As a fan, I believe there should be a more affordable option to watch races live without having to subscribe to an additional streaming service. Formula 1 is a global sport, and access to live races should be simpler and more transparent.
Please consider offering a standalone live-streaming package at a reasonable price. Many fans would appreciate having more flexible viewing options.

F1 TV vs Sky Sports
Sky Sports coverage is much better than F1 TV. Sky has more presenters with a greater variety of viewpoints. Martin Brundle is the best. David Croft is excellent at calling the races.

Why do I now need to subscribe to Apple TV to watch the races? Why do I now have to scroll through their content every time I want to watch the F1 channel. I was very happy having to pay my yearly subscription to F1. Now it’s a burden and an imposition to all F1 lovers.

i have been watching f1 on the same internet , apple tv device and then both an old and now a new tv for years. never had an issue until appletv bought it . now i have seconds of delays and voice not matching the bluer card and people - it’s constant and so so so bad! i have to restart everything and the only get a few minutes of matching voice and video and clarity. when i pause it doesn’t even pause !!! appletv blamed it on f1 - but i know his theses fake partnership - buyouts work- everyone blames the other company and the consumer gets screwed! i loved f1 tv now hate it. thanks to stupid apple greed
Don’t waste your money
Not worth the cost. Still had to get Apple TV to watch F1 races and when I cancelled 2 days after getting it, not having been able to watch anything because it was all locked, I couldn’t get my money back. Complete ripoff. Don’t waste your money

Dude… I used to work in F1… I know the money you guys spend… This is 2026… I can download the entire season of Jersey Shore, Euphoria and Love Island before a flight…. But the most technically advanced 4 wheel racing???? Yeah not so much… Nothing says “Premier” or “High Tech” like an app stuck in 2006. This is the Mastercard Lola of apps.

Atleast once a year this app gives me problems, I can usually get it sorted by either logging out or deleting the app and re-downloading it. But starting a few days ago I have not been able to solve the issue and they’re not available for support despite the fact that I’ve paid for an additional year of service. Very frustrating.

Apple TV ruined F1 TV
We are very disappointed with Apple TVs takeover of F1 TV app. We aren’t able to watch/listen to the international feed which is by far the best one to view and listen to.

Issues verifying email
Not entirely sure why email verification needs to be a requirement for signing in but since it is, could you at least make it work ?? I’ve been trying to log in for 10 mins despite already verifying my email several times.

The casting of this app is the absolute worst. I hate having to use it every week. It makes watching F1 a misery. What else do you expect from Saudi Arabia.

I’ve watched f1 on this app for a long time, now it keeps asking me to buy an Apple TV subscription over and over in order to watch. Races won’t play. When I ask the help agent it comes back, sorry we don’t understand. Agent has left. Canceling my subscription. What did I even pay for? What a fraud.

Terrible app
Big fan of F1 that’s why I have this app, but when it comes to video play back it’s terrible. Wish there was a setting to play videos in a lower resolution.
Does not function
Updates every week for no change at all. Won't function unless you update. Currently it won't even let me in since the switch to Apple tv. It just takes me to a blank browser page.

App doesn’t work!
I live in France i purchased the app for a year. The app doesn’t work. No videos available for France but they took the money. I deleted and canceled the subscription the same day. They charged me anyway. I asked apple for refund i was denied i asked F1 for refund i was denied. What a nice way for Apple and F1 to treat their customers. Never again! I am pretty sure i’ll never buy an app again.
Terrible racing
Cancelled my subscription after having it for 4 years. The racing being artificial makes it less enjoyable to watch.

I was ok paying a premium rate ($89/ yr.) for the F1 TV subscription before this latest change happened, but I can’t justify paying Apple TV $12.99/ mo. ($155/ yr.) to only watch Formula 1!! Bad move for F1 TV.

What a Blown Opportunity
I have been a stateside Formula One fan for over a decade. The F1 TV service has been the crown jewel of my sports watching experience. There was access to an archive of F1 races, multiple commentary options, and everything simplified into a price plan that could be paid yearly with no blackouts or restrictions whatsoever. This year, F1 decided to sell out and package everything into Apple TV. Not only are there now commercials, sponsored screen overlays, an unavoidable monthly charge that is subject to price hikes, making the entire flow of what made F1 so good now crushed. I do not understand what the point of this was. F1 knew they were in a great position to attract American motorsport fans. This legitimately makes me consider never paying for the service again and switching over to a different motorsport series.

Buggy
Many problems when casting to my tv. Begins “live” when I’ve selected “from the beginning”! Spoils the whole race… switched my subscription to Apple TV which was a big mistake! Also has casting issues.. I do like the presenters and coverage by the ex F1 drivers. The head presenter can be a bit much calling it like a horse race, but thats just my preference..

Good app with problems
Still has problems it’s a disappointment at this point it’s pretty good on an iPhone if you use the app on a tv. The aspect ratio is so off you can’t even watch anything on it and it’s definitely on the f1 side did everything possible to the tv to fix it and can’t so I don’t even bother anymore. Far cry from when I couldn’t wait to wake up and watch qualy and the race
Airplay Doesn’t Work Half the Time
The app itself works well, and quick access to all cameras during a race is decently implemented, but trying to screencast the race through airplay is genuinely one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve dealt with.
Once you start screencasting, everything starts to buffer, takes forever to load, and once it loads there’s a 50% chance it only plays for 15 seconds and buffers again, OR it restarts the entire broadcast again and proceeds to buffer. Not to mention while screencasting if you choose to view the race live or from the beginning, it ignores your choice and just goes to the live feed anyway.
It’s quite the joke that Apple and F1 are official partners and they can’t even get the software to work together properly.

Non stop crashing in 2026
This app used to work great. Since the 2026 season started, it constantly crashes on Apple TV. Please give it some love, it’s a shame that stability has gone downhill. The user experience itself is still top notch.
Needs help
The catalog is wonderful to view past races. It is very disappointing the app crashes evertime you want to watch and listen to the main sky broadcast. Also can’t view the car cams. App crashes when you try. I can only watch f1 live video with sky commentary. This happened all last year also. Wish we got what we are paying for. This is the only way we can see the sky broadcast. Thought Apple was going to improve things but has not yet.
You’ll only use it because you have to
As proprietary streaming apps go, it’s among the worst. It’s laggy, lossy, a massive memory hog, and inexplicably has no background audio option so I can’t listen to race commentary while I’m driving or on the treadmill.
