Ripoff
Loved this game and played all the time until my iPad crashed from the last update. I've been playing for years so had amassed quite a bit of GBs. Lost it all, they were no help, had to start out from the beginning. But that's not the worse, after the crash EVERTHING is 10x more expensive. Before the crash, 100M GBs $4.99 after only 15M! Before, 15 Midas Touch clubs $1.99 after only 2. And it's still the old price on my phone! Even after the last update! Bye-Bye Fairway Golf!
Dissatisfaction
I’ve been playing this game for over 12 years, never an issue. Build up my GB’s, build up everything. Golf clubs, shuffles, you name it, I had a stash of everything. Then all of a sudden everything that I had build up over the years was completely gone. I emailed customer support, haven’t heard back from them. Received a email stating that, they had received my complaint, and that they would get back to me as soon as possible. Well, it’s been almost a month. Sorry to say, this was one of my favorite games, but I refuse to start over from the beginning. Uninstalling. This game cheats. It cheats a lot. Goodbye.

I’ve played this game for years. It used to be that you could watch ads to get a few boosters. Now it’s ads in between every single course and there’s no option to purchase the game. The reviews I see are from years ago so this game is coasting on positive feedback that doesn’t reflect its current state.
Great game - horrible support
I used to love this game, but the technical support that used to be so great is completely absent. I have been trying to contact support for 3 months now, and all I ever get is an automated reply that support is taking longer than usual. Then it says that if I don’t reply within 72 hours they will close my ticket.
No support
Don’t waste your time getting invested in Fairway Solitaire. They have stopped fixing issues with this game. You will be disappointed when the inevitable glitch happens and no one responds or fixes the problem.
Length of Ads
The ads are repetitive and last way too long. Not worth my time to spend 15 minutes watching the same ad over and over.. about ready to delete.
Update Greed Kill
New 4/29/26 update now forces Ads mid game vs the end. With no option to pay one time fee to go Ad free means this game now goes to the trash bin.
Bad tech help with problems in this game. All they due is respond by email...
All they do is respond by a form letter email that says they're too busy with an update or they are overwhelmed with compaint, but tell you if you respond a t the top od the email they will keep your case open and try to fix it. All my progress disappears. I have two tickets open but it's been months and it's not resolved. The same emails (like a described above) get sent and you must respond for them to keep your case open. I don't care about poeple who rack up millions of coins and hundreds of those gold golf clubs if you don't spend money on the game.

This game wants you to fail
Loved this game forever but got to a level I have been on for more than 4 months now, and still will not let me win!!! Please make the levels a bit easier, get so frustrated when I can’t get the score down, and the game makes fun of you with the little gopher making faces at you when you fail, maybe I just have bad stinking luck but I hate his game now! 😡😡😡

Suddenly started ads out of nowhere and if you don’t watch them they take away your progress. Among may other annoyances. Delete
Ad free does not mean ad free
I’ve been playing this game for years and paid to have it ad-free. A week ago or so, I started being inundated with ads. I’ve contacted them repeatedly and was told it was fixed. It wasn’t. Don’t pay for ad-free, it is not.

What happens to this game?
I used to play this game and it was very manageable. I just came back to it and I can't even get past level 20 it's much harder and I never get the cards I need. It's not as enjoyable as it once was. I won't play this again.
Crashes
Recent update has ruined the game...so many problems that BF can't seem to fix...shows a lack of testing before going "live" with this update....doesn't appear that they have the personnel knowledgeable enough to fix the problems.

It keeps Restarting!
I’ve played this game on and off for years now. Never had an issue, until recently. I played the game last monday with no issue. The next day I logged on and found that I’m now back to level 1?!?! I was past level 200 and now I’m back to level one! It’s so frustrating to feel like all my progress is gone just like that. To make it worse I played a few rounds thinking maybe my old progress would load back, but instead I found the game restarted again and now I’m back to level one! It just keeps restarting and isn’t saving my progress anymore. Very disappointed
Ads ruined it!!!
I’ve been playing for nearly a decade and now they make you watch ads. If they don’t fix this or offer a paid version without ads I’m deleting it. Terrible!
Too many pop ups!
I’ve been playing this game for literally almost for more than a decade. Won’t be playing it much longer because every other minute, there’s a pop-up ad of at least 30 seconds to a minute that you have to endure before they’ll let play again. It’s to the point where it’s so annoying. I’m gonna go find another solitaire game bye bye-bye Fairway Soltaire.

I paid for the No-Ads version & enjoyed playing the game for a long time until they started putting ads. At first it was an ad every few courses but recently they flooded the app with so much ads it’s literally impossible to play or enjoy the game anymore.

This used to be my fave for the graphics and game style. It was so fun to play anytime. But the recent update has longgggg ads after every round and it’s unbearable. I’ve been playing this for years without ads. What happened?

I have played the game for years. When I first downloaded, I paid to not have ads and now they are showing up waaaaay too much. I am about to delete and move on.

Played this since inception and looked forward to it every day until last week when they decided to interrupt a good time by ruining the fun with stinking ads that I am forced to endure for 2 minutes when they occur. Pay to win & weird commentary
I’m pretty far into the game and I’ve just decided to switch to a different one. There are deals that cannot be won without making a purchase, which is what they’re counting on. If you want to reap the benefits of a streak and you’re on a deal that’s unable to be won, many would go ahead and spend the money on extra cards, etc.
There’s also a weird comment made by one of the “hosts” that loops through about men and women which just seems oddly out of place for a golf themed game.

Too many LONG ads
You have to watch the ad for a few seconds before you can move to the 2nd ad and a couple more seconds until it opens the App Store to buy the app in the ad and then one more. Also the ads come with sound that you have to find the volume button to turn off. The volume button is grayed out just like the ⏩▶️ buttons so they’re hard to find. There’s no option to pay for the game only buying features like points and whatever. I haven’t played for a couple of years and after the last couple days I remember why I stopped. Time to delete it off my phone
If You Enjoy Not Being Able To Close Ads, This Is the Game For You!
It is almost impossible to close ads in this game, so if you are looking for that, this is the game for you, if you would rather play the game, download blast solitaire, which is also by Big Fish, with the added bonus of no ads whatsoever, just addicting game play!
LONG ADS between games
The recent addition of ads after each game is annoying, made worse by how long some of them are. I watch enough ads on the game for other reasons this is making it not fun.
Why am I seeing ads?
I purchased the full unlock version in 2014 and all of a sudden I’m seeing ads pop up on my iPad app of this game. What a nuisance.
100 losses in a row!!!!!
I’m a sociologist and I decided to do a research project on this game. I played one hole 100 times in a row without even getting to the 4th hole (out of 6). Of those 100 times I only extended to the 3rd hole 10 times, I extended to the second hole 14 times. And YES I used the clubs, shuffling, etc. Given the fact that I couldn’t progress after 100 games I am done with this app. Totally turned me off. You made it too difficult for anyone.
Very bad
The game here is not fun and not good because of the ads and it is not equal in gameplay in addition to the confusions in it. I advise not to download it at all because it is not equal.

Fun… but requires money to win
It’s a ton of fun. Love the colors and it is incredibly interesting. But every level is so crazy hard that unless you spend coins, redos, shuffles, and previews you can’t win. The stamps also expire so soon they aren’t helpful either. Plus there are ads left and right. I feel like if they wanted people to actually play they would change the algorithm to allow for the ability to pass a level. I can understand the difficulty being higher to get a perfect or hit other special rewards. But just to advance is near impossible. I used to love this game. But no more. The greed is apparent from the developers.

Been playing for years. Now ads after every course and no option to purchase an ad-free version. There are plenty of games out there to play. Why would you risk loosing future revenue for these ads? It’s all about time management. I would rather purchase an ad-free version than wait for an ad to finish.

The dialog is really interesting, in that if you replay a level, the conversation changes from the previous attempt, and the card layout will be slightly different.
There are mini challenges within each course, such as “play a run using no face cards”, which make the game exciting.
My only complaint is that I can’t play my own music in the background; as soon as you start the app, any music playing is overridden. I’d love to see this change! It would be cool to still leave the noises and commentators on, but just be able to play your own soundtrack. Also, having 5 Golf Bucks in the gold cards after you max out through”Great Shot!” meter is a slap in the face; please change this! Otherwise, this game is perfect.

App quit working
Had 800,000 points and now app won’t load. It keeps shutting off! Tried to delete it and re download it. Still doesn’t work. Is this the bug fix that happened a week ago??? So frustrating.
