It also sometimes says “Floodlight is disconnected.” No one is doing anything to it and WI-FI is fine! Ridiculous!!! I have my ghetto neighbors trash compiling on my driveway and side yard and I can’t even see how it got there. Cannot catch anything!!!
SmartPlugs are really stupid. Wifi is strong in the house and within the region, 2-5 away, or right next to the router, and doesn’t even work!!! Terrible creation! Need to fire your engineers!!
The LED strip lights: for months it would just stay on because it would not connect to WIFI. I’ve reset it over and over and over again. It would be fine after resetting for few hours and then goes back to loss of connection again. How can I be able to watch YouTube and my subscriptions on my smart TV without a problem, but all of these gadgets from FEIT are an issue??? 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
Fix your apps and everything that needs to be fix. Build better products! I’ve been having these issues for 4 years now. Will never buy another FEIT product again and I will tell everyone how terrible your products are!

Products always unpaid
I unfortunately bought multiple Feit products from Amazon before realizing how TERRIBLE they are. The products usually pair and work fine, but every few months they unpair and need to be re-paired. It’s so annoying seeing the light bulbs flash on and on while waiting to re-pair. And sometimes, the products never re-pair and I have to wait a day or two after trying multiple times. I wasted so much money trying to get “smart” lightbulbs throughout my house.

Utterly amazing
It’s truly amazing how terribly everything of yours works. The app, the bulb, the software in the app, the software in the bulb. Like truly everything apart of this package completely sucks. Shame you bot reviews so no one can see just how garbage you clowns really are.
I love the lights but…
I have had these lights for about a year and I love them but recently my lights unsynced and went back to original. I opened my app to restore my settings except my devices are connected but no response. I tried to sync them again, and the same thing they connected but no response and all of the color options will not allow to be clicked on to change. Please fix.
Terrible
Constantly saying refer to the instructions even when the instructions don’t mention it. The app runs like garbage and the controls often dont work.

I’ve been using this lighting for years now using the previous app which connects to the Feit cloud mode and changing the color through the phone app,but now it’s just not working. I have followed all the instructions dozens of times in which I’ve never had any success.
Constant connectivity problem
When you try to turn your lights on with a switch you can almost always bank on having your lights strobe until you pull out your phone and wait for them to sync by bluetooth… just buy a normal lightbulb.
Govee
Wouldn’t buy these. Everytime my kid cuts the light off with the switch they immediately forget their identity and refuse to turn on until you dogs get them the right way and call them the right name then you have to completely reprogram. Just pay the extra for the more thorough govee. We will both thank you later
Getting spammed with ads
The makers of the app that controls the security cameras - that do not require cloud storage because it saves to a micro SD card - are now sending me notifications advertising cloud storage. Popup ads on my phone and banner ads plus full screen ads that have to be clicked out of (good luck finding that X to close it!). Garbage company. Many regrets for investing in a security system that spams me after an app update.

Super glitchy
This app is super glitchy, and they very rarely update it. for some odd reason, I can’t ever get my lights to pair up in a group. When I first got this lighting system with the app. The group section would work perfect, but then after about a month, it started glitching out and now I can’t ever get to work and it’s so frustrating! I’m about ready to throw these things in the garbage can!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I have to reset these bulbs constantly. If you flip on the switch too fast, they go into reset mode and blink forever until you get your phone out and open the app. Oh… but wait, you e been logged out and they force registration on you, and your last saved password does not work, so you need to reset passwords constantly with this garbage interface. Have a rental you’re using them in? Insanity. The bulbs are better off smashed on the ground and never used again for your mental health.

Bad in form and function
The schedule feature is busted. Had mine for years and have never been able to modify an existing schedule! Also it stopped recognizing daylight savings time so my light turns on an hour later in the summer. It disconnects when the app isn’t running so you have to wait for it to reconnect every single time! Beyond functionality, the UI is a joke. Who thought it was a good idea to design an all white app for a light controller?! Turning the lights off? Ok, prepare to be blinded by the all white app in what’s about to be a dark room

Lightbulbs
If you plan on buying the lightbulbs, also plan on the app randomly disconnecting from your lightbulbs and don’t want to ever reconnect. The worst company of lightbulbs I have ever dealt with and the connectivity of their app is even worse off. The app is pathetic and so is the company, take your money elsewhere, you can probably get better lightbulbs at the dollar store.
Buggy app, light software
Schedules wont run, rhythm wont stick to the correct color temp, and it cant even connect to a network. When you click the select network it takes you to your app list. No idea how I’m having such a different experience compared to the positive reviews.

Unable Add lights
I have been using Feit Smart lights ever since it was released. I didn’t have any issues last month. Recent app changes causing issue to Add lights. Last week “color lights” option was there while manually adding lights. Now I don’t see it anymore. I couldn’t add smart bulbs anymore using lighting device and lighting device v2 options.

I’ve had this app for my light bulbs for a couple months and every week these light bulbs disconnect 3 times it’s so frustrating , wouldn’t recommend, they just disconnect from existing

Scheduling?!?
Why did you take away scheduling? I had all of my Feit lights in groups and had schedules set up for each group of lights. A recent update seems to have completely removed my ability to control these schedules.

I purchased my first camera two years ago. I’ve had a lot of problems almost every time I open the app it is unable to establish a connection to the encrypted device, or it will say unable to establish a connection to the camera. It has glitched out and not recorded critical information on my property more than a few times now. I thought it was maybe a fluke faulty camera so I bought one more this time a pan tilt zoom indoor and placed it in my climate controlled garage. I have the same issues, unable to establish connection playback errors, the app crashes when searching through recorded events if you skip ahead more than 2 times in a video if freezes and app shuts down. It stops recording randomly during motion events. I do not recommend this. My garage was broken into and the footage recorded instead of motion tracking like it was supposed to was just the camera just zoomed into the ceiling and I could only listen to people stealing all my stuff and not see them or provide anything of value for video to the police because both of the cameras failed when they were both aimed in the right spot nothing but let down. My cameras were calibrated properly and when sound detection alerted me I instantly opened app like 7 times before it worked and the view my camera showed was all white from my ceiling but I could hear the thieves. About 3 hours prior to break in the camera got a mind of its own and tiled straight up. Very very mad I am and regret buying them. False peace of mind
Fails to pair, fails to update. Interface is no longer for an adult
New bulbs have simple less controllable GUI. Firmware does not update with or without auto update. Bulbs will not pair over wi-fi. For a short time app always requested bluetooth to be on to function at all. I have four bulbs from 2023. They have an older much better interface. They are still okay. New bulbs bought this past month are a big disappointment. No option to select your GUI. No firmware updating and an interface that looks as if it’s for a child’s colorforms toy leave me unimpressed and disappointed. I spent over an hour with a very good rep. at Feit but to avail. Bulb turned out not to be defective. Just poorly designed. No more Feit.

Stops working after a time, can’t change color or dim usually without sporadic behavior. Reporting the issue in app is useless.

Worst app with terrible updates
Every time Feit updates the app it drops all the devices. Their updates are absolutely worthless - drops passwords, devices, and generally makes you start all over in setting things up. I am going back to mechanical timers since they can’t get their act together with the app based devices.
Maddening
Almost every other time i opened this app to control my lights i had to reset/rescan for device, and my neighbors diffuser kept coming up…just maddening. I don’t understand why i can’t just set this up ONCE and use it like EVERY OTHER smart device i have…this NEVER works like it’s supposed to.
No-Go
I shouldn’t have to write custom firmware to your devices to stop them from disconnecting or resetting completely. From lights to sensors and switches… you name it. The app is also junk. Whose bright idea was it to hide devices that have been reset? Now I have Switch 106 and 107 in my house when I only own 2… real smart…

Destroyed by update
This update destroyed all of my settings I had for the five different devices I run. What a disappointment. You just wasted at least an hour of my life to have to reconfigure everything and re-add all these devices. Some are in really awkward places to get to, and that’s the reason why I use it because it’s impossible to have a switch control it. Definitely not happy. Update: new update didn’t do anything to fix what the update before destroyed. Now is a good time to switch companies because this one has turned into trash.
Doesn’t Work
The app records motion but you can’t play it back. The playback button doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t open to another screen, nothing happens.

My cameras were hacked
There’s no second verification when you login anyone can hack into your camera unfortunately, my password was sold on the dark web and my settings were played with somebody was playing with my lights. They need to have a second authentication code

There are plenty of other good options for reasonably priced outdoor cameras with SD cards that doesn’t play these stupid games. REALLY BAD MOVE FEIT! DID YOU THINK WE WOULD NOT NOTICE? Beware! They may be seeking to try to force us to go to iCloud in the near future if we still want to review our recordings on these cameras that we already installed. Worked for years
Recent update messed everything up I don’t see my floodlights event recordings anymore it says there’s no event recordings found on the sd card yet I keep getting notifications this app has always been lackluster but I regret updating for sure please fix or change it back such an inconvenience

It’s not listing any recordings anymore
I am not sure when this started, but I’m having trouble with the app. I have five cameras and none of them have a listing of the recordings from any other events. I can still access the recordings if I scroll through the time.. I see the recordings and I cannot access some, but it is not listed.

Unreliable adding light bulbs. Tried separating 2.4 network, hotspot only and multiple bulbs. Forces you to use this app before adding to Alexa. Buy a different brand.
Do NOT use older versions.
I've been hearing about FEIT a lot so I wanted to try it out. Since I have an old phone with low iOS, It didn't work considering how it crashes instantly. Whenever I open FEIT, It crashed after 5 seconds while loading. Please consider this and have a good day.
