I was tricked from the video because it wasn’t the same game it was different. Thats why I give this game 1 star.
Money-Grubbing, Absolutely Rigged Game
I started playing this game a few years ago, back when it was actually good. But recently, the game is so ridiculously rigged. Levels are not labeled appropriately to match their difficulty, and some levels are so egregiously difficult that you can’t beat them even if you equip every single power-up. It’s so obvious that they’re just trying to force you to pay extra for more boosters. Greedy, shameful, disgusting behavior.
Capitalism ruining game
I used to think this game wasn’t trying to rob the consumer like Candy crush but it has turned. A 4.99 game pass would last for a month just this time last year. Now, they’re doing 2-3 a month, that you must purchase in the order to use and made it harder to hit goals or even complete. The levels get harder out of nowhere. I do not see any issues with short term play. It was not until I got to level 5000+ that I started making in app purchases since I played often. It is money hungry and just because they wait until level 9000+ it hard does not make it ok.

When you reach a high level the game does not let you keep your power ups- it is programmed to Rob you of any way of winning without spending money

Apparently I’ve played this game before and have since deleted it. I was playing one of the ads and was enjoying that, however it was misleading.
Inconsistent
I never get the treasure island game. Got it once when it first came out, now I see all my teammates talking about it in chat, but I never get it. Game is updated.. I have top level and one of the top scores. Game has taken too much of my time as it is-not allowing me to play the “ships” with my teammates is the straw need to finally delete this life sucker.

This game is made to take your money. They make it impossible to win after you’ve been playing for a bit. They make it super easy at first to get you hooked and then it’s almost impossible to move forward without spending ALL of your money. What a joke. This game is hardly free!
Frustrating!
After playing this game for several years, I am about to quit. All the updates in the past year are designed to encourage the player to spend more money. It’s become almost impossible to move forward without buying gems. The free gems when feeding the fish have become fewer and farther between. You can no longer earn gems at the treasure caches on the trail. The green (easy) levels are deceptive and harder to pass than the purple and red levels. I have noticed players bailing from the game. My team used to have 30 players and now we are down to 8 at best. This game is no longer fun! New players beware!

Such a scam. The ads are fake. They have boring puzzles. Fun? LIES!!!! Seriously, I deleted Fishdom like 1 year ago, but my BROTHER had to DOWNLOAD it again. Luckily, I deleted it only a mere few days after he did. It is the most boring scam game in history. Fishdom? Boredom. (Good joke, right?)

Legendary Tasty Edition
Been a longtime Fishdom player. Impossible to obtain the last three cards needed to complete this edition after completing and winning numerous challenges and wasting $. This is a great game for those lacking common sense.
Greedy Devs
I been playing this game for years, almost up to level 10k. But now the devs have ratcheted the levels. They made the easy levels almost impossible to pass unless u use power ups and gems on them. It leaves many, experienced players even, stuck on easy levels for days. I get that free games need microtransactions, especially if they don’t have ads, but this is shameless. It feels like a betrayal to lean into manufactured difficulty so hard and to make the game almost unplayable.
Unsolicited charges
Beware! They charged me for purchases I never made. They did refund the charges but after it happened twice, I uninstalled the game.
No Help Scam
I’ve spent a lot of money for the boosters and the app will purposely make your swipes go the opposite direction to make you lose the game. I’ve reached out to the support staff to discuss the bug and it’s been 5 days with no response from them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE BOOSTERS IT IS A WASTE

Forget about talking to real support. Only bots and bot answers when you try to connect to support. They don’t solve any of your problems. They don’t listen either.

Forced friends challenge
This latest mini game challenge is frustrating. I cannot beat the first level without “upgrading a ship” and thus requires me to invite friends to a challenge. I did not install this game to be forced into social play. Shame on the developers for this nonsense. This is the last straw. In the last year I have noticed a serious downgrade in bonuses. The new tools are a joke, replacing glove with “shuffle” means I no longer control which moves are made. Lightning bonuses were also seriously downgraded. The game has become a big money grab.

They've changed the accrued time energies in the mini game from accruing a max of 150, down to 100. Why? Does 50 energies really hurt you? STOP FIXING WHAT ISN'T BROKE, and STOP WITH THE MONEY GRAB! It will only COST YOU more in the end as players leave!!

Technical Issue Causes Game to Stop Early and Losing Lives!
For a few days now my game quits working while I still have moves to play! Lose a life every single time. When it’s working it’s fun. But this has been annoying and frustrating. I messaged them several times. They are “working on it”.
I'm over begging for lives or not being able to play
I used to love this game but the devs have gotten greedier and greedier. Begging for lives was tolerable on 2005 Facebook but it's stupid now. If I hit a hard level I want to be free to keep trying, not forced to walk away, beg, or spend money. On top of that super lightning has destroyed the game tuning. Without it some of the levels are really hard even with boosts. With it the game is trivial. I'm off to find a match 3 that's more like Fishdom back when it was good.

Not the same, in a bad way
I’ve been playing this game for about 10 years. I used to love it! Now, it’s getting ridiculously hard and the rewards are few and far between. It takes FOREVER to get stars for the fish aquariums because everything is so expensive, even the small decorations. This game has become more stressful and frustrating than relaxing.
