Overly Sexual Content
I had to disable notifications because of the unwarranted facts dishing sexual content. I have young children in my home and if they, or anyone for that matter, would have taken a look at the wrong time, it would not be good. This immediately pushes me away from paying full price & they should have a way to remove that subject entirely (maybe unless specifically requested, but not by default)

Mediocre facts for too much $$
This app started out pretty decent. I of course missed the renewal and got charged for it. The facts have drastically gone downhill and are absolutely not worth the $$ they charge. Latest fact: “where food goes to get nuked microwave”.

False information
I just now got a fact that says you can download YouTube videos if you type in www.ssyoutube.com. And that is a blocked website.

Downloaded for a few days received some mildly interesting “facts” then got a few that sounded absurd like “women have twice as many pain receptors on their bodies than men, but they have a much higher pain tolerance” I knew this was categorically false so looked at the apps “source” for the fact and it was some random blog post from 2017, scraping the internet for random unvetted nonsense and marketing as “cool facts” is lazy af and not what anyone needs
THEY WRONGFULLY CHARGED ME
I was wrongfully charged for a year subscription of 35$. I tried the free trial and as soon as it ended in which I got no reminder like I asked, they charged me 35$ that I don’t have!!!!! This is wrong and I need a refund.

A lot of “facts” are presented in ways that grab attention rather than prioritize accuracy, and some are simply incorrect. My friends would laugh at me if I say those out.

I thought this would be a cute little family oriented app to have. I was going to share it with my kids. The last three facts were about sex and orgasms. lol. I’m no prude, but I’d like my kids to skip the raunchy stuff until it’s their time, ya know? No thanks.

Some facts are just random opinions?
Very weird - almost like a kid designed it? For example one fact says “Men are not funnier than women, they just make jokes not caring whether other people like their humor or not” or there was one about the best feeling orgasm. Super weird

The facts app is just airing ads and hiding it as facts. I’ve gotten multiple “facts” that glp1s lower stress and boost mood! Stoppppp pushing drugs on people! Sell out!
Gave me feelings instead of facts
I thought it’d have more random facts but it gave some opinions and also just cringey advice. It seemed more harmful than helpful.

To start you only get 3 general topics to choose from unless you pay money. Lastly the “facts” they give are usually false or misconceptions that are obviously wrong with a google search.

Unresponsive to my refund request
I downloaded this app, using the free trial, and intended to cancel within the allotted time. I missed that window by a matter of hours and reached out to the support team to request a cancellation and a refund. I have since reached out again to follow up, and have still received no response. I cannot speak to the quality of the content in the app, having never used it, but I can say that the creators of the app have no respect for their users. I would steer clear if that matters to you.
Inaccurate Information
A lot of these facts are wrong - for instance, it said that Jeju and Komodo Islands are part of the 7 natural wonders of the world. And sometimes when you click on the info link, it either doesn’t work or takes you to an invalid link. So I’m not sure what to trust.

Many facts are either outdated or incorrect, and many of the linked sources don’t exist.

Widget needs a lot of work
I really like the facts that this app offers but the widget which I use the most needs a lot of work. Sometimes the widget is broken a lot of times it repeats facts over and over again despite they’re being so many within the app itself.
Waste of time
Makes you go through a bunch of questions to set up app then at the end you have to pay for it. Just be upfront that it’s a paid app and don’t waste my time

Some of these are false, misleading or oversimplified.

Allows you to download for free then asks for payment after setting things up. If I had known I would have to pay to use the app, I wouldn’t have downloaded it to begin with.

A lot of the “facts” this pulls up are just false statements. I’ve used it for about three days and it’s definitely not showing facts, a simple google search proves this app wrong nine times out of ten.

I downloaded this to hear interesting facts throughout the day. But when something says “assume” that is not a facts😅 some things are just silly wise tales that they say. I wish this was more factual.

a lot of the “facts” on this app are just myths or old wives tales rather than being evidence based objective truths. if you actually want to learn something do not get this app
Incorrect
The app is good, and it is nice to have it as a lock screen widget to learn as you turn in your phone, but there are many facts I’ve decided ti search to see if true, and have been wrong. Please fact check before adding it to the app, it is misleading.
Doesn’t display the right facts
I really wanted to love this app - the concept is exactly what I was hoping for, unfortunately- I don’t actually get to read the facts I find interesting because when I get a notification and it’s something that sounds interesting, I open the app and… see an entirely different fact with no way to go back to the one that was in the notification. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even bother opening them because I know I won’t actually learn more.
A lot of misinformation
I'm usually not one to leave reviews but... I gotta say, a lot of these claims are not factual. I shouldn't have to fact-check each claim, it kinda defeats the purpose of the app. I would say about 50% of the facts aren't even factual. I was pretty disappointed. My suggestion? Pool from reputable sources, and verify each claim it makes.
Same thing rotating
I enjoyed it for like 2 days, and it’s the same 10 facts rotating on my screen for over a month, no new things…

Okay, should be able to thumb down facts so you don’t get more like that. Some are so stupid!
Not worth it
So you have to get a subscription of like $3 and i was like i’ll try the free trial. I got a fact that said “ants don’t fall asleep” cool! The next hour I got a fact that said “Ants stretch when they wake up” 🤨 So i did research and ants do sleep and they don’t stretch when they wake up so why are we lying? Also it’s stupid facts and it’s nothing like the interesting ones you see BEFORE you make the subscription. It’s a good concept just needs to be better.
Disappointed
This app had such great reviews I had to get it. Unfortunately, I get many duplicate facts 3-5 times and I’ve only had it for a month. I even have all categories check marked. I want my money back.

Same six facts on repeat
The lock screen widget feature is why I decided to download this, and pay for it, and it’s the same six facts on a cycle. Massively disappointing. Had the same experience with the vocab one.
Repetitive
Was very excited about this app with this widget feature so I could get fun facts on my Home Screen. But then the facts were really repetitive. Had to cancel before the free trial ended.
Questionable “facts”
You can click the fact for the source but 4/5 times, the information it is linked to has nothing to do with the provided fact. Comes across as them taking popular internet fads and adding them to the mix marketing them as facts.

Some are FAKE!
Some of the facts are fun and real. BUT others are just strait up fake. I looked some up I ended up shocked(also lots of sex facts).
