I can’t cancel my membership
I’m trying to cancel my membership but it’s not an option in the app.
I tried to ask their AI chat service but couldn’t help me with that neither and then gave me a phone number that doesn’t do the job.
And then they gave me another phone number that didn’t work neither.
However you use this app they ask for full social security number and cannot be helpful at all.
If you haven’t downloaded this virus on your phone yet than you better not doing it.
Because they have my information, i keep receiving offers on my previous address and landlord has called me a thousand times for it to stop using gis mailbox.

Answering machine

I wish I could give zero stars. I made the mistake of using this app to search for car insurance rates. They pop up no name companies with rates that were much higher than my current plan. No big deal, no hassle, i looked I seen and I wasn’t interested. I didn’t visit any links but lo and behold within 5 minutes i am getting bombed with spam text messages and phone calls from car insurance companies. This @&#% appshared my phone number without my permission and now these no name companies are calling my phone. I got a text at 02:30 AM encouraging me to call now for an insurance quote. This app sells your information. Beware!

Lousy
Experian in general is terrible. It takes them forever to raise your score, but will drop it almost overnight. Let me explain…I paid off every dime I owed 4- almost 5 months ago. Score didn’t budge. I put $1000 on my card a couple weeks ago and my score dropped 17 points almost immediately. Everywhere else my score is between 766-775. My score on here is 745. I’ve never made a late payment. They’re so inaccurate it’s ridiculous.

Would Not Recommend
They lower your credit score without telling you why and the chat bot (Eva) is unhelpful in raising it back up. Even having no balance on your cards and no missed/late payments doesn’t work. Hopefully they fix that soon.

Didn’t work at all
I couldn’t even use it at all. I tried to create an account several times over a couple of days and every time it said there were technical difficulties and to try again later. I finally just deleted it. My phone is new and up to date.

Setting up an account
I had issues setting up an account, and their customer service representatives are impossible to reach, as when you call their help number you are confronted with a robot agent. This agent would not let me talk to a representative for assistance after it failing to help me with my problems.

Constant ads
Every single day this app sends me a notification to switch my car insurance, apply for a mortgage, consolidate my debt, apply for a credit card etc.
But if I turn off notifications, I won’t be alerted if something important actually happens so I have to deal with it.
I hate them for this. They make me think something is wrong and then try to sell me something.
Terrible way to do business.

Trouble logging in
I’m sure I updated my phone number and never had problems to log in, now with the newest update my old phone number appeared and I can’t log in. I enter my password as usual and because they had my old phone number I had to answer a security question, PIN number, and my ssn which I did and for some reason it said what I wrote was different than what they had. Now I’m trying to ask for help but I can’t speak to a representative. I hate this.

Cannot speak with Human agent
The moment I ran into a real issues that needs resolved, ie bank account syncing, not getting security code to my verified phone number. There’s no support from virtual that actually resolves the issues and there is no Human Agent online or through the phone number. Our credit affects our financial situation greatly and this app doesn’t feel secure to be the company we use to manage our credit profiles. Are the competitors all the same? There must be a better company. 🙏🏽

App issues
I have been trying to log into the app for over a month now and every time I do it stops me after i log in with my password telling me my subscription needs renewed and wants me to pay for the premium which is fine but then after I try to pay with every single card i have it just pops up with a technical difficulties message. I have even tried to uninstall the app and nothing works. It won’t even give me the option to use the free version or cancel the subscription nothing I’m just locked out stuck on a technical difficulties loop. It’s stupid and has drastically changed my opinion of the app. Fix the bugs!!!

Sign In is Too Extra
I don’t have the same phone number anymore and can’t sign in. App won’t send code to my email as an alternate sign in backup. I hate calling 800 numbers because I have a speech impediment and there isn’t a chat option. So I’m going to delete the app even though I love it because it’s just became useless to me.

Bombarded by "special offers"
Downloaded and signed up to simply monitor my credit. Instead I receive almost daily app notifications for "special offer" advertisements. There doesn't seem to be any Setting to change this, so the only way is to turn off ALL app notifications which negates the entire purpose of this app!

I got an offer from Experian for credit scores from 3 credit bureaus, etc. In the payment window it showed “$0.00”. There was nothing about a free trial or any charges that would be levied. So I accepted the offer and gave a link to a prepaid credit card with a very low balance. When I tried to log in today I got a message that my payment source did not work and I needed to pay $24.99 to log in to my account. This is the Experian app that I am using and I did have full use of the app for approximately 7 days. I am assuming this is a monthly charge, but there is no other information. I tried to access chat in the support session but it would only tell me I owe $24.99. This app is not listed in my subscription list in my Apple account which is unusual, so I am have been unable to check subscription details there. My big problem is that I seem to have no way to determine whether this “$24.99” charge is monthly, weekly, daily, yearly, or lifetime. This seems like a rather shady way of operating a business. I definitely think of Experian as a legit business and am quite shocked that they would use this type of sales tactic. Am I missing something Experian?
