Way over engineered
This app used to be great. Fast, easy - done. Now it’s so over engineered it’s not even funny. Scan something and it’s a total pain to fix it. I’m just looking for another app now. I don’t want to spend 10 minutes trying to log. You figured out what worked. Whose feedback said - please make this more complicated? I want in and out. If you want to boil the ocean and spend longer inputting and fixing the inputs than it took to eat, this is your app. Used to be terrific.
Fix your age thing
Terrible app tried to make an account guess what says I have to be 18 or older but when in the App Store it says 13+ don’t even bother getting it if under 18

The subscription won’t show in your Apple subscriptions when using Apple Pay. Easy to miss cancelling the subscription. And the app is not worth $44 a year, much better options. Try Zero, more expensive but worth it.

At first it had me good n then it didn’t let me use the app it kept making me spin the stupid wheel to pay. When I tried exiting out it kept showing the same thing over and over again. What’s the whole point of having the “free” option when I can’t even click on it?? zero stars. Unacceptable.

Keeps charging my card
I have tried multiple times to try and stop the charges to my card. I tired to log into the app and it says that my account is not found but they keep trying to charge me and I don’t know how to fix it!!!
Fraud. Avoid at all costs
Even if you delete the app and clear out your subscription list, they will still charge you. They found a way to bypass iOS’s subscription management feature.

This app is frustratingly poor at changing phones. My new phone has no option to login to my old data. Hopefully this review gets me the help or update I need. While I like the tracking of intermittent fasting I can’t seem to keep using this
Overwhelming Ads
Far too many ads and offers to upgrade. I let my subscription lapse so was downgraded to the basic version, which I had to uninstall! It’s unbearable to use without paying for it.

Don’t list as free if you have to pay for literally everything. Waste of time to answer multiple questions just to find out you have to pay
I Truly Hate What Fastic Has Become
It used to be a simple UI that simply worked. They didn’t try to do too much and it was more than enough. This app with its calorie counter actually helped me lose significant weight from 2021 to about early 2023.
The updates almost killed it, but the addition of so many useless ads and a nearly unusable interface did it. You people let corporate “decision makers” kill what was and should’ve still been the absolute best fasting app there is. Now I use Lose It and Fasty. Not perfect but 100 times better than Fastic

Somehow this app linked to an account on one of our phones and getting it figured out to stop being charged monthly is a nightmare don’t even look at this app
Won’t even let me cancel my trial
I have tried to cancel my free trial many many times and it will say successfully canceled but then it will not actually cancel my trial. Keep trying to charge my card but I’ve tried to cancel the trial I guess it has turned into a subscription fully since the app won’t let me cancel the trial. I do not know what to do.
Can’t seem to just use basic?

Dangerous AI App
I downloaded this app because an influencer that I respected recommended it but immediately regretted it. All it is, is AI generated information about fasting and its benefits (which can be good when done correctly). At first glance it seems harmless and only recommends the usual 8/12/14/16 hour intervals but once I looked further, it had recommendations that individuals fast for DAYS. Of course it has the BS “don’t do this without professional supervision” disclaimer but people these days do not follow that advice if an app disguised as a health tool suggests something. PLEASE do not suggest this app to anyone with an eating disorder or who does not have extensive knowledge on how to use this tactic safely. If I could give it zero stars I would. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE.
Awful
Worst customer service. Horrible ap. Tracking food on it is a joke as multiple options for the food you’re trying to enter is all incorrect. Asked for a refund as they stated on their website that if you are not satisfied, you can get a full refund. They told me no. I purchased a year, used it for less than one month, and asked them if I could pay for the month and be reimbursed the year and they keep sending me the same automatic message. DO NOT PURCHASE OR USE, there are better ones out there.

I downloaded this app and it made me sign up for the free 3 day trial for Fastic plus, which I immediately unsubscribed to because I did not need it. Come to find out it didn’t even matter because apparently cancelling the free trial in the app does not cancel it in the App Store and I was billed $32 which I was not aware would be happening because, you know, I cancelled the FREE TRIAL.
Bug
There's a bug with the fasting start reminder and fasting end reminder. i am trying to turn them on but it keeps turning them off rendering the app useless. i need notifications !!!

It could be better
When I upgraded my phone, the app wouldn’t recognize me and I had to start over. I get a random “you’ve completed your first fast” about once a month. Every frosty is my first frosty. Deleted alerts keep reappearing. Kinda lame.

this app is annoying
they make you answer a ton of questions and fill in specific data. I assumed at the end of it they would recommend a premium subscription or something which of course they did, but while i was planning to select the basic one, the ONLY option they give you a a three day free trial of the premium one, there’s no option to just initially go with the basic one. the problem is when you select this free trial, they make you enter your payment info first, which i’m not comfortable with as i was never planning on getting a paid membership so they don’t need my info. ridiculous money grab as usual. waste of time

I’m at that age where taking care of my health is a priority, so I decided to give Fastic a try during their free trial period. Credit where it’s due-the interface is clean and well-designed. Navigation is straightforward, and the fasting tracking features work as intended.
However, there are some serious concerns that I can’t overlook. They attempted to charge me $39 while I was still IN my trial period. Not at the end-during. That raised immediate red flags. What’s worse? Even after I canceled my subscription, they continue attempting to charge my card daily. That’s not just poor business practice, that’s disrespectful to your customers.
Now, for $39, you’d expect premium features across the board. But there’s no Apple Watch app-something that’s standard with most fasting trackers these days. Every time I need to check my timer, I have to pull out my phone. At this stage in life, I appreciate efficiency and convenience, and this ain’t it.
The core app has potential, and the interface is genuinely nice. But between the questionable billing tactics and missing essential features, I can’t in good conscience recommend this to anyone. There are better options out there that respect your time, your money, and your trust.

Great for fasting, Find a different app for macros
Since recent ramp up of ai use in this app, the macro information has become inaccurate. The app now suggests "fasting fluids" that are actually calorie dense and would break your fast. Some teas are listed has having lots of protein and carbs, while some shakes list less than a gram of each macro. Looking at the ingredients, i KNOW the peanut butter, etc. that went in have macros. I scanned my fairlife milk, and it came up with no macro content.
The fasting tracking still works. Just can't trust it with macros anymore. I won't be renewing my subscription.
