It’ll work fine for a few minutes but as soon as you idle for more than 5-10 minutes it’s over. The app refuses to show the selected frame unless closed and reopened. It’s been this way for as long as I’ve been using it (3+ years) and adds so much unnecessary frustration while designing. Would be great to have it fixed

Love Figma. Epic Fail.
Okay, FigJam is no more…use Figma. Update Figma app. Open FigJam. Try to switch pages. Greeted by “Rename page?” Prompt. No way to switch pages. Reaching for laptop. Wasted time for an obvious, atrocious bug. I feel burned and it will be a while before I try to do anything with Figma on an iPad.
Login impossible
The application does not allow you to log in without having to install a browser other than Safari. I was unable to log in. Unpleasant in usability
Terrible App
Thought I’d give this app a try based on a recommendation. Created an account but had to verify my email. I went through the steps to verify my email and still can’t even get past the sign up screen. I’ve tried verifying my email multiple times and still can’t utilize the app. So If I’m already having this much trouble in the beginning, I’m sure it’s an indication of how my user experience will be in the app.

This app came recommended to me. Besides pressing on the screen and holding to make comments, what does it do?

Bad app
Junk app, can’t even verify with google without it having a seizure. More worthless shovelware to harvest data

No options to actually edit files, often times out when you switch to another app, and for some darnded reason it will sometimes refuse to show you certain pages of a project (with the "open pages" option grayed out). Completely useless to anyone who even wants to view designs. Just avoid using the Figma platform altogether at this point, using the website on an iPhone will just use up memory and crash Safari

Can’t Even Log On when creating an account
This log in process where a person MAY NOT WISH to have the intrusive Google as the only option for SECURITY reasons and GOOSE STEPPING GOOGLE is the only option is BUNK! I cannot even access the app to adequately assess if it is a useful tool. This is a -5 out of five.
Teachers beware!
I absolutely loved Figma until two of my students got locked out. We tried to prove their student status with several documents, all of which were rejected. Multiple attempts to contact support went unanswered. No matter how much I like the Figma system personally, it’s useless to me if I can’t teach with it.

can’t even log in without updating the ios
for reasons beyond my understanding, the log in webpage won’t load unless you update your iOS. i downloaded the app to avoid this very stupid limitation. useless.
Companion app
It should be clearer that the app is meant to be used as a companion app to your computer. You can’t edit. You can only view, comment, and mirror. It would be nice if the App Store name was Figma Mirror or Figma companion
Not a design app
Since the whole point of Figma is to design, I see no point on this app to exists to just comment and preview.

iPad app is really bad
iPad is the ideal form factor for Figma and Figjam but the current user experience is very limited, clunky, and buggy. Please invest in making a great iPad app.

Useless
For a company designing software that helps designers create software for users, this company sure doesn’t understand their own users. An iPad is a useful creative tool, but Figma can’t prioritize making their web software work on the iPad because they’d have to tackle difficult development problems. Instead, they take away the possibility of using the software, even in a less-than-ideal state, and give us only commenting for Design files and edit access for Figjam files, which is useless.

Page switcher doesn’t work
Only feature of this app is to view our designs and the view pages button is disabled.
Add download ability!
Its useless to just use this app for views, at least download!
Can't edit design files
I downloaded this app thinking I could design on the fly and it doesn't do that. It's just for viewing, commenting and sharing prototypes. Huge let down IMHO.

iPhone x is forced to withdraw from the stage of history
Our design draft is still using the 375 size. I am so sad that the best iPhone X is forced to withdraw from the figma stage because it cannot be upgraded to ios17. A huge app cannot be quickly iterated to a design size of 390 or 393. It's so sad. Can the decision to only use it in ios17 be withdrawn?

Screen Flashes Every Other Click
I’m using Figma to test out my prototype because my computer can’t handle having both the wireframes and the prototype open. Unfortunately, the screen just flashes every other click. Or every few seconds. Or any time I make an edit to the wireframes. It’s honestly really awful to look at because it happens constantly. An awful way to test out my prototype. Deleting this after I finish up this project.

You cannot edit slides or make meaningful changes, you can only view slides and make comments. Absolutely useless app.
Used to be good
Once a while when i open the app, it kicks me out from login. This process is very frustrating and today it suddenly asked me for a new password!? This many unnecassary friction made me stop using this lousy app.
