Greek app full of errors
The “grammer” prompts in the app are full of errors, giving repeated and frequent incorrect translations of the Greek words in English.
The app also marks as correct , incorrect uses of basic articles (accepting as correct, for example, a female article η or μια when in fact the word is masculine or neuter and requires ο/το/εναν/ενα.

What do I repeat back?
I just downloaded it and I’m not happy with the app. It doesn’t tell me what I need to say to repeat it. Duolingo and Airlearn actually tell you what to say so you know what to repeat back to the AI.

1) The app gave me a correct answer when I clearly didn’t say it correctly

Worst App
It doesn’t have account creation system. You can’t login and can’t keep your progress. For free user, it isn’t recommended. It has only few free lessons.
Instead of that please use Busuu app which provides free multi languages learning facilities with practical work on all skills and best grammar explanations as well.

Don’t get it
This app is not great. I wish I could get my 50 dollars back. It jams words and sentences down your throat without explaining or even pronouncing anything for you first. It acts like you already know the language. I did much better with YouTube videos …. Which is how I breezed thru the first 80 something lessons. But now that I’ve gotten into words that I am not already familiar with, this app has no teaching capability. Nothing sticks, because of the way it’s presented , you just get it wrong over and over.

Chats e Falou
Desde de uma das atualizações o app não funciona direito não meu iPad, meu progresso foi todo pro Chats, agora tentei usar o Chats (que eu tenho a versão paga) e diz que não tenho conta no Falou(sendo que eu tenho sim). Espero que isso seja consertado já que é um dos meus apps favoritos de aprendizagem e estou muito decepcionada por não poder estar usando.

Polish phrases are incorrect. Example, they mix up pytać and prosić

The latest format is terrible!
I’ve had this app for a couple of years now. The app has gone through several changes and the latest version is absolutely terrible. The sentences they ask you to mimic don’t make any sense at all and you can’t choose your own lessons anymore. Don’t know how so many people rate this app so highly!

Initial Falou was great and I would highly recommend it in the past. But

I thought that updates are improvement. Well not at all.

I was charged additional 16$ on a top of my yearly subscription. So this year they got 45$ out of my pocket.
I will be cancelling my subscription.

Learning Portuguese
I am using Falou to learn Portuguese and it was great at 1st but I have ran into a problem and emailed 2 times with no response. I am on Chapter 8 and it is struck making me do the same lesson over and over. How can I learn when it’s the same thing day after day. I paid for 1 year and will not renew if this is not fixed.

Slow and near impossible
I love the idea of this app, especially because they have Hindi but the processing to correct pronunciation takes far too long and it’s almost always comes back as “error” even when I have a native speaker repeat the word.
Don’t spend money on this
I am an idiot and spent money on this. It doesn’t even catch your voice. I’m learning Turkish and it will complete the sentence for you and pretend you got it right when you haven’t even say the whole thing yet. Bummer
edit: the grammar is also wrong and they give you sentences like “Good morning, pencil case!” Wtf.
