Won’t Stop Attempting Payment
I went through the trial period for this app and found that I didn’t like for myself. I went ahead and unsubscribed from the trial a bit late and it attempted to charge my apple cash. Over the past two months I’ve contacted support multiple times and even deleted my FITBOD account in attempt to stop unsuccessful the charges with no success. I do not suggest this app simply based on support responsiveness and be careful signing up for the free trial if you’re forgetful like me.
Horrible
Tried too workout with the free trial and after it keeps charging me 95.99 and its not letting me cancel it
Strava / Fitbod UNSAFE
Fitbod gives your data to Strava and they use it to do very weird stuff. Abandon SHIP
$100 app
This stupid app requires downloading and creating an account before they slap you with the price tag of $100/yr and no free version. Why is this info not front and center before downloading the app?
App update IS HORRIBLE
You guys actually made the app so much worse with this most recent update. Did you even consumer test it with your current consumer base before you launched it? It’s absolute garbage. Change it back.
Also, I gave you feedback long ago that you never responded to. I kept it below for your reference. You’re still not providing any ability to adjust equipment limitations in the gym other than disliking whether or not the gym has the equipment or not. And there still no support for injuries. I don’t need something giving me a bunch of exercises. They’re going to stress. Part of my body that are already in pain due to an injury.
That said, the app needs improvements. I need to be able to adjust the workout to the limitations of the equipment. It keeps asking for higher weights than the machine machines are capable of. I feel like a penalizes your strength rating when you’re logging sets at lower weight than what it’s recommending. Sometimes it has nothing to do with what I’m capable of and more to do with limitations of the gym. It should be adjusting reps to match the machine capabilities.
Also, at 49 old I have some aches and pains that are more chronic than just workout related. It would be great if there is someway for me log injuries such that it could help me either rehab that area or avoid putting an additional strain on that area that’s going to make it worse. It just puts me in a position of having to adjust the workout myself, which I feel defeats the purpose of the app

Membership
They make it hard to cancel membership so they can keep on billing you after you are no longer using app.
Changed app from useful to useless
You used to be able to pick specific muscle groups and have the app generate a workout. Now it just does upper body or lower body. This app sucks now.
Great App with AI
Love the app, hate that it constantly nags me to leave it a review. Therefore, I’m leaving a 1 star review in protest for the cramming tactic.
The reviews have GOT to be bots
I downloaded this bc it’s got good reviews and says that there’s no subscription you have to pay but literally the moment I sent up an account it doesn’t allow you to use the app unless you pay $100 a year with your first month free ts is buns
Surprise, it’s not free
It’s crazy expensive, why can’t they just be up front about it?
SLA - Custom Service
I really want to love Fitbod, but I’m now 48 hours into a 7-day trial and still haven’t been able to use the app.
I signed up using Apple’s “Hide My Email” and Single Sign-On. When trying to access my account via webpage, there’s no password option because Apple SSO doesn’t provide one. I submitted a support ticket with screenshots and all the information needed for what should be a simple password reset.
Two days/ 48+hrs later, I’ve received nothing but an automated response telling me not to submit multiple tickets because it will delay support. There’s no phone number, no live chat, no email address, and no indication of expected response times or service levels. The only option is a web form and waiting.
As someone who works in Customer Success leadership, I understand support queues happen, but having customers burn through a 7-day trial while waiting for a response… with no communication, is unacceptable. A basic account access issue shouldn’t require days of silence.
I’m not reviewing the workouts, I haven’t been able to use them. I’m reviewing the customer experience, and so it has been disappointing.

Scam
They charged me a yearly subscription after canceling it I emailed them 3 times for refund and I haven’t gotten a response I had to dispute it with my credit card and still fighting the charge and 99% of their reviews are fake.
Every single update is worse than the last
It seems the developers hate their users. In this last update they have taken away even more of our agency and trying to force us to go by how they think we should. I think it’s time to say goodbye forever to this terrible application.
Why
Why do you have to pay to exercise
They only care about money
You need a subscription to even have the app. They should care more about people working out than they care about money. Just selfish
It’s pay to use
You have to pay before you do anything don’t waste your time
Needs a lot of improvement
-Timer can’t be paused
-Targeted muscles aren’t shown in workouts-you have to dig to find them
-I wanted a full body workout in one workout and it simply would not do all the body in one workout. Kept breaking the workouts into torso, lower, upper or a combo of two but never three. So I had to build it myself.
The demonstration videos are helpful.
Overall worth more like $25

Equipment selection
The AI should be more interactive
It should be able to link to my gym and also have all of the equipment that my gym has
It should be able to link to my gym and also have all of the equipment that my gym has
Appears great but has basic limitations
I downloaded this app for the pure purpose of tracking and calculating weight increases for hypertrophy and strength. I built my own workout plans in the saved plans option based on my routine. Each week, the same exact weight amounts are calculated for me despite me choosing to calculate new weights. So now I have to roughly guess the incremental weekly increases I want to target and track my history to see if my progress is on track. Hoping they fix this bug as I do like the app otherwise.
Subscription needed
The app setup was amazing at first. But the fact that I need to buy a subscription to use it is ridiculous. Money hungry set up.
