DO NOT, under any circumstances, give this app your credit card information. I downloaded this just to schedule a simple return. The app FORCED me to provide my credit card details before I could even see a price. When I tried to get a quote, they refused to show me what the pickup would actually cost-they expected me to blindly authorize a charge without knowing the amount.When I immediately tried to back out and delete my card and account, the nightmare began. They will NOT let you delete your payment info or close your account through the app. I had to call and endure a ridiculous "inquisition" into my personal details and family history. After failing their arbitrary "security" test, they are now refusing to remove my financial data and forcing me to go through a massive escalation process just to get my own card off their system.FedEx is literally holding my credit card hostage. This isn't a shipping company; it’s a data-mining trap designed to lock you into their ecosystem and prevent you from leaving. Do everything in your power to stay away from this company. Use UPS, use the Post Office, use literally anyone else. Do not give FedEx a single penny-you will regret it the second you try to leave.

Placing a vacation hold only applied to 1 of 4 packages despite a notice it would apply to all packages.
For a massive company like FedEx, their app should be far better than this trash.

fedex sucks
every time i make a purchase online and see fedex is delivering my package all i can think to myself is oh god and prepare for multiple delays, torn up boxes, and worry my package will be stolen. every time a package goes through the grove city facility in ohio it gets delayed at least a day, sometimes 2 or 3 days. usually the company sending out your package drags their feet, but when they don’t don’t fret fedex will surely drag their feet. i’ve never with another shipping company been told a package will be delivered then it gets delayed multiple days with no apparent reasoning. i rather be told a package will take a week and have it get delivered sooner then get told a day and have to wait 4. it’s not very hard to ship packages and this company with over 50 years on its belt has one of the worst reputations of all. i rather have dhl deliver my packages because they’re at least accurate with the estimated delivery date.

Vacation Hold Is Completely Useles
Tracking works, but that’s about it.
The Vacation Hold feature is basically useless.
I’m traveling and needed to hold my package, but the app either doesn’t recognize my address or just fails without any clear error. No confirmation, no feedback - nothing.
How is such a basic feature this broken?

USELESS FOR TRACKING
compared to other similar services… think UPS… tracking the progress of a shipment you expect to receive here is USELESS. It goes from received your package and then days later the next update is delivered. I celebrate when it’s to the right address. Latest shipment I received from across the country went 4 DAYS WITH NO UPDATES !
What are we doing?
Im required to have the app to track??? and when i go to track I cant because i need to verify my identity??? and even if i wanted to i cant because its sending a security code to the wrong mobile number??? i JUST downloaded this, how does it have an unrelated number? Told me it’d arrive yesterday, not a knock. I cant change any of my settings or account information in the app either. another useless waste of humanity.
Push just errors
Won’t stop bugging the user about setting notifications but then try Setting push notifications just gives an error. Such a basic thing to be broken.

Text alerts broken
App is lying about delivery dates. I tried to sign up for text alerts for delivery notification & changes in status… it errors out & won’t log my request for alerts.

other reviews are correct that it does not work with Apple passwords. Secondly, it did send me a verification code, but I needed it again because the password wouldn’t show so I couldn’t remember which password I made up and it refused to send me another verification. I asked 10 times. I only verified the first one which expires in 10 minutes. It just doesn’t work.

Lied to me four times about when it was supposed to arrive then told me that they didn’t lie worst service yed

Garbage app, doesn’t even show tracking information, FedEx tracking in general is garbage because it doesn’t give you any detail such as package location or travel history anymore. And the company is garbage for providing you almost no tracking information and directing you to an app to “see more detailed tracking information” just for you to give it all you personal info and it to still not tell you anything. What happened to you FedEx?

I have package from Japan I bought it in an action and i choose to shipped by FedEx I feel more safety than other carriers but when it came to Memphis that’s where they asking a lot of paper works for something is not too expensive item id been requesting since April 17 to return to the sender until now I don’t get any progress they return or at least send me the tracking I hope they don’t steal it
Stop asking to enable notifications
Annoying app asks to enable notifications every time you check a tracking number. Stop harassing people for spam notifications.
Inaccurate times
Pointless app… they tell you a time it’s going to arrive on the app and they arrive either later or earlier then what the time is .. customer. Support is also worthless. You probably have better luck reaching IRS..
FedEx sucks
The app works fine. Just noting FedEx delivery tracking info is absolute garbage. I’d actually prefer no tracking if they can’t be reliable with their estimated delivery. Makes the roof of my mouth itch.
WORTHLESS!
Nothing on this app works! Trying to add a delivery address, because apparently FedEx drivers are brainless drones. I have to have an activation code, and every time I try to get the code, there is an error in creating it. And there’s been an error all 100+ times I tried! And if you try to contact app support, it’s a dead link! It’s impossible to contact FedEx, their app doesn’t work, how are we supposed to deal with these people?

This app is terrible. There is a shipment that was cancelled but still shows in my feed at the top and I can’t get rid of it. And on the Home Screen you only get 2, so i can’t see the actual package I’m waiting for. All this app needs to do well is TRACK PACKAGES and be easy to add, remove, archive, shipments and it can’t do that.

App works ok, slow most of the time. However the service in the Atlanta area is horrible. They regularly mark a delivery as attempt or wrong address when we are home. I’ve seen the truck drive by. It’s specially bad for signature on delivery packages.
Disabling paste in password fields
The second field for reset password doesn’t accept paste or work with a password manager. Absurd.

After having FedEx show up 2 hours past their own declared delivery window, the driver left a note stating the delivery required a signature.
That was yesterday. No delivery attempt was made today.

Terrible service
Terrible service in my case today I waited all day for the package when as it was about to arrive the delivery man arrived and left without leaving my package according to putting the wrong address now I have to wait 2 more days for my package thank you

I had all lush notifications for the first attempt at delivery and still didn’t get a text or call saying it was outside and on the second day I changed it from push to call and text and still nothing what’s the point of it if you still won’t get notified

If it wasn’t for someone coming to visit she couldn’t get to them . This has just started used to always put on the porch just a few more feet away. There must be a new lazy driver. Fedx you need to do better. Who likes getting wet stuff delivered

Worst app on my phone
It’s amazing how consistently terrible this app has been for so many years. It’s excruciatingly slow, with each page load taking 5-10 seconds. And half of all attempts to do anything result in an error (after the wait, of course) so you have to try again. And when you tap a notification from the app, it takes ages to reload whatever you were looking at before, then blanks the screen and then starts loading whatever the notification was for. The app is barely functional, and a child could make a better one.

My app is tuck showing a package I last had delivered several months ago, but wouldn’t track a new one this week. Logged into the website and the tracking worked.
Outsourced-level bugs
Careful which path you take to submit a vacation hold. Some will crash the app, others will make you select a wrong date first (because it’s not first in the list) then it lets you change it to the correct date. Of course I was forced to use the app because the web site doesn’t work at all.
Worthless signatures
Why is this even a thing? You don’t ID check, you don’t care who signs it. Why do I have to sign for a 5 dollar box of brownies. No one asked for it. Your option to bypass this. Is to print paper and sign it. Are you kidding me? It’s 2026. This should be no signature unless the customer asks. I will wait longer to use usps before I will even select or use FedEx again. Calling customer service is a nightmare.

FedEx, do better! I can’t copy the tracking number, I can’t chat within the app, I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, I can’t speak to someone. Your app sucks!
Shipment
If you are having any problems with your package and if fed ex isn’t willing to really help with lease call the authorities non emergency number and they will help as far as getting fedex to understand the seriousness of the situation and hopefully that can help unfortunately the app doesn’t make the service they have any better and beyond pointless outside of doing business with FedEx.

Horrible tracking I signed up to get messages when my package is here I was waiting for something. I did get the message but saying they already tried delivering it. and I didn’t hear anything not a knock a doorbell not a message which is what I signed up for and I am not happy

I’ve been on the phone with FedEx for over an hour trying to deal with this no tracking number no help AI automated phone system doesn’t understand what you’re saying. Your system is not working very well maybe for you but not the customers now I wanna know what does your company want me to call for if you can’t help me don’t notify people to call you if you’re not gonna handle the customer service problem I’ve been dealing with this for over an hour and all it has done is escalated me to be very mad and hate FedEx. I will. I will walk my package to wherever I’m sending it. I will not. Use FedEx for a delivery ever. It’s the most hideous company for delivering there ever was. If you know, what’s good for you, call the United States Postal Service or UPS. Stay away from FedEx.

Probably the worst sign up experience on the internet. Multiple timeouts during the signup process online. Wants a code on the final step of process but doesn’t send or times out. Signing up on the app is the same story. Password had all green checks and then it told me I needed a potion and some magic dust instead of a special character. But then it said I needed a special character. WTH people. I just want to upload my 5106 for crying out loud.
