Confusing and not enough resources
By far the most confusing game, and you get stuck without resources for so long that it’s not entertaining. Only playing for the TJ gift card.

Every update is worse than the previous. It’s become very busy. Too many resources needed and unnecessary work.

I love this K-pop group. I stan the dad. Family island was such a great reference to inside out. That movie made me cry, especially anxiety. Anyway, I hate this game. I only care about uncle dunki and the dad. They make my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. The daughter is baby Stacy. The brother is Tim tempoltin. And the mom is a dancing diva.

You ask me to complete an offer by playing this game to level 11. I do so. You don’t deliver on your promise in the offer. I ask for help from your AI bot, and it’s not useful. You tell me to re-download the game again and play to level 11 again. I can’t delete data, I can’t add profiles, I can’t start over. So, you made a promise with an offer and then you won’t deliver on that offer when I complete all the requirements. You are LIARS!

This update totally screwed up my game. It stalls out when loading evert time and will lock up during a game for no reason. I’m so disappointed. It was running great before the update. 😡
Disappointed
I have been playing this game forever. I have spent hundreds of dollars. I love this game. BUT the new update is terrible. The way it looks is absolutely TERRIBLE. They need to go back to the way it used to look or I will be looking for a new game. Very disappointing.
Tries to scam people
The makers of Family Island are participating in a scam in partnership with the makers of the game Toon Blast. An offer is made from within the Toon Blast app that directs to www.toonblast.shop where it claims if you download Family Island and get to level 11 you will get a substantial reward of prizes for Toon Blast. When you accomplish that, no prize is given, the website tells you to donate same thing over and over.
I have a mortgage to pay
Used to love this game. Now it is just ridiculous the amount of money you need to spend to do anything. 120k energy to spend to complete one daily task? Outrageous.
In response to their response, waiting 15 hours for 300 energy to refill doesn’t make much of a dent when one requirement for the daily task is to spend 100k energy. Please do inform me of a realistic way to actually play your game and achieve something.

This is scam
Don’t install this application because you want to get a sweet reward for another application, Fishdom. I was scammed by downloading and completing to level 11 as they stated but the reward never came. It is spinning like nonstop to ask you to download and complete level 11 on the app. Chat is unless AI to keep asking to click the link to download and complete level 11. DO NOT INSTALL and do not waste your time for $99 worth of Fishdom reward! It is a scam!!

Use to be better
Game used to be better now you can’t farm enough to upgrade with out buying. If you want to achieve goals you can’t do it without buying energy it has become to costly and I use to love the island adventures and you could afford to explore now it seems it has become mostly about getting you to buy things.
Want to give zero stars
Wasted so much time on this for a reward offer on another game. Spoiler: no reward at the end. Support is a bot, which simply repeats to complete the offer. And I find the game frustrating and stupid. Don’t waste time on this garbage. What a joke.

This game offers free rewards in other games to get you to play it that don’t exist. It’s also not fun to play which is probably why they need to scam you into playing it.

Beware of this game sending out fake links that scam people to play the game for rewards from different popular games. This game should be immediately removed from the App Store due to fraudulent activity. I would be very careful with downloading the game. It is bloated with in game links that could compromise your personal information. This is your warning. Do not download!!!
A cynical slog
Even by freemium standards, this game is a shameless cash grab. The requirements ramp up drastically as the game progresses. It requires endless grinding and/or $ just to be presented with the chore of clicking and dragging on more little icons. I’ve played a bunch of these freemium games up to certain levels for money and this was by far the worst of them.

The app crash every 2 seconds …. I even can not open the game((( not happy about it…

I joined to get bonuses on another game. But it won’t give me the bonus now. Damn. I kinda thought that would happen. Oh well.
Scam Game
I enjoyed it, but once I started buying a few packs of energy (3 in total), they increase the cost of energy for different islands to make you dependent on buying more. At one point, I had saved around 20k energy and in one island alone, it left me with about 2K (20K energy would last me up to 6 islands before!!) Finally deleted the game once I saw that my energy started dropped without even using it! So they decrease your energy if you don’t buy more, hoping you won’t notice! What a scam.
Pay to play
This is definitely a pay to play game and not worth it. It is difficult to figure out how to even play it and almost everything I click on costs money. Don’t waste your time.

The game exists. However there are multiple levels of money making scams embedded throughout the game (I do not mean ads). Customer service doesn’t help unless you have screenshots of receipts from in app purchases. Ads route to phishing websites. I made it a couple levels and quit
Worse than i remembered
Impossible to play much without spending money. I experimented and even when spending ALOT it is not possible to finish tasks. They got way too greedy!
No cohesive flow
Only played as an offer for a bonus in another game. This game had no cohesive progression, you jump back and forth to complete quest to complete quest, no energy, complete another quest for rewards! The screen was too cluttered and disorganized for my OCD, maybe great for those with ADD

Just like others have said, this is a reward scam. They posted on other apps (Toon Blast) to draw you here and download their game. Very unethical. Wasted days getting to level 11 and never receiving the promised gift. Their AI help bot is useless and just directs you to delete the app and start over. Yeah right!

Game is getting worse and worse
Where did all the 100% axes go? Even the 50% axes are less frequent now while the game requires insane energy and resources to complete anything! Bring back the axes. Game is getting really frustrating. Don’t care for your new make 3 items, get 1 free because it’s still a ripoff with the amount of energy and resources it requires. You’re really pissing off your base for this game.

Liked the game til recently
Been playing the game off and on for a few years. I enjoyed it but since a few days ago the game crashes when loading. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it loaded once then crashed and now crashes when loading again.
Login blocked
They developers issued a update that blocked users from logging into the game because the users refused to spend real money to advance in the game. I am one of these users. After the recent game update, I can no longer play the game. Every time I try to login to play this game. The game closes immediately preventing me from accessing my game and playing my game. This is further proof that you should never spend any amount of money on these games, because if you don’t keep spending YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON GAMES LIKE THIS GAME. They will eventually block your game so that you can no longer access the game and play the game. They are petty, incompetent & ignorant racist.
False advertising
I downloaded the game because I was told that I would be given coins on a different game. They use false advertising.
Broken offer
I got an offer that if I made it to rebel 11 I would get a champions bundle on another game I played. I got there and it just kept spinning and I went to the message chat area and it kept sending me the same link that doesn’t work and then it asked me to just do another one which it took me hours to get to a level 11 I don’t want to waste any more of my time. So I’m really frustrated that I can’t get a customer service and get help on this cause I pretty much wasted a chunk of my day and I could’ve said I had fun doing it getting to know a new game, especially if I was gonna get that champions bundle cause I know how much that’s worth. But this has been a very frustrating experience.

Scammed into playing
There was a link in a game I enjoy playing to earn points and lives by getting to level 11 on this game. I don’t know if this game did the false advertisement, but I downloaded and it was not a real offer. I’ve reported that website that led me to this game.
Once okay but only crashes at launch
Once okay but only crashes at launch since latest iPad and game updates. Before updates all ads cause game to have to reload to exit game instead of being able to exit ads and then prizes are not rewarded. Now, game brings sadness. I fan no longer enjoy it.

100% cash grab of a game
It’s made impossible to do much. They shove ads in your face as soon as you log in you get at least 3 pops up buy gems by this buy that. If you do buy something it will barely advance you. If you are trying to play to get money from another app it’s almost impossible to meet the deadline. Could be fun if it wasn’t made to be addictive enough for you to spend money.

Bugging out
Every time i come back to play this game, something ALWAYS goes wrong. I complete an event and it fails to give me my rewards. It bugs out and the energy that i spent is wasted on stuff that isn’t given to me. I waste energy on material to craft special items and CRAFT the special item but it just bugs out every time making me waste literally my time and energy. this game has its ups and downs but i hate how they dont do anytging and compensate only a bit if energy from the 10000 energy i spend and dont get back. I have a love-hate relationship with this game. time to take another 6 month break from this game.
