price - despite the fact that I attempted in good faith to pay the agreed-upon rate before the deadline and was prevented from doing so by your systems.
I am still willing to pay immediately if you provide a working Stripe link or a manual invoice for the agreed-upon $59 rate. If you are unable or unwilling to resolve this promptly, then say that plainly so I can decide whether continuing with this program is worth any further time, energy, or frustration.
This should not require this level of effort just to give a company money.

Great until it wasn’t
With the web-based subscription, there are no options to manage it. No way to cancel or change it. I followed the instructions on their FAQ page and they’re useless. The option to cancel or manage subscription is not where the forum describes. I only have the option to renew- which also doesn’t work.
I’ve had the app for a year and really enjoyed all the variability it had to offer. I never had any issues until the renewal. My payment method had expired and it didn’t automatically renew. Normally, an easy fix. However even though I updated my payment the app won’t charge it and continues to say there’s an error. With a predicted 3-4 day turn around, I don’t see the point of missing almost a weeks worth of workouts for what should have been a simple solution. Honestly a real turn off for the app. Don’t think it’s worth it. I’ve submitted a request today, I’ll update my review once resolved to give a comprehensive review of their customer service in response to bugs like this.

Cancelling made difficult
It’s not a bad app. I’m restarting my fitness journey after a few years off & didn’t feel like this app was the right fit for what I needed. WHICH IS FINE - it’s great for other people that want this structure. However, I thought I cancelled my subscription the day after I started the free trial. 6 days later I got an alert that I was being charged $120 for the yearly subscription which would’ve been fine if I was going to continue using it. I didn’t realize I had to also cancel in the app AND log in to their site online to cancel a THIRD time. The virtual assistant said there is nothing that can be done about the charge unless I dispute it directly through Apple (although I already cancelled it so it doesn’t show on my Apple charges). For future trial users, I hope this process isn’t such a headache for others if they decide this app is not the right fit for them either.
Good for beginners
As someone who is pretty knowledgeable in lifting i think this app is good for beginners but not for those who know what they are doing. Make sure you let them know a head of time that you want to cancel because turning off automatic renewal isn’t hood enough.
Not working
I loved this app the first year I used it. Now that it has renewed for another year I cannot access the app. At first it erased my history, note I can’t log in. I am ready to cancel.
