Family Farm Adventure

Don’t waste your money. They make it near to impossible to complete any of the challenges without having to pay money. Then, even when you use your hard earned tokens to gain an extra space on your manufacturing buildings, the have the nerve to then lock those spaces and ask you to pay money to “unlock” them. Pure greed! The game is not even good enough to pay this much to progress. Shame on you!

I enjoyed this game for a few days, but after I got to a certain level, the “offers” got insane. I willingly spent $2.99 on a newcomer package, then shortly after bought a $9.99 “pass” for extra rewards to be gained during the monthly themed story.
Turns out the “month” was only going to be 20 days or so - not a full 30. Red flag number one.
Then it became clear that EVERY DAY there’s a new little mini story that lasts between 2-4 days that ALSO has “passes” that cost between $2.99 to $4.99. So, over $1 per day on those alone, and more than one of them running at a time.
Of course, it’s not *required* for you to buy anything at all, but they shove them at you at a rate I’ve never seen before. And all the little icons clog the heck out of your home screen.
Now, I don’t blame game developers for making it *possible* for people who have more money than they know what to do with to go nuts on a game. But that’s what the Shop is for. Want more energy or game resources? Look in the shop. Always a deal going.
But this game leans HARD on people who have problems with impulse control when it comes to spending “just a little” here and there, and end up putting potentially a couple hundred bucks a MONTH into a casual game.
It’s downright predatory.
Also, as I see another reviewer has said, they may be overcharging. The $12.98 + tax I thought I’d spent showed up in my bank as a $40 charge! They said something about Apple bundling their charges and that perhaps my purchases in their game was included with other things. I can’t seem to find anything ITEMIZED within the game OR with Apple, so I was ready to let it go. But seeing another reviewer with the same issue, I’m calling it out!
And I’ll be deleting the game altogether as soon as I’ve finished typing this.

What kind of ads are you showing that shows cruelty to animals?!!!!!!!!!! I don’t care if it’s a game or not!!! You will be reported!!!! Deleting this game and any other games you have!!!!!!!!! And D O N O T Response with your generic comment !!!!!!!

There are game pictures listed in the preview section where a woman’s hand is dragging the soil to create irrigation for the animals… that is NOT this game. That is not Family Farm Adventure. What the heck?!

This was such a disappointment. It was so fun until the pressure to keep spending and wasting real money on this game made me delete it. This game turned out to be like a bad gambling addiction. Either spend a lot of real money or you can’t progress or have to wait forever for things to get done. Get Farmside on Apple Arcade! One flat fee and it’s a really fun game that doesn’t pressure you!

An ad came up for a game I was playing with a puppy trying to climb under barbed wire and getting all cut up?! For a family fun game?

Mildly entertaining, decent amount of energy at first. But like all of these type of games - they only give you enough energy to get hooked. Then, predictably, the energy demands increase so that the game becomes not fun. Few games like this work well. Adventure Bay is similar and at least gives you enough of a free ride until level 50 or so. Family Island is also good, with some constraints on energy eventually. But if you do make a purchase from them, the “gifts” tend to be generous. Seek out these others if you like this type of app game.
