Atleast once a year this app gives me problems, I can usually get it sorted by either logging out or deleting the app and re-downloading it. But starting a few days ago I have not been able to solve the issue and they’re not available for support despite the fact that I’ve paid for an additional year of service. Very frustrating.

I can’t stand this new subscription process with Apple. It’s so confusing. I’m questioning if it’s even worth the hassle.
Apple TV ruined F1 TV
We are very disappointed with Apple TVs takeover of F1 TV app. We aren’t able to watch/listen to the international feed which is by far the best one to view and listen to.

Issues verifying email
Not entirely sure why email verification needs to be a requirement for signing in but since it is, could you at least make it work ?? I’ve been trying to log in for 10 mins despite already verifying my email several times.

I’ve watched f1 on this app for a long time, now it keeps asking me to buy an Apple TV subscription over and over in order to watch. Races won’t play. When I ask the help agent it comes back, sorry we don’t understand. Agent has left. Canceling my subscription. What did I even pay for? What a fraud.

EVERY WEEK requiring re-entering user id and password! Awful navigation. Double soundtracks as it fails to terminate one when selecting another show. Lip sync off by 1-3 seconds. Written by complete amateurs. Complete garbage App.

Terrible app
Big fan of F1 that’s why I have this app, but when it comes to video play back it’s terrible. Wish there was a setting to play videos in a lower resolution.
Does not function
Updates every week for no change at all. Won't function unless you update. Currently it won't even let me in since the switch to Apple tv. It just takes me to a blank browser page.

I live in France i purchased the app for a year. The app doesn’t work. No videos available for France but they took the money. I deleted and canceled the subscription the same day. They charged me anyway. I asked apple for refund i was denied i asked F1 for refund i was denied. What a nice way for Apple and F1 to treat their customers. Never again! I am pretty sure i’ll never buy an app again.
Terrible racing
Cancelled my subscription after having it for 4 years. The racing being artificial makes it less enjoyable to watch.

Bad move for F1 TV.

What a Blown Opportunity
I have been a stateside Formula One fan for over a decade. The F1 TV service has been the crown jewel of my sports watching experience. There was access to an archive of F1 races, multiple commentary options, and everything simplified into a price plan that could be paid yearly with no blackouts or restrictions whatsoever. This year, F1 decided to sell out and package everything into Apple TV. Not only are there now commercials, sponsored screen overlays, an unavoidable monthly charge that is subject to price hikes, making the entire flow of what made F1 so good now crushed. I do not understand what the point of this was. F1 knew they were in a great position to attract American motorsport fans. This legitimately makes me consider never paying for the service again and switching over to a different motorsport series.

This app 100% sucks now. User interface is terrible since 2025, and they cut out the Sky Sports commentary.
Use the commentators in the F1 Movie, but screw them out of the picture in the live in-season production.

App Crashes
The app keeps crashing on playback on the Apple TV. After updates on Apple TV it still crashes.
Garbage
This has just become a garbage app. Buy the subscription it doesn’t work, can’t like the app on your phone to the tv, if you get the subscription on the tv it’s impossible to cancel, can’t watch anything live, and 0 support. It’s trash
Forget about support
This app really bad every year they get me. It’s always something wrong with the app. F1 points their finger at Apple‼️ Apple points to finger F1 and we are caught in the middle. I live in Ecuador and I have to watch the races on 👎 Apple TV‼️‼️

It really sucks that I am forced to signup to Apple TV to be able to watch F1. I’ve been an F1 subscriber for years. I hate Apple TV, I rather use Netflix. Why are we being forced to do or watch something we don’t like. Totally disagree!!!
Persistent Errors with AirPlay
Why can I watch without issue on my tiny phone screen but it t usually fails trying to AirPlay to the TV?
Bring back sector times
Removing sector times with the great AWS 2026 reboot was the worst decision in the history of this app. I now have to subscribe and pay for 3rd party apps to get what was forever included in the Data channel. This completely sucks. Terrible decision.

They took us out Tornello as race commentator in Mexico. Why? We should have the right to choose commentators in Latin America.

Bad subscription service
There is only one plan designed to give you half access and then you have to upgrade in the computer…
Too many updates
Almost every week I have to update the app, at least it feels like it. PITA. Slow. Slow. Slow. My Internet connection is 385 MB per second and yet the wheel always spins.
So many glitches
I was hoping that when Apple TV took on the broadcast that some issues would be fixed. For example, every single time I go to watch either the F1 TV PRO or F1 on Apple TV I have to log in, every time!
Last week the international Commentary did not work. Both F1 Live and International had the F1 Live commentary.
The buffering and freezing is a problem. I have 200 mbs both Up and Download speed's. I have plenty of memory and storage space available on all devices. This is the only app on my devices including tv that has these issues. I like being able to follow five drivers and the race now but at such a low resolution it is worthless really.
I give 2 stars because of these issues and because it is the only game in town if you want to watch F1.
So I say go ahead and get it just be prepared for lots of glitches.

2026 Regs
Sorry guys but I just can’t watch cars on the straights full throttle slowing down 1/2 way because the stupid battery is out of charge. I’ve been a fan of the sport since the late 70’s but this is utter nonsense. Let me know when you get rid of the hybrid nonsense and bring us a real sport and not Formula E Light.

For years ai have loved attending Fi races and watching F1 races on ESPN with Crofty, Martin Brindle and the rest of the great team who brought F1 races into our homes. The “new”
F1 TV channel sucks. It is awful. The buffering problems with the video is crazy making and the programming sucks. It has the worst lineup of commentators I’ve ever seen. The women are ugly and very poorly dressed. And Lawrence Barretto is awful. It’s liking watching an old queen interview the drivers. He’s awful! The show looks like it’s trying to be as WOKE as it possibly can. F1 exploded in the US and worldwide over the past few years and the newF1 channel and its on air team and format should ably chase away plenty of viewers. I am still a PSL season ticket holder in Austin but F1 is losing me fast. The races aren’t fun anymore. INDYCAR is becoming more fun to watch. And there is absolutely NOTHING WOKE about INDYCAR. I think the new F1 TV channel will lose viewership rather than gain it.

That was undoubtedly the worst coverage of a F1 race my mates and I (9 of us) have ever seen. Timing needs to show values out to 3-decimal places. The commentators NEVER STOPPED THEIR CONSTANT BLATHER. Do they not realize that the sound of the cars is just as important as the sight of the cars.
At least stop yammering during in-car shots. In order to enjoy the race we turned OFF THE SOUND and followed the race by the timing sidebar.

Forcing Apple TV
I want to watch F1, not pay 3x for the least used streaming service. Selling the streaming rights to them was just plain stupid. I’ll only be watching highlights this year, until it’s finally accessible on the actual F1 Tv app
Were did the sector time go?
Who cares about the new “Track pPulse” events on the expense of individual sector times? People can follow that separately. The sector times were essentiall for live feed to see actual pace. Come on, bring it back ! Please
