Total failure! Waste of money!
When I received my Fieldy I plugged it in to charge it. The light kept flashing a series of colors over and over. I left it for a few hours and it was still flashing all the colors. I thought it was taking an awfully long time to charge so I left it overnight. The next day it was still flashing! So I unplugged it and left it on the table.
A few weeks later there were no more flashing lights, so I plugged it in again. Soon the light came on and was a steady white.
So I carried it around for the day and saw that it recorded EVERYTHING! There is no power switch - at least one that works. So you can’t turn it off during times that you don’t want to record.
Spooky.
So I plugged it in so it would be charged and ready for the next day only for it to go back to the flashing multicolored lights again.
I unplugged it and haven’t been able to use it again.
The truly sickening thing is that I paid a lot of money not only for the device, but I also bought the pro plan because I had lots of training that i wanted to record so I could refer back to it.
That’s a whale of a lot of money for one day of testing!
Definitely not worth it. I want a refund of every penny I wasted on this useless piece of junk and the unusable « pro » plan.
This deserves zero stars, but unfortunately one is as low as it will allow.

Don’t Work
I have never been able to connect it to y IPhone their support is awful.

I can’t even get the app to open and stay open it closes automatically. I want to like it but the app glitches out most of the time making it unreliable. If they get it to work better on iOS I will rerate it.

Is this a joke?
It says I have 2.5 hours of transcription, but it won’t do more than two chats before it forces me to upgrade. My first chat was to say I’m testing. What did I just talk about? My second chat was to say I’ve integrated tasks. Can you add a tasks to my to-do list? That’s when it hit me with a forced upgrade no more chats are accepted.
Honestly, if this feels useless right out of the box. Definitely not what I was sold in the video where they talked about how great it was.
Maybe I’m using it wrong? Maybe there’s a bug? I love supporting new tech and startups but force me to pay $20 just to test out the device I just bought even though I still have 2.5 hours of transcription time left doesn’t make sense to me.

Don’t buy it
I haven’t had a week and it will no longer pair. Their help details are inadequate and everything they suggest doesn’t work. Rather than helping me, keep tasks and notes and events in order for my convenience, I’m spending more time, trying to get it to work and managing it than actually getting any value from it.

Asked me to sign in or create a login, sends me a code, I put in the code and nothing happens!!
Customer service doesn’t respond- don’t buy
Great potential. Terrible (non-existent) support when the tech fails. And all tech does fail; the difference is whether the company has people that can help you resolve it. This one did not respond to my support ticket, 9 days and counting. Plus I followed up numerous times. Silence.
Annoying
Login is annoying. Can’t even install the app because you only have 10 seconds to enter the code and then it is no good.
Disappointed
Purchased this device along with a years subscription. Received the device and I’m unable to activate it or the subscription. There is no support options on their website. I’ve sent multiple emails to no avail. I’m returning the device tomorrow. Would have loved to see if it worked. Disputing the charge on my credit card as well.
Not as advertised
I bought a Compass pendant and I received a FIELDY branded pendant. The compass website says that this pendant has 60 hours of continuous transcribing on it and then when you connected to your phone and upload it will do the analysis. Now that I actually receive it the app tells me I have to be continuously connected for it to work which means this is just a microphone!!!! so I would forget this app and just get another good transcribing AI app and just have it on your phone because you have to have your phone next to you anyway!! And then you aren't wearing this heavy goofy pendant all day.
Won’t Connect
Won’t connect to Bluetooth. Can’t do anything with it. For all I know it’s just a piece of plastic with a blinking light. Absolutely worthless.
Feels Like a $0.99 Product - But Costs $99 + Subscription
This device is a complete letdown. The hardware is flimsy and cheaply made - it feels like it wouldn’t survive regular use. The software is underdeveloped and comes off like a low-budget, wannabe app. Together, the package isn’t even worth 99 cents - yet it’s priced at $99 upfront, plus a recurring subscription fee.
For that price, you’d expect polish, reliability, and innovation - but this feels unfinished and overpriced.
I’ve also tried the Limitless Pendant, which is much better built hardware-wise, but the software experience is similarly disappointing. Neither product lives up to the hype - save your money.

Very Disappointed
1st it took five months to receive it.
2nd it will not charge at all, and I can’t get it to turn on to connect to my phone highly disappointed, especially for the price

JUNK DONT BUY IT
Mine doesn’t work and the company has gone silent about replacing. We finally had to dispute the credit card charge.
How does it work.
There aren’t any instructions and it’s always dead. That and they just keep prompting me to sign for $170. Not sure what the deal is. Super weird
Junk Battery Life
First, it took 2 months to get, second, when I finally received it, it lasted for 7 hours. I’ve used it everyday for 7 days, and it’s completely dies after 7 hours of use. I’m not in meetings all day, I sit at my desk mostly. The company is extremely difficult to get in touch with. No customer service whatsoever. They have nobody to call, only text and emails. Will never recommend this product.
Disappointed
I️ was disappointed to learn that it costs so much to subscribe and you only have 14 days to return and customer service is very slow.

I’m stuck on this irritating loop on the app where it keeps asking me to turn on location services. Yes it’s on, yes it’s allowed to use location services. Still waiting for someone to contact me about fixing this
New update 08-10-24. Update 3 after a week
So after wear daily for a week. I have to update my review from 5 stars to 1. Day one I charged it up and it seemed to work great. Charged overnight and day 2. Noticed it was transcribing much except the tv. Then realized the app had to be open for it to work. Charged overnight and day 3-5 been wearing and it is not transcribing 98% of anything. It definitely doesn’t update evey hour. I have to manually click the uodate arrow. Then nothing really happens occasionally a tiny transcribed couple lines might appear. So far everything is mis spelled and misheard. Even common words but it doesn’t make a difference it doesn’t transcribe most anyhow. The developers have updated daily since I got it and with each update it seems it does less. When I got it before I paid for the Pro It seemed to work great. Now o bought the subscription to Pro and have updated daily and it isn’t really doing anything at all. The mic is on. It is fully charged. I’m wearing outside the shirt. The ONLY time I get any sort of transcript is when I keep the app open NOT in background but open with phone awake! And I Manually hit the transfer arrow. Went from great to good to useless. Can’t recommend. Going to get a refund on the very expensive subscription for a useless device
Disappointed in Desktop Application
Everything worked great until I downloaded the desktop app. Now it does not work as smoothly. Not a logical break between meetings. Changing meeting format from “lecture” to “weekly team meeting”, I cannot seem to do from the desktop. Email is easier on the desktop than on the phone.

Nothing is perfect, but this tool was quite excellent for a while. And then some updates happened. I noticed the microphone was less effective, missing things, and the offline data rarely uploaded full conversations. Another update happened, not much changed. And now this most recent update? I can’t even keep my device paired with my phone. I don’t know how many resets I have to do, but at this point it is currently unusable. I’ve only had this for a few months, I’ll keep an eye on things for the next couple of weeks, but I’m tired of updates causing problems, and me not learning my lesson. I pre-ordered Fieldy2 last week, but now I’m not sure that was the right call.
Update broke the device
