Not loading correctly
When logging in on an android device it is not recognizing my subscription from my apple subscription

App is terrible
Apps are hard to log in to. Tends to give me an error message more often than not on my TV when trying to use the app. Smh
Unusable Since Interface Update
As others have mentioned the new update makes this app completely unusable. The app no longer supports Chromecast and the airplay feature is nonfunctional. Live TV will not work regardless of trying cast to a TV. Don’t bother subscribing as this app is no longer worth it.

Updated App
With the new update it is difficult to use the app and I can no longer screen play. I pay for the app so I can airplay it to my TV for my kiddo.
Used to love the app
This was always a great app. After switching from Comcast, we loved the app for our daughter. However, they have recently changed it so we can’t cast from the app to our tv and are very disappointed about this change. The casting feature is the only reason why we paid for the app.

It was very simple before. And There were games that really helped him with identification as well as dexterity that has been removed. I will definitely be cancelling the subscription if it doesn’t go back sooner than later.

Accessibility
There’s are NO captions available which help kids learn to read, deaf, or HOH. They also have shows with NO WORDS which don’t help kids learn to talk. These are: very small creatures, sunny bunnies, super dad, rainbow horse, color crew to name a few. Could be so much better WITH words. It’s like they want to dumb down your child to grunts, and squeals.
Stuck on a white screen
Not sure what’s happening-it loads fine on one device, but won’t load on another.
FRAUD! Don’t get this app!
We downloaded this app because my little one loved the TV channel as a baby, and I don’t know how but last year apparently I paid a yearly subscription for $2, I have no idea how or what since I NEVER received a receipt, I was never asked, it was NEVER approved. I guess they got permission from my 2 year old, and then this year 2025 I am charged 46.75 from Cleeng on my PayPal account, up until today I had NO IDEA what Cleeng was, I googled it and apparently a streaming device, a week later I get a weird receipt from the first app, and not even a good receipt! It’s confusing and doesn’t even explain what is it! Turns out I had a subscription all along!!!! My son, now 3, BARELY uses this app. PayPal refused to give me a refund because I have paid this app before!!! But there are no email receipts in my account!!!

Commercials and too expensive
When I looked into to this and purchased this app for my grandchildren I did not think there would be commercials. Also there was very few episode's available. Severely disappointed as they really liked it. I have canceled before the free week was even into one day. Im hoping that the company does not charge me as I have read many in the reviews are having trouble canceling there subscription's.
Can’t add subscription or trial
Might be the greatest app…. But I can’t activate a subscription or do a trial so I guess I’ll never know.
Crashes
Crashed the first time I opened it. Tried again several times and even started a free trial and it crashed every time I tried watching any shows or the livestream. Cancelled and uninstalled immediately.
Too expensive
I figured that some of the options (games) would be subscription only, but I did not expect to find only 3 (that’s THREE - 3!) of the over 500 video clips would be free. There’s 17 shows highlighted, but only 3 of them have one free video. And I had to actually search for them. So not worth the effort for my 2 year old. I subscribe to the TV channel, so I’ll just start recording episodes on my iPad again. They work well on long trips in the car, and I don’t have to pay to see them on another device. Deleting all the apps now because the phone app gets boring after 10 seconds.
Subscriptions
The educational materials in the App is awesome. I don’t/didn’t have a problem with the program or materials in the program. My problem was not being able to go into the settings on the app and cancel subscription, instead I had to go through an act of congress (per say) to cancel that shouldn’t be. Too much strolling and redirecting. Also charging my account after submitting a cancellation three days before2/24/23 cancellation 2/26/23 and cancellation not taking effect until a month after cancellation 3/26/24, which I don’t feel make sense. I feel subscription should be refunded, will update when given an explanation. Help me understand please!
Not a free app
Nothing on this app is for free. Seems pretty greedy. Only came here from youtube, will be scrubbing my childs youtube of babyfirst now, when advertising the app they didnt say anything about “subscription fees” i find that to be dishonest. Will find other apps that will allow childern to learn without a price tag. Bye
Won’t load.
Not sure if it’s an iOS 17 issue or what, but the app constantly stalls saying, “Loading failed. Please try again later.” Would love to use the app on the phone and not just on the TV, but as it is it’s completely useless for me.
1 star for data not collected
At least they don’t collect data off the device it’s on. But there’s no free content like it says there is. The content labeled free freezes, redirects to an oops dialogue that says come back later, or to a purchase sub screen.
Never works
Don’t waste your time or money. The app have a lot of issues. Most of the time videos won’t play, it will ask you to sing in a millions of times. Overall just a bad experience.
New 6.0 is not easier and quicker for the kids
Love the content but the interface is not little kid friendly or easier anymore.
The video now plays on part of the screen and doesn’t lock so the little ones keep touching other buttons for stuff that is on the other part of the screen. They can’t make it full screen because they have to tap the screen then click the little square.

Consider my surprise when I learned that new “content” is often a commercial for a plushie/toilet this company is trying to push.
Or worse a commercial for adult things like “JG Wentworth” or insurance.
That would be forgivable if I had any means of making a playlist of my sons favorite shows.
That leads me to my second gripe with this app/service.
The application itself is low-effort. The activities are things like “print out and color a picture of a fish”. Or a buggy alphabet game that crashes consistently.
Download “Endless Learning Academy” instead if you want your child to have a good experience with educational content apps.
It’s a shame really. The content from this service can be really good, but it’s being bogged down by cash-grabbing and incompetent developers.

Waste of Money - Never Works
I'm not even going to waste a lot of time writing this. I simply urge and warn you - the app does not work 99% of the time, the employees are COMPLETELY aware of it, and will explain in email when you write, and they continue to charge people money, knowing their app does not work. If you have money to waste - go for it.
Not user friendly
Most games are so enlarged that the nearly everything is impossible to play. Makes it very difficult for a 2 year old to learn or actually do anything on the app. Not recommended, especially not if you pay to access additional app features…
Bad I do not recommend this
So recently I was getting this for my baby sister andI thought it was a good idea for the nursery rhymes but it said I have to create an account so I don’t know what to do and also I had to pay so I do not recommend this for your child
Incompatible IOS on iPad Air
I pay for an annual subscription which I’m fine with. The content is okay, but I wish their characters were cuter. Regardless, we use my old iPad Air for our children to use but this app isn’t supported on older IOS (iPad Air only goes to IOS 12). Since the entire purpose for paying for programming for children to watch and they can’t watch it on their device, we will be cancelling our paid service. Please let us know when you will be compatible and we will sign up again. I’m not buying my child a new iPad for you when all other streaming services have figured it out already.

Baby tunes out with commercials
My baby couldn’t care less about Ellen deGeneres skin care line, zocdoc or the Gilt shopping. Just to name few. We understand you need to have commercials, but can we have something more appropriate? Do you assume mom is watching this with the baby and are selling to them?
Doe NOT work on multiple devices
I have the app downloaded on my iPad and it works great! It’s only worked on the iPhone ONCE now it acts like I don’t have an account or paid for a YEARLY subscription. About cancel it because it’s frustrating when my two year old can’t use something that I paid money for.. no one wants carry about an iPad all the time. Please fix!

The Live feature is GLITCHY!
I got this app so my son could watch BabyFirst in his room without cable, solely for the live broadcast feature. IT’S SOOOO GLITCHY! It’ll freeze, reload (to the same commercial from when it froze) then freeze again. When it attempts to reload, it only loads to 33% then spins repeatedly on a black screen. I’ve closed/reopened the app and I’ve deleted/re-downloaded the app, nothing changes. SO FRUSTRATING! PLEASE FIX THIS!
Live TV
The live TV is glitching really bad. Has been doing so for 2 days. I sent an email last night and it’s been over 12 hours and no response. I paid for an entire year of service and I can see now that I’m going to regret it. I had another issue that I had to sorta figure out on my own. This is ridiculous.
Horrible App!
This app is horrible! It displays the incorrect content. You can only play one video then the next one will be in landscape so you can’t see it. You have to close the whole app and reopen it just to watch one more video and repeat the process. Very disappointed!
