I needed to send a single..my 1 and ONLY Fax ever in my 40+ years of life…I was already frustrated so I thought..screw it, I’ll just pay the $8.99 trial offer then cancel and be done..2 mins later an alert for my debit card pops up and it says denied charge for $179.75 ??????? I chose the cheapest plan and I guess they choose not the customer? Since it was denied Apple locked my account and it’ll stay that way til I allow the charge of $179.75 for 2 single pieces of paper…after researching I find out that this is NOTHING new to these crooks because why else would they have a NO refund policy? I guess they tend to ignore complaints for refunds along with anything else that could result in having to pull out your $$ that they lined there pockets with and giving any of it back… I will be getting my $ back…I promise and everyone else be careful and go elsewhere for your fax needs…because choosing the cheapest box for $8.99 when in fact it charges $179.75 then they’ll shrug it off by using the’ol didn’t you read the microscopic fine print that said we can charge ANYthing we please…this is the type of developer that is giving the App Store a bad reputation and it’s unacceptable.

Nothing is Free These Days
I might send two or three faxes of a couple of pages per year. Well this is the second fax program that professed they offered a free fax option. Well after I spent time signing up and preparing my document for fax transmission - guess what! I looked all over the app information and COULD NOT FIND ANY WAY I COULD SEND MY FAX WITHOUT A FEE. Liar - liar - pants on fire!

I downloaded this app because I had one important fax to send. I tried multiple times and it never worked. I contacted the company for a refund the very next day, and they refused. Instead, they sent a link on problem solving issues. They didn’t check into this themselves. I would not recommend .
AUTO SUBSCRIBES YOU!!!
The app seemed fine and I was able to fax a pdf over to where I needed to get it to but I noticed that the free 7 day trial that they provide, given you input your phone number, somehow auto subscribed me to their plan post trial expiration. Mind you, the option to pay that normally pops up when you subscribe to a plan with a trial on your iPhone never showed. I only input my phone number and then input the verification code I received. I just went to look at my subscriptions to make sure I wasn’t missing anything and lo and behold, it said that I would be charged $8.99 once the 7 day trial ended. The way it’s advertised is “Verify your number to get free fax pages - you’ll get 10 free fax pages to get started.” Not subscribe to this plan to start free trial. Very misleading and sincerely concerning that they somehow bypassed the permission to purchase on my phone.
Installed into foreign language version!!
I wanted to try this app but after hitting GET and then OPEN, the 2 options on the interface below the “Fax.Plus” banner were in a foreign language!! I almost deleted the app, but decided to check to see if there was a language setting for this app in my Settings, and there was… it was set to English!! App removed.
Disappointing and Untrustworthy
I have been going back and forth with one of your support team members and was provided different types of information and as soon as I provided screenshots of my options and what the AI bot in your app told me could happen (they can assign the number since it was a payment/assignment issue on their end, or if within 24 hrs of purchase can provide refund) she stopped responding. So I told them I would either like the number that I paid for (Akron, OH 330) applied to my account or a refund, One minute she tells me someone already purchased the number that I was purchasing during payment and I can change it for free, then she tells me I have to pay to change it, then she tells me the number that I wanted was on backorder and you guys provided me the closest number to my area andI’m going to have to pay to change it ( which was a lie because 1. The number provided wasn’t even in my state and 2. anytime I went in to look at changing the number to a 330 number there were many options to choose from. I just had to pay for it.. again!) then in a separate email it just so happened to be the same support person and she said she could fix it if I provided proof of my account and payment so I sent screenshots, guess what! I didn’t get a response, so then I sent the same screenshots but in pdf format to make sure they got them and guess what still no response, so 3 hours after purchasing and the worst support experience ever, you guessed it! I cancelled. I have also submitted a refund request through Apple support bc if you can’t even handle something this simple and you are deceiving consumers you don’t deserve my money every month. Very disappointing and misleading.

Says you get 10 free pages but won’t send a single fax without money added. Says I have 10 free pages but fails because of insufficient credit.
Beware, gives different fax#
I chose a local fax# when I subscribed, I have screenshots as proof showing that fax# as “Your number”. After I paid they gave me a different fax# for a different state. I sent the screenshot proof to customer service, I was told you don’t get to choose the fax# on sign up, even though it shows your number as the one you chose, and I have to pay the extra $10 fee to change the number. So beware, you have to pay more after subscribing if you want to choose your fax#.
Issue at the very beginning
Have an issue. Downloaded the app, created account, and logged in. At that point there is an advertisement screen “send faxes globally” which i can not get pst… can not press continue at the bottom of screen(nothing happens when i do) and there is no X. Iphone 12 is what i have.
HORRIBLE
Shame on your company. You guys scam customers into thinking they are getting free trials and you charged me $89.99 upfront?! I now have to file a claim with my bank because Apple support keeps denying my refund request, even though they told me I would be refunded.

Well, this app is not sending faxes, they keep failing, but yet my credits are dwindling. Conveniently there is no customer service to reach. Well, you can click a button and send a message, but you don’t know where it’s sending or if and when you’ll get a response.

This was promoted as a free option on Gemini up to 10 pages. I tried it out as a test and it was infuriating.

I’ve used this app for years. Every time it’s been a while. I will log back in and my credit will all be gone, and there is no history of any faxes I have sent before. For this reason, I give it a one star.

This app and company are terrible. It’s a scam to get you to pay multiple times. They lock you out of your paid account then tell you that you are on a free account and they can’t find your paid account. Then neither them or Apple will refund you. I have never had a company “lose” my account before like this, it’s actually not possible if the company is legitimate and competent which this one obviously is not. Don’t trust it, they will scam you the same way they did to me!

Tells you send but doesn’t show sent. Most tries say not sent. If you like being charged for faxes that don’t get sent and can’t confirm the ones that do. Then this is your app

Frustrating
I had to pay for three separate subscriptions before I could get my fax to go through. The first one didn’t show up on my fax.plus app even though my credit card was charged and customer service couldn’t help me. The second one kept failing but I didn’t realize that every time it even attempted that it subtracted from the amount of pages I had left. It was a very frustrating experience.

Deceptive scam
If you do business fax with this company they don’t allow you to port your number. In the time since I’ve used them the price has gone from $250 a year to $1600 a year. Now I have to reprint all my marketing because I can’t keep my fax number. Just the worst company of all time.
Waste of money
This fax does not work. It was a total waste of money. I ended up having to use my email because the fast will neither send or receive. Total waste of $9 and I will love my refund.

So far I have spent 30 minutes trying to find the Scan.Fax feature. I need to scan my document to send it. Should I just take a picture of it and then upload it?
DID NOT WORK
Need to send one fax. just one fax. in a bind - printer down. Will not EVER consider this app in future because it failed me when I needed to send just one fax - time sensitive. PLUS some random aloha place needed to access my computer info - they got my phone # out of me and now have all my emails and who knows what else they left on my computer - going to clear cache/cookies/everything and re-start with security update to wipe clean fax.plus from everything.
Waste of time and money
I tried sending a fax four times over a four hour period. Each time the fax timed out (ten minute period) yet I was still charged for the time I used the service. Was unable to get immediate technical help and was told I couldn’t get a refund. Used another app and was able to send the fax immediately. Do not use if you have an urgent matter.

Used to Be a Good App
I’ve had this app for years. Loved it. Now? No thank you. The changes made to the app resulted in excess/duplicate charges, no one helps you with that, due to unclear, vague explanation of “the rules” on their app. With so many others out there, this one should be a hard pass.

I canceled this app, was still charged, and in response to being asked to correct the charge, was told “Under our refund policy, refunds for monthly subscription charges are unavailable. For full details, please see What is the Fax.Plus refund policy?” Buyer beware.
Don’t waste your money
They cannot even complete a fax that’s only 2 pages long. And every failed attempt or even if the if line is busy and it’s not sent at all it is counted against the number of pages you can send/recieve. This is a fricken scam. Look somewhere else to send faxes cause this ain’t it

Don’t waste your money. I paid for a month plus credits and nothing I’ve tried to send on the app or through the website has gone through. Everything fails. Customer service is just a contact email pop up no chat or anything. No help.

Be very careful with choosing a monthly subscription because they will charge you the full price for the whole year when you’re thinking you’re paying monthly

Had been using the fax services for several months on the upgraded plan, suddenly all my data was gone and I had been logged out, but keep getting billed. I have emailed customer ‘no’ service multiple times with no response!
Deceptive business practices and zero accountability
I upgraded my FaxPlus plan after being prompted by their system when I hit the 10-page trial limit. I upgraded in good faith, expecting to be able to send more pages as stated on their site (up to 60 per fax for the plan I chose).
After upgrading, I was still unable to send more than 10 pages. I contacted support immediately and canceled the order on the same day. Despite never sending a fax and never using the service, they refused a refund, citing a “no refunds after fax number is assigned” policy.
The catch? Their system automatically assigns a fax number without user input, which immediately voids their 24-hour refund policy. That means no one actually has a chance to qualify for a refund, even if they cancel within minutes of making the purchase. It’s a loophole designed to make the refund policy useless.
There’s no transparency, no opportunity to decline the number assignment, and no refund even if you don’t use the service at all. It’s an unethical practice that borders on predatory. I had to go pay another provider just to get my fax sent that same day.
It’s not about the amount. It’s about the principle. If a company makes it this hard to get a refund for a service you never used, you should think twice before trusting them with anything.

i needed this to renew some fns, i work, everyone else closes when i get off, so i thought this would be a good idea, it sends just one fax out of 12, then tells me i sent 18 somehow, i put myself on a subscription and basically got robbed, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THIS IS THEFT
